Claims (13)
- 各々が上面、下面、および側面を有する複数の繊維(22)を含む複合品であって、
繊維のうちの少なくとも1つの上面および下面のうちの少なくとも1つは刻み目領域(40)および刻み目領域(40)の両側の1対の側方領域(42)を有し、
複数の繊維(22)は層状に配置され、
1つの層の繊維のうちの少なくとも1つは隣接する層の繊維のうちの少なくとも1つの刻み目領域内に受容される、複合品。 - 繊維(22)は、側方領域(42)の繊維厚みよりも薄い刻み目領域(40)の厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の複合品。
- 複数の繊維(22)は、繊維のうちの少なくとも1つの側面が直接隣り合う繊維の側面と実質的に平行となるように、隣り合う配置で位置決めされている、請求項1に記載の複合品。
- 上面および下面は各々が刻み目領域(40)を含み、
少なくとも1つの繊維の上面の刻み目領域は、繊維の下面の刻み目領域とおおむね整列している、請求項1に記載の複合品。 - 刻み目領域は対向する対の刻み目側壁(44)を含み、

ポリウレタン、フェノール、ポリイミド、ビスマレイミド、ポリエステル、エポキシ、シルセスキオキサンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む熱硬化性材料と、
炭素、炭化ケイ素、およびホウ素のうちの少なくとも1つを含む無機材料と、
Eガラス(アルミノホウケイ酸ガラス)、Sガラス(アルミノケイ酸塩ガラス)、純石英、ホウケイ酸ガラス、光学ガラスを含むガラスと、

1つの繊維の側方領域を他方の繊維の刻み目領域内に受容するステップと、を含む方法。 - 対応する対の繊維の1対の側方領域を刻み目領域(106)内に、受容するステップをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
