Description
本発明は、腹圧性尿失禁の診断及び治療に関する。一実施例では、診断及び治療は、位置フィードバックカテーテルを使用して行われる。位置センサは、カテーテルの位置及び移動を実時間で追跡するため、カテーテルに埋設されている。
本発明の別の実施例では、女性の腹圧性失禁を治療するための方法において、位置センサ付きカテーテルを膀胱に挿入する工程と、体内の固定基準点に対する膀胱の位置を決定する工程と、失禁を緩和するのに適した位置まで膀胱を操作する工程とを含む、方法が提供される。一実施例では、膀胱の位置は、恥骨、尾骨、又は膣に対して決定される。別の実施例では、方法は、実時間手術中に行ってもよい。
