Abstract
Description
所望の複合層構成をもたらすように配列された明細書に記載の押し出しダイを準備する工程、
第1の押し出し可能なポリマー材料を第1のキャビティの中に供給する工程、
第2の押し出し可能なポリマー材料を第2のキャビティの中に供給する工程、及び
第1及び第2のポリマー材料をダイスロット及び遠位の開口から押し出して、複合層をもたらす工程を含む。
所望の複合層構成を提供するように配列された明細書に記載の押し出しダイであって、押し出しダイが相互に隣接して配置された複数のシムを含み、シムが第1のキャビティ、第2のキャビティ、及びダイスロットを画定し、ダイスロットが遠位の開口を有し、複数のシムのそれぞれが遠位の開口の一部を画定し、シムの少なくとも第1のものが第1のキャビティとダイスロットとの間に導管を提供し、シムの少なくとも第2のものがキャビティとダイスロットとの間に導管を提供する、押し出しダイを準備する工程、
第1の押し出し可能なポリマー材料を第1のキャビティの中に供給する工程、
第2の押し出し可能なポリマー材料を第2のキャビティの中に供給する工程、及び
第1及び第2のポリマー材料をダイスロット及び遠位の開口から押し出して、第1のポリマー材料の少なくとも1つの識別できる領域及び第2のポリマー材料の少なくとも1つの識別できる領域を含む、複合層を提供する工程を含む。
1.第2のポリマー材料の連続的なマトリックス中に部分的に封入された第1のポリマー材料の複数の第1の区域を含み、第1のポリマー材料の全ての第1の区域が、複合層の1つの主表面上にのみ露出領域を有する、複合層。
図1に概略を示し、図4に概略を示した4シム反復パターンにより組み立てた共押し出しダイを準備した。反復配列におけるシムの厚さは、第1のキャビティと接続するシムについては、5mil(0.127mm)であり、第2のキャビティと接続するシムについては5mil(0.127mm)であり、どちらのキャビティとも接続を持たないスペーサーについては2mil(0.05mm)であった。シムをステンレススチールから形成し、孔を数値制御レーザーカッターにより開けた。
図1に概略を示し、図6に概略を示した4シムの反復パターンにより組み立てた共押し出しダイを準備した。反復配列におけるシムの厚さは、第1のキャビティと接続するシムについては、5mil(0.127mm)であり、第2のキャビティと接続するシムについては5mil(0.127mm)であり、どちらのキャビティとも接続を持たないスペーサーについては2mil(0.05mm)であった。シムをステンレススチールから形成し、孔を数値制御レーザーカッターにより開けた。
図1に概略を示し、10シムの反復パターンにより組み立てた共押し出しダイを組み立てた。この10シムの反復パターンは、図6に示したものと類似のシムを使用したが、異なる、大きな配列で使用した。ここで図6を参照すると、この10シムの反復パターンは40a、40c、40a、40c、40a、40c、40a、40c、109、及び40cであった。上記の実施例2と同じように、反復配列中での40aシムの厚さは5mil(0.127mm)であり、110シムの厚さも5mil(0.127mm)であり、スペーサーシム40cの厚さは2mil(0.05mm)であった。シムをステンレススチールから形成し、孔を数値制御レーザーカッターにより開けた。
図1に概略を示した共押し出しダイを12のシム反復パターンにより組み立てた。この12シムの反復パターンは、図4に示したものと類似のシムを使用したが、異なる、大きな配列で使用した。ここで図4を参照すると、この12シムの反復パターンは、90、40c、90、40c、90a、40c、40a、40c、40a、40c、40a、及び40cであった。反復配列中の「40a」シムの厚さは、5mil(0.127mm)であり、「90」シムの厚さも5mil(0.127mm)であり、スペーサーシム「40c」の厚さは2mil(0.05mm)であった。シムをステンレススチールから形成し、孔を数値制御レーザーカッターにより開けた。
Claims (10)
- 第2のポリマー材料の連続的なマトリックス中に部分的に封入された第1のポリマー材料の複数の第1の区域を含む複合層であって、前記第1のポリマー材料の全ての第1の区域が、前記複合層の1つの主表面上にのみ露出領域を有する、複合層。
- 前記第2のポリマー材料が、前記複合層の前記同一の主表面上に前記第1の区域の前記露出領域として主表面を有し、それぞれの第1の区域の露出領域が、1mm以下の前記主表面と平行の最大寸法を有する、請求項1に記載の複合層。
- それぞれの第1の区域が中心点を有し、第2の区域により隔てられた2つの中心点の間に長さが存在し、前記長さの平均が存在し、第2の区域により隔てられた2つの中心点の間の長さが、前記長さの平均の20パーセント以内である、請求項1又は2に記載の複合層。
- 前記複合層が、前記主表面と第2の概ね相対する主表面との間で定義される、平均厚さを有し、かつ前記それぞれの第1の区域の露出領域が、前記主表面から測定したときに、前記複合層の平均厚さの少なくとも5パーセントである、前記主表面に垂直な高さを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の複合層。
- 1cm当たり少なくとも10の識別できる第1の区域の露出領域が存在する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の複合層。
- 容積に関する、前記第2のポリマー材料と前記第1のポリマー材料の比が、少なくとも5:1である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の複合層。
- 前記第1のポリマー材料が第1の接着材料を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の複合層。
- 前記第1の接着材料が第1の剥離を有する、請求項7に記載の複合層。
- 前記第2のポリマー材料が接着材料を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の複合層。
- 第2の接着材料が第2の剥離を有する、請求項9に記載の複合層。
