Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 外科用器具であって、
近位端部および遠位端部を備えた管状体を有する第1の切削刃と、ここで、切削窓が前記遠位端部付近で前記第1の切削刃の第1の側面に配置され、吸引開口部が前記遠位端部付近で前記第1の切削刃の第2の側面に配置され、
近位端部および遠位端部を備えた管状体を有する第2の切削刃と、ここで、切削窓が前記遠位端部付近で前記第2の切削刃の側面に配置され、前記外科用器具が前記第1の切削刃内で前記第2の切削刃を回転させることによって組織を切断するように、前記第2の切削刃が前記第1の切削刃の内側に回転可能に配置され、さらに、前記第1および第2の切削刃の切削窓の中に前記組織を引き込み、前記第2の切削刃の回転によって前記組織を切断するために、前記第2の切削刃の内部穴を通して真空となるものであり、
前記第1の切削刃の前記吸引開口部を覆って配置された吸引通路形成部材と、を含み、ここで、前記吸引通路形成部材は、入口、出口、および前記入口および前記出口の間の通路を含み、前記出口は前記吸引開口部と連通し、前記入口は遠位を向いているものであって、
前記外科用器具は、前記吸引開口部および前記吸引通路形成部材を通して前記真空となるように、前記第1および第2の切削刃の前記切削窓が互いに整列配置されない状態で、前記第2の切削刃が回転を停止している間に、前記第2の切削刃の前記内部穴を通して前記真空となることによって、吸引ツールとして使用できる、外科用器具。 - 前記吸引開口部は、細長いスロットである、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記吸引通路形成部材は、前記吸引開口部を覆うことができるように前記第1の切削刃の外面に取り付けられた半割管であり、ここで、前記半割管は閉止端部および開放端部を備え、前記開放端部は前記入口を画成するものである、請求項1または2に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記半割管は金属製である、請求項3に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記吸引通路形成部材は、前記第1の切削刃の前記遠位端部を覆って嵌合する管であり、ここで、前記管は前記通路が配置される突出部分を有するものである、請求項1または2に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記管は金属製である、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記管は樹脂製である、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記管は前記第1の切削刃に摺動可能に着脱できる、請求項5乃至7のうちのいずれか1項に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記吸引通路形成部材は、前記入口が位置する遠位端部を有し、ここで、前記吸引通路形成部材の前記遠位端部は、先細りになっているものである、請求項1または2に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記吸引通路形成部材は、樹脂製である、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記吸引通路形成部材は、金属製である、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第1および第2の切削刃は、滅菌可能な材料から作られる、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第1および第2の切削刃は、金属から作られる、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第1および第2の切削刃は、ステンレス鋼から作られる、請求項13に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第1および第2の切削刃の間に液体を供給できる通路が存在する、請求項1乃至14のうちのいずれか1項に記載の外科用器具。
- 請求項1乃至15のうちのいずれか1項に記載の前記外科用器具を被検体の孔に挿入するステップと、
吸引動作を実行するステップと、を含み、ここで、前記吸引動作は、
前記第2の切削刃の前記内部穴が前記第1および第2の切削刃の前記切削窓のいずれかを通して前記被検体の前記孔と連通しないように、前記第1および第2の切削刃の前記切削窓が互いに整列配置されないように、前記第1の切削刃に対して前記第2の切削刃を位置付けることと、
前記被検体の前記孔から構成要素を前記吸引通路形成部材と前記吸引開口部とを通して前記第2の切削刃の前記内部穴に引き込むために、前記第2の切削刃の前記内部穴を通して真空にすることと、を含むものである、外科的方法。 - 前記真空にするステップの間中、前記第1および第2の切削刃は、互いに対して回転されない、請求項16に記載の外科的方法。
- 前記吸引動作を実行する前、後、または前後両方のいずれかに切削動作を実行するステップをさらに含み、前記切削動作は、
前記第1の切削刃に対して前記第2の切削刃を回転させると同時に、前記第2の切削刃の前記内部穴を通して前記真空にするステップ
を含む、請求項16に記載の外科的方法。 - 前記切削動作は、
前記第1および第2の切削刃の間に存在する通路を通して液体を供給するステップ
をさらに含む、請求項18に記載の外科的方法。
