Abstract
【解決手段】骨または脊柱に固定されるべき軸部2と、頭部3と、軸部2をロッドに接続するために頭部3を受ける受部4とを備える骨固定装置を提供する。軸部2と頭部3とは別個の部品である。頭部3は、円筒状の内面を有するボア3と、内面上に設けられたリング状の溝3と、頭部3の内面から外面30まで延在する少なくとも1つのスリット35とを含む。軸部2は、骨または脊柱に固定される第1部分21と、円筒状の外面を有し自由端27に隣接する第2部分23とを含む。突起7が円筒状の外面に設けられ,軸部2の円筒状の第2部分23が頭部のボア31に挿入されると、突起が頭部3のリング状の溝34に係合する。

Description
本発明のさらなる限定は、従属項に規定される。
図1から図4を参照して、第1の実施例について説明する。図2の分解図に見られるように、第1の実施例に係る骨固定装置1は、軸部2と、軸部2とは別個に設けられた頭部3と、受部4と、加圧要素5とを備える。さらに、第1の実施例ではリング7が設けられる。これについては以下に詳細に述べる。
自由脚部45および46の内面には、第2端41に隣接して内側ねじ山47が設けられ、固定要素61が捩じ込まれて、U字型の凹部内にロッド60を固定する。本実施例では、内側ねじ山47は、長手方向の軸に垂直に配置されたねじ山側面を有する平坦なねじ山として設計されているが、ねじ山は他のいかなる適切なねじ山形状であってもよい。
動作の際、まず軸部2を捩じ込みツールと係合させることによって、骨または脊柱に捩じ込むことができる。
図6から図9を参照して、第2の実施例を説明する。第2の実施例は、軸部および頭部の構造が第1の実施例と異なる。受部4および加圧要素5は第1の実施例と同一であり、ここでは説明しない。図6から図9では、受部4および加圧要素5を省略する。

多軸骨固定装置のさらなる変形例において、軸部は第1の実施例の軸部2と同様に形成され、第2部分23の円筒状の外面に溝24を設ける。第1の実施例に対し、リング7は省略され、頭部3の円筒状のボア31における溝34の代わりに、円筒状のボア31よりも直径が小さいリング状の突起を円筒状のボア31内に一体に形成する。軸部2を円筒状
のボア31に挿入すると、このリング状の突起が軸部2の溝24と係合する。

- 骨固定装置であって、
骨または脊柱に固定されるべき軸部(2,102,202)と、
頭部(3,103,203)と、
軸部(2,102,202)をロッドに接続するために頭部(3,103,203)を受ける受部(4)とを備え、
前記軸部(2,102,202)および頭部(3,103,203)は別個の部品であり、
頭部(3,103,203)は、円筒状の内面を有するボア(31,131)と、内面に設けられたリング状の溝(34,134,234)と、内面から頭部(3,103,203)の外面(30,130,230)まで延在する少なくとも1つのスリット(35,135,235)とを含み、
軸部(2,102,202)は、骨または脊柱に固定される第1部分(21,121,221)と、円筒状の外面を有し自由端(27,127,227)に隣接する第2部分(23,123,223)とを含み、
突起(7,107)が円筒状の外面に設けられ、軸部(2,102,202)の円筒状の第2部分(23,123,223)が頭部のボア(31,131,231)に挿入されると、突起が頭部(3,103,203)のリング状の溝(34,134,234)に係合する、骨固定装置。 - 軸部(2,102,202)の円筒状の外面上の突起(7,107)はリング状である、請求項1に記載の骨固定装置。
