Abstract
Description
本願は、2010年11月5日付で出願された「Energy−Based Surgical Instruments」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/410,603号への優先権を主張し、その開示内容は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。本願は、2011年5月19日付で出願された「Energy−Based Surgical Instruments」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/487,846号への優先権もまた主張し、その開示内容は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。本願は、2011年10月18日付で出願された「SURGICAL INSTRUMENT WITH MODULAR END EFFECTOR AND DETECTION FEATURE」と題する米国非仮特許出願第13/275,563号への優先権もまた主張し、その開示内容は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

(2) 前記第1の伝送アセンブリが超音波エネルギーを送達するように構成され、前記第2の伝送アセンブリがRFエネルギーを送達するように構成される、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(3) 前記第1の伝送アセンブリが識別装置を備える、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(4) 前記識別装置が少なくとも1つの中断された接点を備える、実施態様3に記載の器具。
(5) 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、前記第1の伝送アセンブリと通信するように動作可能なコントローラボードを備える、実施態様4に記載の器具。
(7) 前記第1の伝送アセンブリがメモリモジュールを備える、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(8) 前記メモリモジュールが、更新可能なファームウェアを受信するように構成される、実施態様7に記載の器具。
(9) 前記メモリモジュールが、前記ハンドルアセンブリに命令を送信するように構成される、実施態様7に記載の器具。
(10) 前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信する第3の伝送アセンブリを更に備え、前記第3の伝送アセンブリが手術部位に複数のステープルを送達するように構成される、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(12) 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、単極伝送アセンブリの電極を受け入れるように動作可能な開口を備える、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(13) 前記ハンドルアセンブリと通信する増幅器を更に備える、実施態様1に記載の器具。
(14) 前記増幅器と通信する再構成フィルタを更に備える、実施態様13に記載の器具。
(15) 前記再構成フィルタがパルス幅変調を提供するように動作可能である、実施態様14に記載の器具。
(a)ジェネレータ、電源、及びコネクタポートを備えるハンドルアセンブリと、
(b)少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリと、を備え、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信し、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが少なくとも1つのモダリティで動作するように構成され、前記ハンドルアセンブリが、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリのモダリティに関わらず前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリと動作するように構成される、器具。
(17) 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリがRFエネルギーを送達するように構成される、実施態様16に記載の器具。
(18) 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが超音波エネルギーを送達するように構成される、実施態様16に記載の器具。
(19) 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが前記ジェネレータと選択的に通信し、前記ジェネレータが、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが単極伝送アセンブリを備えていることを前記ハンドルアセンブリが検出した場合に、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリから自動的に切断するように構成される、実施態様16に記載の器具。
(20) 器具であって、
(a)1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリとともに使用されるために構成されるハンドルと、
(b)前記ハンドル内に包含されたジェネレータであって、前記1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリに電力を送達するように構成される、ジェネレータと、
(c)前記ハンドルと通信する識別装置であって、前記1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリのモダリティを決定するように構成される、識別装置と、を備える、器具。
Claims (20)
- 器具であって、
(a)ハンドルアセンブリと、
(b)前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信する第1の伝送アセンブリであって、手術部位にエネルギーを送達するように動作可能である、第1の伝送アセンブリと、
(c)前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信する第2の伝送アセンブリであって、手術部位にエネルギーを送達するように動作可能であり、前記第1の伝送アセンブリ及び前記第2の伝送アセンブリが異なるモダリティで動作するように構成される、第2の伝送アセンブリと、を備える、器具。 - 前記第1の伝送アセンブリが超音波エネルギーを送達するように構成され、前記第2の伝送アセンブリがRFエネルギーを送達するように構成される、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の伝送アセンブリが識別装置を備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記識別装置が少なくとも1つの中断された接点を備える、請求項3に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、前記第1の伝送アセンブリと通信するように動作可能なコントローラボードを備える、請求項4に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、双極及び単極RF伝送アセンブリを受け入れるように構成される、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記第1の伝送アセンブリがメモリモジュールを備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記メモリモジュールが、更新可能なファームウェアを受信するように構成される、請求項7に記載の器具。
- 前記メモリモジュールが、前記ハンドルアセンブリに命令を送信するように構成される、請求項7に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信する第3の伝送アセンブリを更に備え、前記第3の伝送アセンブリが手術部位に複数のステープルを送達するように構成される、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、異なるモダリティを有する前記ハンドルアセンブリを動作させることに関する命令を格納するように動作可能なプログラム可能なチップを有するジェネレータを備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリが、単極伝送アセンブリの電極を受け入れるように動作可能な開口を備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記ハンドルアセンブリと通信する増幅器を更に備える、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記増幅器と通信する再構成フィルタを更に備える、請求項13に記載の器具。
- 前記再構成フィルタがパルス幅変調を提供するように動作可能である、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 器具であって、
(a)ジェネレータ、電源、及びコネクタポートを備えるハンドルアセンブリと、
(b)少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリと、を備え、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが前記ハンドルアセンブリと選択的に通信し、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが少なくとも1つのモダリティで動作するように構成され、前記ハンドルアセンブリが、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリのモダリティに関わらず前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリと動作するように構成される、器具。 - 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリがRFエネルギーを送達するように構成される、請求項16に記載の器具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが超音波エネルギーを送達するように構成される、請求項16に記載の器具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが前記ジェネレータと選択的に通信し、前記ジェネレータが、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリが単極伝送アセンブリを備えていることを前記ハンドルアセンブリが検出した場合に、前記少なくとも1つの伝送アセンブリから自動的に切断するように構成される、請求項16に記載の器具。
- 器具であって、
(a)1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリとともに使用されるために構成されるハンドルと、
(b)前記ハンドル内に包含されたジェネレータであって、前記1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリに電力を送達するように構成される、ジェネレータと、
(c)前記ハンドルと通信する識別装置であって、前記1つ又は2つ以上の伝送アセンブリのモダリティを決定するように構成される、識別装置と、を備える、器具。
