Description
本出願は、2010年1月22日に出願された、「IMPACT CAM−DRIVEN TOOL TO REMOVE STUCK COMPRESSOR BLADES NON−DESTRUCTIVELY」という発明の名称の米国特許出願第61/297,393号の利益を主張し、同出願の内容全体は、本明細書に参照により組み込まれる。
Claims (20)
- タービンエンジンの翼ディスク構造体から差込み翼を取り除く方法であって、
前記差込み翼に隣接した前記翼ディスク構造体に一時的に取り付けられたハウジングに連結されたトルク受け構造体に入力トルクを与えるステップと、
前記トルク受け構造体が受けた前記入力トルクを、所望の方向の成分を含む衝撃力に変換するステップと、
前記差込み翼を前記翼ディスク構造体から取り除くために、前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけるステップと、
を含む方法。 - 入力トルクを与えるステップが、反復的な空気圧入力トルクを前記トルク受け構造体に与えるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 反復的な空気圧入力トルクを与えるステップが、半径方向軸の周りに衝撃銃を用いて反復的な空気圧入力トルクを与えるステップを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 入力トルクを与えるステップが、連続的な入力トルクを前記トルク受け構造体に与えるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 入力トルクを与えるステップが、前記翼根元部から半径方向外向きの位置でトルク受け構造体に入力トルクを与えるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記入力トルクを変換するステップが、非円形断面を含む部分を有する変換構造体を回転するステップを含み、前記変換構造体部分が回転すると、前記変換構造体部分と接触状態にある衝撃構造体を前記差込み翼の方に推し進める、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記取り除いた翼を前記翼ディスク構造体から半径方向外向きに持ち上げることによって、前記取り除いた翼を前記翼ディスク構造体から取り外すステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記入力トルクを与える前に、前記差込み翼が前記ハウジングに形成された開口に受け入れられるように、前記翼ディスク構造体へ半径方向内向きに前記ハウジングを移動することによる、前記ハウジングを組み立てるステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ハウジングを組み立てるステップが、前記ハウジングを前記翼ディスク構造体に一時的に固定するステップをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけるステップが、前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけるステップを含み、前記差込み翼の前記根元部が、前記差込み翼と前記翼ディスク構造体との間に半径方向の隙間が実質的に存在しないように、前記翼ディスク構造体と接触した状態にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけるステップが、前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけるステップを含み、前記差込み翼が、前記エンジンの長手軸に対してブローチ角で配設される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- タービンエンジンの差込み翼を取り除く装置であって、
取り除くべき差込み翼に隣接した翼ディスク構造体に一時的に固定可能なハウジングと、
前記トルク受け構造体を回転する入力トルクを受けるように適合された前記ハウジングに係合されたトルク受け構造体と、
前記トルク受け構造体から前記入力トルクを受け、前記入力トルクを、所望の方向の成分を含む衝撃力に変換可能な前記ハウジングに係合された変換構造体と、
前記変換構造体から前記衝撃力を受け、前記翼ディスク構造体から前記差込み翼を取り除くために前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけることが可能な前記ハウジングに係合された衝撃構造体と、
を備える装置。 - 前記ハウジングが、前記差込み翼が貫通する1つの開口を備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、隣接する翼間の前記翼ディスク構造体に前記ハウジングを一時的に固定するための取付け構造体をさらに備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記トルク受け構造体が、前記差込み翼の前記根元部から半径方向外向きの位置に設けられる、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記トルク受け構造体がカムシャフトを備え、前記変換構造体が、非円形断面を含む部分を有するカムローブを備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記カムローブ部分の少なくとも一部が楕円形断面を含む、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記衝撃構造体がリフタを備え、前記カムローブ部分を回転すると、前記リフタが前記差込み翼の前記根元部の方へ移動する、請求項16に記載の装置。
- タービンエンジンの差込み翼を取り除く装置であって、
取り除くべき差込み翼に隣接した翼ディスク構造体に一時的に固定可能なハウジングと、
カム構造体を回転し、入力トルクを受けるように適合された前記ハウジングに係合され、前記入力トルクを、軸方向の成分を含む衝撃力に変換可能であるカム構造体と、
前記カム構造体から前記衝撃力を受け、前記翼ディスク構造体から前記差込み翼を取り除くために前記差込み翼の根元部に前記衝撃力をかけることが可能な前記ハウジングに係合された衝撃構造体と、
を備える装置。 - カム構造が、
入力トルクを受けるように適合されたカムシャフトと、
前記入力トルクを衝撃力に変換可能なカムローブとを備え、
前記カムシャフトが、前記カムローブと一体で形成される、請求項19に記載の装置。
