Claims (4)
- 電池モジュールケース内に複数の電池セルを配置した構成の電池モジュールにおいて、前記電池セルは、端子部が設置される端子面と、前記端子面から見て一方の側面に内圧の上昇時に他の部分に比べ膨らみ易い膨張面と、前記端子面から見て他方の側面に前記膨張面に比べ膨らみ難い非膨張面とを備える角形から成る電池セルケースを有し、前記膨張面と前記非膨張面とを対面に位置させて、少なくとも二個の前記電池セルを、それぞれ前記膨張面が前記電池モジュールケースの外側に向き、前記非膨張面が互いに向かい合うように配置されることを特徴とする電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールケースが、骨組み部材から成る中空部品であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 複数の前記電池セルは、前記端子面に対する前記膨張面および前記非膨張面の相対的位置を同一とする単一種類であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルケースの前記膨張面が、前記他の部分に使われている材料に比べ剛性の低い材料から成ることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
