Claims (9)
- 第1のアンテナ構成で配備された複数のアンテナを使用してダウンリンク上で信号を送信する前に、基地局に実装された送信機において、第1の変換行列およびプリコーディング行列を前記信号に適用するステップであって、前記プリコーディング行列が、第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたコードブックから選択され、前記第1の変換行列が、前記第1のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列を、前記第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列に変換する、ステップ
を含む方法。 - 前記第1のアンテナ構成が、リニア・アンテナ・アレイに対応し、前記第2のアンテナ構成が、円形アレイに対応し、前記変換行列が、前記リニア・アンテナ・アレイのために定義された前記チャネル行列を、前記円形アレイのために定義されたチャネル行列に変換する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ユーザ機器に実装された送信機において、基地局から受信した第2の変換行列を適用するステップであって、前記第2の変換行列が、前記ユーザ機器のロケーション、または前記ユーザ機器によって行われた基準信号送信に対して前記基地局によって行われた測定の少なくとも一方に基づいて決定される、ステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プリコーディング行列が、非散乱環境を前提とする前記第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたコードブックから選択され、前記第1の変換行列が、散乱環境を表す情報に基づいて決定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の変換行列および前記プリコーディング行列を適用することによって前記信号を変更した後で、前記第1のアンテナ構成で配備された前記複数のアンテナを介して前記信号を送信するステップであって、前記変換行列が、前記第1のアンテナ構成で配備された前記複数のアンテナを介して送信される前記信号の送信波形を、前記第2のアンテナ構成で配備された複数のアンテナを介して送信されることとなる送信波形に変換する、ステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ワイヤレス通信ネットワーク内の基地局において、ユーザ機器に関連付けられた変換行列を選択するステップであって、前記変換行列およびプリコーディング行列が、第1のアンテナ構成で配備された複数のアンテナを使用してダウンリンク上で信号を送信する前に前記信号に適用するために選択され、前記プリコーディング行列が、第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたコードブックから選択され、前記変換行列が、前記第1のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列を、前記第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列に変換する、ステップ
を含む方法。 - 前記プリコーディング行列が、リニア・アンテナ・アレイまたは交差偏波アンテナ・アレイの少なくとも一方のために定義されたコードブックから選択され、前記変換行列を選択するステップが、ユーザ機器のロケーション情報に基づいて前記変換行列を選択するステップと、前記ダウンリンク上で前記ユーザ機器に送信される信号に前記選択された変換行列を適用するステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 基地局に実装された送信機のための変換行列を決定するステップであって、前記変換行列が、第1のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列を、第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたチャネル行列に変換し、前記変換行列およびプリコーディング行列が、前記第1のアンテナ構成で配備された複数のアンテナを使用してダウンリンク上で信号を送信する前に前記信号に適用されるように構成され、前記プリコーディング行列が、前記第2のアンテナ構成のために定義されたコードブックから選択される、ステップ
を含む方法。 - 前記変換行列を決定するステップが、前記送信機に関連付けられた散乱環境における無線周波数信号の伝搬をシミュレートすることによって、前記変換行列を決定するステップを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
