Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an optical element, and more particularly, to an optical element capable of suppressing generation of harmful light that causes ghost and flare.
In recent years, the performance of imaging optical systems such as imaging devices has been improved, and the processing accuracy of lenses (optical elements) constituting the imaging optical system has also been improved. For this reason, recent lenses are processed with high accuracy even outside the optically effective area (for example, the area within the effective diameter of the lens surface) (for example, the edge portion, hereinafter, the non-optically effective area). When the light incident on the lens enters this non-optical effective area, it is reflected in a complex manner inside the imaging optical system and becomes harmful light (stray light), which is one of the causes of so-called ghost or flare in the image.
Therefore, in order to prevent image quality degradation due to ghosts and flares, for example, the non-optical effective area can be blocked by blocking the light that is incident and reflected in the non-optical effective area, for example, by sanitizing or forming a rough surface. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
However, although the method of applying black ink to the non-optical effective area is simple, it is difficult to completely block the light incident on the non-optical effective area by the black ink film, and a part of it is reflected by the black ink film. May become harmful light. Even in the method of forming a rough surface, the rough surface alone cannot sufficiently scatter incident light, and a part of the light may be reflected and become harmful light. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an optical element that can sufficiently suppress the generation of harmful light by a simple technique.
As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have solved the above problems by providing the following light-shielding layer and low refractive index layer in the non-optically effective region of an optical element such as a lens. .
The optical element according to the present invention is an optical element having an optically effective area that transmits an effective light beam that contributes to image formation, and a non-optically effective area outside thereof, on the non-optically effective area of the substrate, A light-shielding layer opaque to incident light and a low-refractive index layer having a refractive index of 1.15 to 1.35 are stacked in this order.
In the optical element according to the present invention, it is preferable that the low refractive index layer includes hollow silica particles having a hollow portion in an outer shell portion made of silica, and the hollow silica particles are bound by a binder.
In the optical element according to the present invention, the optical element includes a base layer in which one or more thin films made of a transparent material having a refractive index of 1.35 to 2.5 are stacked on the non-optical effective region of the base material. The light shielding layer and the low refractive index layer are preferably laminated.
In the optical element according to the present invention, the thin film disposed on the outermost surface of the base layer is preferably made of any one of inorganic oxides, inorganic fluorides, organosilanes, and organic resins.
In the optical element according to the present invention, the base layer is a multilayer film in which one or more thin films made of an inorganic transparent material having a refractive index of 1.35 to 2.5 are stacked below the thin film disposed on the outermost surface. It is preferable to become.
In the optical element according to the present invention, it is preferable that in the low refractive index layer, an outer surface of the hollow silica is covered with a binder, and a void is provided between the hollow silica particles bonded to each other.
In the optical element according to the present invention, the light-shielding layer is a light-absorbing layer that absorbs incident light, and an average extinction coefficient β of the light-shielding layer is preferably 1.0 × 10 4 m −1 or more.
In the optical element according to the present invention, the light shielding layer preferably has a refractive index of 1.4 to 1.8.
In the optical element according to the present invention, it is preferable that the low refractive index layer is provided on the optical effective region.
In the optical element according to the present invention, it is preferable that a functional layer is provided between the light shielding layer and the low refractive index layer or on the surface of the low refractive index layer.
The optical element according to the present invention is provided with a light-shielding layer opaque to incident light on a non-optically effective area outside the optically effective area of the substrate, and a refractive index of 1.15 to 1.35 on the light-shielding layer. Since the low refractive index layer is provided, it is possible to suppress the reflection of the light incident on the non-optical effective region by the low refractive index layer and to block the transmission of the incident light by the light shielding layer. It is possible to sufficiently suppress the generation of harmful light that causes flares and flares. In the present invention, a conventionally known black paint film can be used as the light shielding layer, and if the low refractive index layer is formed by a wet film formation method, the shape of the non-optical effective region is complicated. In addition, the film formability of the light shielding layer and the low refractive index layer can be improved. Therefore, according to the present invention, generation of harmful light can be sufficiently suppressed by a simple method.
Embodiments of an optical element according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows a concave meniscus lens as an example of the
In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a

The average light absorption coefficient β of the

(B)
Next, the binder will be described. As shown in FIG. 3, the low

(C)
In the present invention, it is preferable that a
(D) Volume ratio of

(F) Film thickness Moreover, it is preferable that the physical film thickness of the low-refractive-
(G) Film Forming Method Next, a film forming method for the low
Moreover, in this invention, after forming the said coating film, the
(3) Stacking Order In the present invention, these layers are stacked in the order of the
Further, the non-optical
(4)
Next, the
The
例えば、屈折率が当該範囲内の透明な無機材料として、SiOxNy/SiO2/SiOx/Al2O3/ZrO2とTiO2との混合物/La2O3とTiO2との混合物/SnO2/ZrO2/La2O3とAl2O3との混合物/Pr2O5/ITO(酸化インジウムスズ)/AZO(酸化亜鉛アルミニウム)などを挙げることができる。
As a material constituting the

Examples of the modified silicone include polyether-modified silicone, epoxy-modified silicone, amino-modified silicone, carboxy-modified silicone, mercapto-modified silicone, carbino-modified silicone, methacryl-modified silicone, and long-chain alkyl-modified silicone. Modified silicone modified at the terminal and side chain can be used. Furthermore, those obtained by polymerizing these straight silicones and / or modified silicones in an appropriate combination can also be used.
And as an organic resin, for example, epoxy resin, fluorine resin, silicone resin, polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, polyvinylidene chloride resin, polystyrene resin, polyvinyl acetate resin, acrylic resin, polyamide resin, polyacetal resin, A polycarbonate resin, a modified polyphenylene ether resin, a polybutylene terephthalate resin, a polyethylene terephthalate resin, a cyclic polyolefin resin, a liquid crystal polymer, or the like, or a monomer compound thereof can be used.
However, when the
(C) Film thickness In order to obtain an antireflection film having a wider band and lower reflection, the optical film thickness of each sub-layer is preferably 150 nm or less. When the optical film thickness of each sub-layer exceeds 150 nm, it is not preferable because it has a design with many unnecessary ripples and the average reflectance of the antireflection film cannot be kept low.

As described above, the antireflective film provided in the optically
In the
However, the above-described embodiment is an aspect of the present invention, and it is needless to say that the embodiment can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, in the above embodiment, the concave meniscus lens shown in FIG. 1 has been described as an example. However, the shape of the

Hereinafter, the display of symbols for each layer and the like is omitted.
As a substrate of the optical element, a lens made of S-LAH59 optical glass (refractive index n = 1.816) manufactured by OHARA INC. Was used. And the base layer which has a multilayer film structure was provided in the surface of this base material. Specifically, the underlayer was produced as follows. First, a base layer was formed on the surface of the substrate by vacuum deposition using ARES1510 manufactured by Leybold Optics. The underlayer is composed of an Al 2 O 3 film (refractive index n = 1.63) and an SiO 2 film (n = 1.48) from the base material side, an SiO 2 film, an Al 2 O 3 film, and an SiO 2 film. A three-layer film laminated on the substrate in this order. Each film constituting the underlayer was an ultrathin film, and each physical film thickness was set to 25 nm of the SiO 2 film, 30 nm of the Al 2 O 3 film, and 25 nm of the SiO 2 film in the order of lamination.
Next, an inner surface antireflection film was produced on one side of the substrate as follows. First, a coating made of an inner surface antireflection coating (product name: GT-7, refractive index n = 1.4, extinction coefficient β = 1.0 × 10 6 m −1 ) on one surface of the substrate. A film was formed. Thereafter, the coating film was heated by heating at 180 ° C. for 1 hour in a clean oven. As a result, the coating film was completely cured to obtain a light shielding layer (inner surface antireflection coating layer).
Subsequently, the surface of the light shielding layer is subjected to RIE treatment (reactive ion etching treatment) with oxygen using RIE-300NR manufactured by Samco Corporation, and the wettability of the surface of the light shielding layer is improved. A low refractive index layer was formed thereon. A coating liquid prepared by stirring, dissolving, and preparing hollow silica particles having a particle size of about 60 nm and an acrylic resin as a binder component in a solvent mainly composed of propylene glycol monomethyl ether and propylene glycol when forming the low refractive index layer. Using a commercially available spin coater, a film was formed by spin coating. Thereafter, the coating film was heated in a clean oven at 180 ° C. for 1 hour. As a result, a low refractive index layer in which hollow silica particles were bound with an acrylic resin (binder) was obtained. The refractive index of the low refractive index layer was 1.20. As described above, an inner surface antireflection film having the form shown in FIG. 4 was prepared. This was designated as

(1) Antireflection properties The surface of the inner surface antireflection film was irradiated with light in a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm, and the specular reflection spectral reflectance of each inner surface antireflection film was measured. When measuring the spectral reflectance, a spectrophotometer U4000 manufactured by Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation was used. Moreover, when the comparative sample 1-1 and the comparative sample 2-1 were irradiated with light from the other surface side (glass surface side) of the substrate, the spectral reflectance of each inner surface antireflection film was measured. In addition, the said spectral reflectance when light is irradiated to the surface of an inner surface antireflection film represents the spectral reflectance of the light which directly entered into the non-optical effective area | region of the base material. Moreover, the said spectral reflectance when light is reflected from the other surface side of a base material represents the spectral reflectance of the light which injected into the non-optical effective area | region from the inside of a base material.
(2) Peeling resistance The peeling resistance of each inner surface antireflection film was evaluated by the following method. First, a tape made by Nichiban Co., Ltd. (product name: No. 405) is applied to the surface of the inner antireflection film, and the tape is firmly rubbed with a finger so that the inner antireflection film can be seen through. Adhered to. Then, when 1-2 minutes passed after the tape was attached, the tape was held at a right angle with respect to the inner surface antireflection film surface and peeled off at once.

FIGS. 8 to 10 show the measurement results of the spectral reflectances of Example 1 to Example 3 and Comparative Sample 1-1 to Comparative Sample 1-3. In FIGS. 11-14, the measurement result of the spectral reflectance of the implementation sample 4-the
FIG. 15 shows the measurement result of the spectral reflectance when the comparative sample 2-1 and the comparative sample 1-1 are irradiated with light from the surface of the inner surface antireflection film. As shown in FIG. 15, when the comparative sample 2-1 and the comparative sample 1-1 were compared, it was confirmed that the spectral reflectance of the comparative sample 2-1 was lower than the spectral reflectance of the comparative sample 1-1. .
Next, FIG. 16 shows the measurement results of the spectral reflectance when the comparative sample 2-1 and the comparative sample 1-1 are irradiated with light from the other surface side of the substrate. As shown in FIG. 16, when the comparative sample 2-1 and the comparative sample 1-1 were compared, it was confirmed that the spectral reflectance of the comparative sample 2-1 was increased as compared with the comparative sample 1-1. That is, in the comparative sample 2-1, in which the order in which the light shielding layer and the low refractive index layer are laminated on the base material is reversed to that of the
(2) Peeling resistance Table 1 shows the results of evaluating the peeling resistance of the inner surface antireflection films prepared in each Example and Comparative Example 2. In Table 1, “◯” indicates that no film peeling was observed before or after the evaluation test, or that the tape remained without leaving the film. That is, “◯” indicates that the peel resistance of the inner surface antireflection film with respect to the substrate is excellent. Further, “x” indicates that film peeling occurred after the evaluation test, and the peel resistance of the inner surface antireflection film to the substrate was low.
As shown in Table 1, peeling resistance of the inner surface antireflection films of Examples 1 to 7 in which these layers are laminated in the order of the light shielding layer and the low refractive index layer on the base material or the base layer is sufficient. Met. On the other hand, in the comparative sample 2-1, in which these layers are laminated in the order of the low refractive index layer and the light shielding layer on the base material or the base layer, the low refractive index is provided between the base material or the base layer and the light shielding layer. It was confirmed that the adhesiveness was remarkably lowered by the presence of the rate layer.
As described above, by laminating these layers in the order of the light-shielding layer and the low refractive index layer on the non-optical effective region, the light directly incident on the non-optical effective region, the inside of the substrate to the non-optical effective region The reflectivity of any incident light can be lowered, and by incorporating the optical element according to the present invention into the optical system, reflection of light incident on the non-optical effective area is suppressed, causing ghost and flare. It is considered that the generation of harmful light can be sufficiently suppressed.
In the present invention, a light-shielding layer opaque to incident light is provided on the non-optically effective area outside the optically effective area of the substrate, and a low refractive index having a refractive index of 1.15 to 1.35 is provided on the light-shielding layer. Since the layer is provided, it is possible to prevent the light incident on the non-optical effective region from being reflected by the low refractive index layer, and to block the incident light from being transmitted by the light shielding layer, such as ghost and flare. It is possible to sufficiently suppress the generation of harmful light.
