Description
本発明によれば、アライメントパターンに基づいて固定部材に対する相対位置が規定された状態で液体噴射ヘッドが固定部材に固定されているので、支持部材の位置決め面に対して固定部材の規制面を当接させた状態で固定することにより、支持部材に対する液体噴射ヘッドの相対位置が精度良く規定される。これにより、支持部材に固定した液体噴射ヘッドの位置ずれを確認する作業が不要になり、液体噴射ヘッドを取り付ける際の作業性を向上させることができる。また、メンテナンス時に液体噴射ヘッドを新たに交換する際、或いは、支持部材から一旦取り外した液体噴射ヘッドを支持部材に再度取り付ける際、支持部材の位置決め面に対して固定部材の規制面を当接させた状態で固定することで位置決めが完了するので、迅速且つ容易に液体噴射ヘッドの交換・修理等が可能となる。
また、前記アライメントパターンを形成する工程において、前記固定部材が前記支持部材の前記位置決め面と当接する面により保持された状態で、前記アライメントパターンを形成することが望ましい。
According to the present invention, since the liquid ejecting head is fixed to the fixing member in a state where the relative position with respect to the fixing member is defined based on the alignment pattern, the restriction surface of the fixing member is abutted against the positioning surface of the support member. By fixing in the contacted state, the relative position of the liquid jet head with respect to the support member is accurately defined. This eliminates the need to confirm the displacement of the liquid ejecting head fixed to the support member, and improves the workability when attaching the liquid ejecting head. Further, when the liquid ejecting head is newly replaced during maintenance, or when the liquid ejecting head once removed from the support member is attached to the support member again, the regulating surface of the fixing member is brought into contact with the positioning surface of the support member. Since the positioning is completed by fixing in the state, the liquid jet head can be replaced and repaired quickly and easily.
In the step of forming the alignment pattern, it is preferable that the alignment pattern is formed in a state where the fixing member is held by a surface that contacts the positioning surface of the support member.
この構成によれば、ノズル群を構成する各ノズルから液体を噴射することで実際に形成された罫線の傾きが目標範囲内となるように固定部材に対する前記液体噴射ヘッドの位置が調整させるので、支持部材に液体噴射ヘッドを取り付けた状態においても、ノズル群を構成する各ノズルから液体を噴射した際の着弾位置ずれが抑制される。
さらに、前記位置調整工程において、前記固定部材のエッジと前記アライメントパターンとが平行となるように、前記固定部材に対する前記液体噴射ヘッドの相対位置を調整することが望ましい。
また、前記第1固定工程において、前記固定部材と前記液体噴射ヘッドとの隙間に充填材を充填した状態で、前記固定部材と前記液体噴射ヘッドとが固定されることが望ましい。
さらに、前記第1固定工程において、前記液体噴射ヘッドは、前記固定部材における前記支持部材の前記位置決め面と当接する側の面とは反対側の面に固定されることが望ましい。

Furthermore, in the first fixing step, it is preferable that the liquid ejecting head is fixed to a surface of the fixing member that is opposite to a surface that contacts the positioning surface of the support member.
Claims (8)
当該液体噴射ヘッドの外郭部材よりも剛性の高い素材から成り、当該液体噴射ヘッドに固定される固定部材と、
前記液体噴射ヘッドが前記固定部材を介して取り付けられる支持部材と、
を備え、前記支持部材が、前記液体噴射ヘッドの取り付け位置を規定する位置決め面を有する液体噴射ヘッドユニットの製造方法であって、
前記液体噴射ヘッドの各ノズルから液体を噴射して液体着弾対象に対してアライメントパターンを形成する工程と、
前記アライメントパターンに基づき、前記固定部材に対する前記液体噴射ヘッドの相対位置を調整する位置調整工程と、
前記固定部材に対する前記液体噴射ヘッドの相対位置が規定された状態で当該固定部材と当該液体噴射ヘッドとを固定する第1固定工程と、
前記支持部材の位置決め面に対して前記固定部材を当接させて当該支持部材に対する取り付け位置が規定された状態で当該支持部材と当該固定部材とを固定する第2固定工程と、
