本明細書で開示する本発明システムは鉱石から金属を抽出するための改良されたシステムに関する。

(2)工程用水は利用可能な最高の管理技術(BACT)で処理し廃棄して、地域の下水システムへの放出を許可される。
(3)電源はより効率的に使用されるように調整されている。
Claims (4)
- (a)プラズマトーチが非転移モードで稼働する場合、前記プラズマトーチの進入を受け入れるための第一開口部を有する室を有する反応炉であって、
前記トーチは能動的端部と非能動的端部を有し、
前記トーチは、能動的端部が前記室の内部方向にかつ前記第一開口部から離れるように延びる方向で、前記第一開口部を通過するように動作可能に配置され、前記非能動的端部は前記第一開口部に隣接した室内部に固定され、
前記室は更に鉱石と搬送ガスの進入のために、前記第一開口部の近くの第二開口部を備え、該第二開口部は前記室への細い経路を有しており、かつ前記第二開口部は前記第一開口部の近くにあり、鉱石と搬送ガスのための該経路は、プラズマトーチの主要軸と同じ軸に沿っており、
前記室は高周波数の交流電流を流す誘導コイルによって半径方向に囲まれており、その結果、鉱石が反応炉を通過する時に鉱石をかき回す磁場を形成し、誘導コイルは反応炉の温度制御に助力するように構成されている反応炉と;
(b)微粒子の鉱石を捕捉するために複数のフィルタを有するバッグハウスと;
(c)前記反応炉とバッグハウスから出た有毒ガスを取り除くための濾過システムを有する排気システムと、
を備えていることを特徴とする鉱石を処理するシステム。 - 更に第二溶融システムを有する請求項1の鉱石を処理するシステム。
- 更に前記システムの温度とガスを継続的に監視して、有毒化学物質、ガスおよび水が環境に排出されるのを防止する入出力システムを有する請求項1の鉱石を処理するシステム。
- 請求項1のシステムを使用して鉱石を処理する方法であって、
(a)室から空気を吸引することと;
(b)プラズマトーチを点火することと;
(c)誘導コイルに交流電流を付加することと;
(d)供給鉱石と搬送ガスの混合物で反応室を充填することと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
