Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable adhesive bandage which mainly adheres to a medical instrument and a skin surface, specifically a stretchable adhesive bandage used for a medical field, a hygiene field or the like which is used in a bent region or a curved region, fixing the medical instrument (fixing a catheter or the like) and protecting an affected region from being easily exposed to water, or the like.SOLUTION: In a stretchable adhesive bandage, an adhesive layer and a release liner are successively laminated on a single surface of a fabric substrate and are wound into a roll (but, a stretchable adhesive bandage for fixing an intubation tube is excluded). When the release liner is removed from the stretchable adhesive bandage, the stretchable adhesive bandage has a width direction elongation at a constant load higher than a longitudinal direction elongation at the constant load, and has the longitudinal direction elongation of 22-42% under the load condition of 0.5 N/5 mm width.

Description

The present invention mainly relates to a stretchable adhesive bandage to be attached to a medical instrument or a skin surface, and more specifically, is a stretchable adhesive bandage used in the medical field, the sanitary field, etc. It is intended to provide a stretchable adhesive bandage that can be used to fix the skin (catheter fixation, etc.), protect the affected area that easily gets wet.

In general, adhesive bandages that are used in the medical field and hygiene field and are used on the skin surface are those with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on the surface of the cloth base. Has used an adhesive bandage using a non-stretchable substrate. On the other hand, when affixing to a site where the skin surface expands or contracts such as a bent part or a curved part, it is necessary to fix the affixed part and appropriately follow the movement of the skin. An adhesive bandage using is used.

(特許文献1参照) The elastic adhesive bandage actually marketed as the latter elastic adhesive bandage has a stretchability in the length direction but does not have a stretchability in the width direction, or a substrate having a slight stretchability. Most of them are used. When these conventional elastic adhesive bandages are applied to a medical device or skin surface, the adhesive bandage is applied with an appropriate extension in the length direction, so that the adhesive bandage after application will return to its original length. Thus, reliable fixing can be performed in balance with the skin adhesive force for fixing the adhesive to the skin surface. (See Patent Document 1)

However, when using adhesive bandages that are stretchable only in the length direction, especially when a medical device such as a catheter is affixed and fixed, the medical device must be securely fixed and the movement of the skin surface is moderate. Must follow. However, if the stretchability in the width direction is small, the adhesive bandage may peel off or fall off as a result of not following the movement. In addition, the skin surface is stretched and wrinkled, so that the tensile stress caused by the adhesive bandage is relieved, but when using an adhesive bandage that does not stretch easily, the movement of the skin at the application site is restricted. Excessive stress is applied to the skin around the application site, and there is a concern that fogging and water bubbles may occur when applied for a long time.

As a result of intensive studies in order to solve the problems of the conventional stretchable adhesive bandages, the present inventors have determined that the fabric base material constituting the stretchable adhesive bandage extends in both the length direction and the width direction. In addition, the above problem can be solved by making the constant load elongation in the width direction larger than the constant load elongation in the length direction and making the elongation in the length direction a relatively small range of elongation. As a result, the present invention has been completed.

That is, the present invention is an elastic adhesive bandage in which an adhesive layer and a release liner are sequentially laminated on one side of a cloth base material and wound in a roll shape (however, excluding an elastic adhesive bandage for fixing an intubation tube) The adhesive bandage from which the release liner has been peeled has a constant load elongation in the width direction larger than the constant load elongation in the length direction and a load condition in which the elongation in the length direction is 0.5 N / 5 mm width. The elastic adhesive bandage is characterized by being 22 to 42%.

According to the stretchable adhesive bandage of the present invention, the constant load elongation in the width direction is larger than the constant load elongation in the length direction, and the elongation in the length direction is 0.5 N / 5 mm. Since it is set to ˜42%, it sufficiently follows the movement in all directions of the skin surface to be applied, and is less likely to cause skin disorders such as fog and water bubbles. Furthermore, even when fixing a medical instrument such as a catheter, it is not only securely fixed, but also can follow the movement of the skin surface appropriately, so that the adhesive bandage does not easily peel off or fall off. To demonstrate. In addition, since a cloth base material is used, it has excellent breathability, hardly causes skin damage, and when a cloth base material obtained from a low water-absorbing fiber is used, the fiber itself does not absorb water, so that a water repellent effect can be imparted. Therefore, it is also effective for use in affected areas where water leaks easily during bathing.

The stretchable pressure-sensitive adhesive bandage of the present invention has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side of a cloth substrate, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer surface is covered and protected with a release liner. It is wound.

The cloth base material constituting the stretchable adhesive bandage of the present invention has stretchability in the length direction and width direction, but unlike the conventionally provided adhesive bandages, the length direction and width direction. It has the omnidirectional stretchability that expands and contracts, but is characterized in that the stretchability in the width direction is larger than the stretchability in the length direction. Specifically, in the form of an adhesive bandage in which an adhesive layer is formed on one side of a cloth base material, the elongation in the width direction under a constant load condition is larger than the elongation in the length direction, and is 0.5 N / 5 mm. The elongation in the length direction under the condition of the width load is 22 to 42%, preferably 22 to 30%. When the elongation in the length direction is less than 22%, when applied to the skin, there is a tendency that the tension feeling accompanying the movement of the skin becomes strong, and when it exceeds 42%, the extubation length tends to exceed 10 mm. Since it shows, it becomes difficult to exhibit the effect of this invention.

In the present invention, the elongation in the width direction needs to be larger than the elongation in the length direction. Specifically, it is in the range of 22 to 120% under a 0.5 N / 5 mm width load condition, preferably It is desirable to set it as 22 to 80%.

Furthermore, it is preferable that the elongation in breaking direction is larger in the width direction than in the length direction, not under the constant load condition, and the breaking elongation (maximum elongation) is 200 to 600% in the width direction and long. It is preferable to adjust to a value of about 100 to 200% in the vertical direction. The breaking strength is adjusted to have a strength of 5 to 50 N / 5 mm width in the width direction and 5 to 50 N / 5 mm width in the length direction from the viewpoint of durability and operability with respect to the load applied to the adhesive bandage during use. It is preferable to do.

The cloth base material in the stretchable adhesive bandage of the present invention is not limited to a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a non-woven fabric, or the like, but a knitted fabric is used to give the specific stretchability that is a feature of the present invention. It is preferable to use it. In addition, as the knitted fabric, knitted fabrics made of tricot knitted fabrics including tricot knitted fabrics, raschel knitted fabrics, and Milanese knitted fabrics, and knitted fabrics including flat knitted fabrics and circular knitted fabrics can be used. From the viewpoint of adjusting the stretchability in the vertical direction, it is preferable to use Yokomeria.

The material of the warp and weft constituting the fabric base material is not particularly limited, and fibers made of polyester, polyurethane, nylon, vinylon, polyethylene, polypropylene, cotton, etc. can be used. In order to impart water repellency, it is preferable to use polyester, nylon, vinylon, polyethylene, and polypropylene, which are low water-absorbing fibers. Particularly, it is preferable to use polyester fibers because they have low water absorption and high mechanical strength. Is.

Further, the thickness of the fiber as the warp or weft is 100 denier or less, preferably 50 denier or less, from the viewpoint of air permeability and stretchability imparted to the fabric base material, maintaining mechanical strength and adequate water transporting ability. From the viewpoint of adhesion between the cloth base material and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, it is preferably 5 denier or more. In addition, although the thickness of a cloth base material is not limited, it is desirable to adjust to thickness of 10-150 micrometers from the point of sticking operativity and prevention of discomfort, Preferably it is about 20-75 micrometers.

In the stretchable adhesive bandage of the present invention, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side of the cloth base has sufficient adhesive strength to be adhesively fixed to a medical device or skin surface, and the stretchability or skin surface of the cloth base. It has an adhesive force that can sufficiently follow the movement of the film. Specifically, it is desirable to exhibit an adhesive force of 2 to 6 N / 20 mm width, preferably 3 to 5 N / 20 mm width in an adhesive strength test for a bakelite plate at room temperature.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive exhibiting such adhesive force is not particularly limited, and acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, natural rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, synthetic rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, silicone-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, vinyl ether-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the like can be used. Of these, it is preferable to use an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive because of easy adjustment of the adhesive properties and low skin irritation. Specifically, (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester as a main component monomer, a copolymerizable monomer is copolymerized therewith, and if necessary, chemical crosslinking with various crosslinking agents, electron beam, It is preferable to use an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that has been physically cross-linked by irradiation with ultraviolet rays or the like.

As the (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester as the main component monomer, a (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester having an alkyl group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms is in the range of 40 to 99% by weight, preferably 40 to 60% by weight. Examples of the copolymerizable monomer include a carboxyl group-containing monomer such as (meth) acrylic acid, a hydroxyl group-containing monomer such as (meth) acrylic acid 2-hydroxyethyl ester, ( In addition to alkoxyl group-containing monomers such as (meth) acrylic acid 2-methoxyethyl ester, acid amide group-containing monomers such as 2-vinylpyrrolidone, vinyl acetate and amino group-containing monomers One or more can be appropriately selected and copolymerized in the range of 1 to 60% by weight.

The thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side of the cloth substrate is preferably determined appropriately in consideration of the followability to the skin, the fixing property, etc., for example, 10 to 180 μm, preferably 15 to 150 μm. More preferably, it is desirable to set to about 20 to 80 μm. Further, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be provided on the entire surface of the cloth base material, or may be partially provided in a dot shape, a stripe shape, a pattern shape, or the like. When it is provided in a strip shape, it is not particularly limited as long as a space functioning as an air passage is secured, but examples thereof include a straight shape, a wave shape, a mountain shape, a sawtooth shape, and a combination of these. . Among these, the corrugated shape is preferable from the viewpoints of securing the skin adhesive force and preventing the edge portion from being squeezed.

The stretchable adhesive bandage of the present invention is obtained by laminating a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of a cloth base material as described above, and laminating a release liner on the surface of this pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to cover and protect the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface. Delivered in a roll.

As the release liner, those generally used for medical pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes affixed to the skin can be used. Specifically, the surface of high-quality paper, glassine paper, parchment paper, or the like is coated with a release agent having a release performance such as silicone resin or fluororesin, or high-quality paper is anchored with resin, or polyethylene The surface of the base material laminated with a resin or the like can be used in which a release agent having a release performance such as silicone resin or fluororesin is coated.

In addition, it is preferable to put a printing line in the release liner at a predetermined interval (for example, an interval of 5 cm, for example) because it can be quickly cut to a required length with scissors or the like.

The present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the following examples. However, the present invention is not limited to these examples, and various applications are possible without departing from the technical idea of the present invention. . In the following, “%” indicates “% by weight”.
