Claims (25)
- 電気コネクター組立体であって、
第2の細長いコネクターと並行して配列された第1の細長いコネクターと、
前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対する前記第1の細長いコネクターの移動を制御するように操作可能な調整機構と、を具備する電気コネクター組立体。 - 第1のスロットを有するコネクター本体を更に具備し、前記第1のスロットを通して前記第1の細長いコネクターが前記コネクター本体に接続する請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 第2のスロットを更に具備し、該第2のスロットを通して前記第2の細長いコネクターが前記コネクター本体に接続する請求項2に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記調整機構が、前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対する前記第1の細長いコネクターの移動を制御するためのばねを有する請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記調整機構が、前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対する前記第1の細長いコネクターの移動を制御するための歯車機構を有する請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- コネクター本体を更に具備し、前記調整機構が、ツール係合機構であって前記コネクター本体に取付けられると共に前記細長いコネクター間で並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対する前記第1の細長いコネクターの移動を制御するためのツールを受容するようなサイズ及び形状にされたツール係合機構を有する請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記第1の細長いコネクターに固定して接続された第1の部分と、前記第2の細長いコネクターに固定して接続された第2の部分と、を有するコネクター本体を更に具備し、前記調整機構が、前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを移動可能に接続する請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記調整機構が枢動連結部を有する請求項7に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記調整機構がばねを有する請求項7に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 前記第1の細長いコネクター及び前記第2の細長いコネクターが、12.7ミリメートル(0.50インチ)から38.1ミリメートル(1.50インチ)の間で調整可能な距離で離間された請求項1に記載の電気コネクター組立体。
- 双極性手術器具と、
該双極性手術器具を1又は複数の外科用コンソールに接続するように構成された電気コネクター組立体であって、
第2の細長いコネクターと並行して配列された第1の細長いコネクター及び
前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対する前記第1の細長いコネクターの移動を制御するように操作可能な調整機構を有する電気コネクター組立体と、を具備する電気手術システム。 - 前記双極性手術器具が、連結部によって前記電気コネクター組立体に分離可能に接続された請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 前記双極性手術器具が眼科手術器具である請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 前記調整機構がばねを具備する請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 前記調整機構が枢動連結部を具備する請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 前記電気コネクター組立体が、第1のスロットを備えるコネクター本体を更に有し、前記第1のスロットを通して前記第1の細長いコネクターが前記コネクター本体に移動可能に接続された請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 前記電気コネクター組立体が、コネクター本体を更に具備し、前記第1の細長いコネクターが前記コネクター本体に対して固定されると共に、前記第2の細長いコネクターが前記コネクター本体に対して移動可能である請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 電気コネクター組立体が、コネクター本体を更に有し、前記第1の細長いコネクターと前記第2の細長いコネクターとが共に前記コネクター本体に対して移動可能である請求項11に記載の電気手術システム。
- 双極性手術器具を選択することと、
該双極性手術器具との電気接続のために構成された第1の外科用コンソールであって、第1の間隔で離間された対のレセプタクルポートの第1のセットを有する第1の外科用コンソールを選択することと、
第2の細長いコネクターと並行して配列された第1の細長いコネクターと調整機構とを有する前記双極性手術器具及び前記第1の外科用コンソールを相互に連結するためのコネクター組立体を選択することと、
それぞれの前記細長いコネクターが前記第1のセットの前記レセプタクルポートの1つと同一直線上になるまで前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対して前記第1の細長いコネクターを移動させるように前記調整機構を操作することと、
前記双極性手術器具を前記第1の外科用コンソールに接続するために前記第1のセットの前記レセプタクルポートの1つへとそれぞれの前記細長いコネクターを挿入することと、を含む方法。 - 前記双極性手術器具を前記コネクター組立体に連結することを更に含む請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記細長いコネクターを前記第1の外科用コンソールの前記レセプタクルポートから取り外すことと、
前記双極性手術器具との電気接続のために構成された第2の外科用コンソールであって、前記第1の間隔とは異なる第2の間隔で離間された対のレセプタクルポートの第2のセットを有する第2の外科用コンソールを選択することと、
それぞれの前記細長いコネクターが前記第2のセットの前記レセプタクルポートの1つと同一直線上になるまで前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターに対して前記第1の細長いコネクターを移動させるように前記調整機構を操作することと、
前記双極性手術器具を前記第2の外科用コンソールに接続するために前記第2のセットの前記レセプタクルポートの1つへとそれぞれの前記細長いコネクターを挿入することと、を更に含む請求項19に記載の方法。 - 前記調整機構を操作することが、前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターへと前記第1の細長いコネクターを移動させるようにばねを圧縮することを含む請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記調整機構を操作することが、スロット内で少なくとも1つの前記細長いコネクターを移動させることを含む請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記調整機構を操作することが、前記細長いコネクター間で並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターへと前記第1の細長いコネクターを移動させるように枢動連結部を動かすことを含む請求項19に記載の方法。
- 調整ツールを選択することを更に含み、且つ、前記調整機構を操作することが、前記細長いコネクター間の並行した配列を維持しながら前記第2の細長いコネクターへと前記第1の細長いコネクターを移動させるように前記調整ツールでツール係合構造を動かすことを含む請求項19に記載の方法。
