Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rolling method and rolling equipment for channel steel for manufacturing a channel steel having flanges at both ends of a web by rolling.
The channel steel is a steel having a U-shaped cross section (see FIG. 1), and is used for, for example, a column or beam of a building structure. A general grooved steel is provided with a taper in which the thickness becomes thinner toward the tip of the flange, but a parallel flanged grooved steel having a uniform thickness without a taper on the flange is also manufactured. Parallel flange channel steel can be used as a square steel pipe column which is a column material of a high-rise building or a super-high-rise building by welding two pieces face to face to form a square cross section.
In many cases, channel steel is manufactured by hot rolling, and it is often used to heat a steel piece with a rectangular cross-section, etc., and then roll it with a number of hole molds to finish it into a cross-section shaped steel. ing. However, in such a method for producing a grooved steel using hole rolling, the radius of the hole roll that contacts the grooved steel varies depending on the position in the width direction, and therefore the portion where the difference between the rolled material and the roll peripheral speed is large. Occurs, and the surface quality is likely to deteriorate. Further, it is necessary to provide a taper with a thinner flange thickness, and it is difficult to manufacture a grooved steel with a constant flange thickness.
Therefore, in order to solve these problems, Patent Document 1 devises a rolling method and rolling equipment using a universal rolling mill that is applied to hot rolling of H-section steel. This technique is to produce channel steel using the universal rolling
Further,
According to the technique described in Patent Document 1, since the difference in speed between the roll peripheral speed and the material to be rolled can be reduced, the surface quality is remarkably improved. Furthermore, since the rolling is performed in the same manner as the H-section steel, it is not necessary to taper the flange thickness, and it becomes possible to manufacture a channel steel having a constant flange thickness up to the tip. Further, according to the technique described in
By the way, as shown in FIG. 10, in the universal rolling of the grooved steel using a general
With respect to these problems, in Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 8, a V-
On the other hand, in
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-described conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a grooved steel and rolling equipment that can improve dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
The method of rolling a grooved steel according to the present invention includes rolling a grooved steel by rolling a rolled steel by rolling down a web of a rolled material roughly formed into a U-shaped cross section and flanges bent at both ends of the web. A method of using a first universal rolling mill to reduce the thickness of the entire flange and the thickness of the web excluding both ends of the rolled material; and a second universal rolling mill. The rolling is carried out by performing the step of reducing the thickness of the flange excluding the vicinity of the boundary corner with the web and the thickness of the entire web, and the step of reducing the flange width using an edger rolling mill at least once. A rolling process for making a material a desired cross-sectional shape, and finish rolling to obtain a grooved steel having a target product cross-sectional shape by performing finish rolling on the rolled material formed into a desired cross-sectional shape by the rolling process Execute the process It is characterized in.
Moreover, the rolling equipment for channel steel according to the present invention is a channel steel for rolling channel steel by rolling down a web of rolled material roughly formed into a U-shaped cross section and flanges bent at both ends of the web. A first universal rolling mill having a pair of upper and lower horizontal rolls for reducing the thickness of the web excluding both ends, and a pair of left and right hard rolls for reducing the entire outer surface of the flange, A second universal rolling mill having a pair of upper and lower horizontal rolls for reducing the thickness and a pair of left and right hard rolls for reducing the thickness of the flange excluding the vicinity of the boundary corner with the web, and a roll for reducing the flange width It has a rolling mill group provided with one or more edger rolling mills.
According to such a method and apparatus, while reducing the thickness of the web and the flange with a plurality of universal rolling mills, the boundary corner portion (outer surface corner portion) between the web and the flange is different from each other, that is, from the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. By rolling down alternately, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of bulging, dents, and lap wrinkles of the web, and to manufacture a channel steel having a uniform thickness and a good cross-sectional shape. In addition, since the thickness of the web and the flange can be reduced by a plurality of universal rolling mills, the number of passes to be reciprocally rolled in the intermediate rolling process can be reduced, and the rolling efficiency can be greatly improved.
In the rolling method, in the rolling step, each step is performed using a step using the first universal rolling mill, a step using the second universal rolling mill, and a step using the edger rolling mill. One pass may be performed once in a predetermined order, and rolling for one or more passes may be performed. Thereby, a rolling material can be smoothly shape | molded to the desired cross-sectional shape suitable for rolling in a subsequent finish rolling process.
According to the present invention, while the thickness of the web and the flange is reduced by a plurality of universal rolling mills, the boundary corner portion (outer surface corner portion) between the web and the flange is alternately reduced from the vertical direction and the horizontal direction to thereby reduce the outer surface. It is possible to manufacture a grooved steel having good surface quality and dimensional accuracy by preventing dents generated inside the corner portion.
Hereinafter, the rolling method of the channel steel according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings by giving preferred embodiments in relation to rolling equipment for performing this method.
In order to solve the
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of a cross-sectional shape of a
FIG. 2 is a configuration diagram showing an example of the rolling
In the rolling
First, the rough
Next, the intermediate rolling mill group (rolling mill group) 22 further rolls the rough shaped steel slab formed by the rough
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional explanatory view showing a state in which the rolled
As shown in FIG. 3, the first rough universal rolling mill (first universal rolling mill) 16 includes a pair of upper and lower
In the first rough
Further, the
At this time, in order to reduce friction between the upper
As shown in FIG. 3, in the first rough
In the first rough
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional explanatory view showing a state in which the rolled
図4に示すように、エッジャ圧延機18は、上下一対のロール32a、32b(以下、「上ロール32a」、「下ロール32b」ともいう)を備える。
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The
As shown in FIG. 4, the outer peripheries of the
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional explanatory view showing a state in which the rolled
As shown in FIG. 5, the second rough universal rolling mill (second universal rolling mill) 20 includes a pair of upper and lower
In the second rough
In order to effectively reduce the
Further, the
By the way, in the rolling method of the said
In the intermediate
Next, the finishing
FIG. 6 is an explanatory cross-sectional view showing a state in which the rolled
As shown in FIG. 6, the finishing
In the finishing
In the finishing universal rolling process, the thickness of both the
The rolling method of the
First, with respect to the rolled material (rough shaped steel piece) 26 roughly formed into a U-shaped cross section by the rough
Next, by using the finishing
Note that the rolling equipment for carrying out the rolling method according to the present embodiment is not limited to the equipment layout, the number of rolling mills, and the like of the rolling
As described above, according to the rolling method of the channel steel according to the present embodiment, the
Further, the rolling
Therefore, according to such a rolling method and the rolling
Next, the result of the experiment which rolled the grooved
Example 1
As an example, using the rolling
As the rough
First, after heating a bloom (material steel piece) having a rectangular cross section with a thickness of 250 mm and a width of 490 mm, the rough
The rolled material (coarse rolled material) having a U-shaped cross section was subjected to three-pass reciprocating rolling in the intermediate
Finally, the finishing
(Comparative Example 1)
As a comparative example, parallel flange channel steel having the same product dimensions was rolled using a (second)
First, a rolled material (coarse rolled material) having a U-shaped cross section was formed by rough rolling in the same manner as in Example 1. Thereafter, reciprocal rolling using the first rough
As described above, by using the rolling method and the rolling
