Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の角形二次電池(C1)は、角形の電池缶(1)と、電池缶(1)の開口部(1a)を封止する電池蓋(6)とを有している。そして、電池蓋(6)は、電池缶(1)内に突出して電池缶(1)の側壁部(21)の内面に対向し側壁部(21)の周方向に沿って全周に亘って連続する凸部(51)を有している。そして、電池蓋(6)は、凸部(51)よりも外側で電池缶(1)の側壁部(21)の上端に当接する当接部(52)の蓋厚さ(Tu)が、凸部(51)よりも内側で開口部(1a)を閉塞する閉塞部(54)の蓋厚さ(Tt)の半分よりも厚くかつ閉塞部(54)の蓋厚さTtよりも薄い厚さを有している。

Claims (1)
- 正極体と負極体とをセパレータを介して扁平形状に捲回した発電体と、該発電体を収容し、開口部を有する角形の電池缶と、該電池缶の開口部を封止する蓋と、を有する角形二次電池であって、
前記蓋は、前記開口部と対向する面に、前記開口部を閉塞するように拡がる閉塞部と、該閉塞部よりも前記蓋の外周端部側に設けられた溝部と、該溝部よりも前記蓋の外周端部側に設けられた凸部と、該凸部よりも前記蓋の外周端部側に設けられて前記電池缶の側壁部の上端に当接する当接部と、を有し、
前記当接部における蓋厚さが、前記閉塞部における蓋厚さよりも薄く、かつ前記閉塞部における蓋厚さの半分よりも厚くなっており、
前記溝部における蓋厚さが、前記当接部における蓋厚さより厚くなっていることを特徴とする角形二次電池。
