Abstract
【解決手段】半径方向に拡張可能な区間を伴う取り付けデバイスが開示される。取り付けデバイスは、螺旋状ネジ山を有し、例えば、骨内への取り付けデバイスの螺入を促進することができる。また、その使用方法も開示される。取り付けデバイスは、皮質骨によって実質的に囲繞される海綿骨内に拡張可能な区間を半径方向に拡張するように位置付けることができる。半径方向に拡張可能な区間を伴う取り付けデバイスが開示される。取り付けデバイスは、螺旋状ネジ山を有し、例えば、骨内への取り付けデバイスの螺入を促進することができる。また、その使用方法も開示される。取り付けデバイスは、皮質骨によって実質的に囲繞される海綿骨内に拡張可能な区間を半径方向に拡張するように位置付けることができる。

本発明は、概して、骨に取り付けるためのデバイスおよび方法に関する。
