Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a bit welding gun, for example, can be used for welding an aluminum bit used for recovering and repairing a dent recess formed on an outer plate of an automobile body formed of an aluminum plate or the like. Bit welding gun.
Aluminum is about twice as strong as mild steel, and when trying to obtain parts with the same strength in strength design, the use of aluminum can reduce the weight to nearly half that of mild steel materials. For this reason, in order to reduce the weight of the structural material (for example, a vehicle body) of a motor vehicle, the aluminum plate (or aluminum alloy plate) has come to be used as a vehicle body outer plate.
However, due to the difference in metal properties between aluminum and mild steel, there are the following problems in welding aluminum.
(1) Easy to oxidize during heating.
(2) There is an oxide film on the surface of the base material.
(3) poor heat concentration and low melting point,
(4) Easy to melt away,
(5) Easily distorted,
(6) Prone to blow holes.
(7) The tendency of weld cracking is great.
(8) Aluminum is an alloy, and it is necessary to use different filler materials.
Due to the physical properties of aluminum, the difficulty of thin-body welding of the body outer plate of an aluminum automobile body having a thickness of about 1 mm is extremely high.
Conventionally, as a stud welding gun suitable for use in recovering the original shape of a dent recess in an automobile body plate such as an automobile, a holder attached to the tip of a working rod of a welding gun is attached to an inert gas from an arc stud welder. A spark shield cylinder that is fitted in the main body and injects an inert gas into the main body to be shielded, and the spark shield cylinder is inserted into the operating rod. There has been proposed one constituted by a bit holder which is fitted and sandwiches a bit at the tip (Patent Document 1).
(1)ビットをガイドする手段(ビットガイド)が安定した状態に無いため、ビット溶着 作業が不安定である;
(2)溶着するビット先端が溶けて短くなると車体外板にビット先端が届かなくなるため ビットの再利用が図れない;
(3)ビット先端が放電時に融け短くなるとビット先端と板金面との間に距離が発生し溶 着位置が変わってしまいビットの溶着を確実に行なうことができなくなる;
However, with conventional stud welding guns,
(1) Bit welding work is unstable because the means for guiding the bit (bit guide) is not stable;
(2) If the tip of the bit to be welded melts and becomes short, the bit tip cannot reach the outer plate of the vehicle body, so the bit cannot be reused;
(3) If the bit tip melts and becomes shorter during discharge, a distance is generated between the bit tip and the sheet metal surface, and the welding position changes, making it impossible to reliably weld the bit;
Etc. had problems such as.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to form a bit guide that supports a welding gun by a pair of bit guides, so that even a person unfamiliar with the operation can obtain a stable operation. It is to provide a bit welding gun.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a bit welding gun having a degree of freedom in which the position of a bit guide can be freely selected by rotating a slide core.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a bit welding gun capable of leading the bit tip to an appropriate position in accordance with the depth of the sheet metal correction portion.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a bit welding gun that can reuse a shortened bit by sliding the slide core and guiding the bit guide to an appropriate position even when the shortened bit is reused. It is to provide.
Another object of the present invention is that the bit guide return mechanism is set on both the left and right sides of the slide core, so that the bit guide return mechanism is further configured with the bit tip in contact with the sheet metal surface before the bit is welded. By pushing the tip of the bit toward the sheet metal surface while resisting the return spring, the bit is pushed into the sheet metal surface side even if the bit melts and shortens during discharge, so the welding position of the bit and the sheet metal surface is The object is to provide a bit welding gun that can reliably weld a bit.
Yet another object of the present invention is that the injection gas can be evenly supplied to both sides of the bit, so that the bite formed by melting the tip of the bit appears almost evenly on the side of the bit and is not biased. It is an object of the present invention to provide a bit welding gun that is firmly fixed to a sheet metal surface.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a bit welding gun that has a rubber receiver at the tip of the bit guide and that can prevent the bit guide from shifting during operation and can stably weld the bit. It is in.

In the bit welding process, before the bit is welded, the bit tip is pushed into the sheet metal surface side while being in contact with the return spring constituting the bit guide return mechanism with the bit tip in contact with the sheet metal surface. In this state, the trigger switch is pressed and the bit is pulled up by the solenoid constituting the converter to cause arc discharge to melt the bit tip and the sheet metal surface. At the time of bit welding, the bit is pushed into the sheet metal surface and welded. That is, the bit guide return mechanism set on the left and right sides of the slide core pushes the bit into the sheet metal surface as much as the bit melts and shortens during discharge, and the welding position between the bit and the sheet metal surface does not change. In this way, the welding of the bits is surely performed.
When the switch is turned on, the solenoid is energized to retract the retracting portion, and at the same time, the hollow shaft, the bit holder and the bit are retracted. Thereafter, when the excitation is released, the retracting portion is returned to the original position by the solenoid return spring.
The present invention is configured as described above and has the following effects.
(1) Since the bit guide that supports the welding gun is composed of a pair of bit guides, even a person unfamiliar with the operation can obtain a stable operation and easily perform the welding operation of the bit. Even when the bits are welded in parallel to the required sheet metal correction part, the bit guide does not interfere with the welding work, and a smooth bit welding work is guaranteed.
(2) Since the slide core is rotated, the position of the bit guide can be freely selected by rotating the slide core.
(3) Even when the sheet metal correcting part is deep, the slide core is moved along the slide guide against the slide spring, the slide core is positioned by the positioning means, and the height of the bit tip held by the bit guide is increased. Since the height position can be adjusted, the tip of the bit can be guided to an appropriate position according to the depth of the sheet metal correction section.
(4) Even when the shortened bit is reused, the shortened bit can be reused by sliding the slide core and guiding the bit guide to an appropriate position.
(5) Since the bit guide return mechanism is set on both the left and right sides of the slide core, the bit guide return mechanism is further resisted against the return spring that constitutes the bit guide return mechanism with the bit tip in contact with the sheet metal surface before the bit is welded. However, if the bit tip is pushed into the sheet metal surface side, the bit is pushed into the sheet metal surface side even if the bit melts and becomes shorter during discharge, so the welding position of the bit and the sheet metal surface does not change and the bit is welded. It can be done reliably.
(6) Since the injection gas can be evenly supplied to both sides of the bit, the bit pool is firmly fixed to the sheet metal surface because the puddle formed by melting the tip of the bit appears almost evenly on the side of the bit and is not biased ( Welded).
(7) The bit guide is provided with a rubber receiver at the tip of the bit guide, and the bit guide is less likely to be displaced during welding.
Hereinafter, examples of the bit welding gun according to the present application will be described with reference to the drawings, in which an aluminum bit is used as the bit.
The bit welding gun pulls up and discharges the bit in the bit welding process to melt the bit tip and the sheet metal surface, and returns the bit to the sheet metal surface for welding. The bit guide return mechanism supports the upper and lower sides of the bit with a bit guide so that the welding position of the bit and the sheet metal surface does not change, so that the bit can be welded reliably and stably.

(Operation procedure for welding the
