上記ラチスブーム及びラチスジブの分解時、ラチスブームの上部ブーム及びブームヘッドをラチスブームの他の部位から外し、地面から所定高さに水平に倒伏した状態に配置するとともに、上記ブームヘッドと下部ジブとがジブフットピンを介して連結された状態を維持しつつ上記ラチスジブの下部ジブをラチスジブの他の部位から外す工程と、
次いで、上記下部ジブの先端側を補助クレーンにより吊り上げてその中心線を略水平な状態にし、この状態で側方から見た平面視で上記ブームヘッドの先端及び下部ジブとの間に略三角形状の空間を形成する位置に配置した棒状の連結部材によりブームヘッドと下部ジブとを連結する工程と、
続いて、上記上部ブームの地面側で上部ブームとブームヘッドとを連結するピン結合を解除する工程と、
