Abstract

Claims (12)
- 中央ムーンプール(2)を含む環状浮体(1)であって、前記浮体(1)の固有周期と実質的に等しい周期のうねりを伴う水中において、前記浮体(1)がヒーブ運動を行っている間に、前記うねりに対して逆位相にて前記中央ムーンプール(2)内で振動する水塊によって前記浮体(1)に加えられる鉛直力が、前記うねりによって前記浮体(1)に加えられる鉛直加振力を少なくとも部分的に相殺するように構成されている、環状浮体(1)。
- 前記浮体(1)がヒーブ運動を行っている間に、前記中央ムーンプール(2)における前記水塊の鉛直振動ピストンモードの固有周期Tpistonが、前記浮体(1)の固有周期Theaveの1.25〜1.55倍の範囲に収まるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 少なくとも1つのペイロードを含む、環状浮体(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つのペイロードは、少なくとも1つのエネルギー利用装置を含む、請求項4に記載の環状浮体。
- 前記少なくとも1つのペイロードは、前記浮体(1)に対して中心を外れて位置している、請求項4又は5に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つのペイロードの近傍において、より大きい浸漬容積を有する、請求項6に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 少なくとも1つの投錨装置をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 少なくとも1つのロール減衰装置をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 前記浮体の流体力学的特性を調節するために、前記中央ムーンプールの外部及び/又は内部にある、少なくとも1つの付属物をさらに含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- 前記中央ムーンプールの周囲において、前記中央ムーンプール(2)と制限された連通状態にある少なくとも1つのロール減衰チャンバをさらに含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の環状浮体(1)。
- ヒーブ固有周期に実質的に等しい周期のうねりを受ける水に浮かんでいる浮体(1)のヒーブ運動を少なくとも部分的に消滅させる方法であって、前記浮体(1)には、前記うねりによって加えられる鉛直加振力に対抗する鉛直力を前記浮体に加えるために、前記うねりに対して逆位相で水塊が振動する中央ムーンプール(2)が設けられている、方法。
