Abstract
【解決手段】CDMA通信システムにおけるチャンネル設定期間中の送信電力制御のためのシステムおよび方法は、初期送信電力上昇時に加入者ユニットから基地局への短符号の送信を利用する。この短符号は慣用の拡散符号よりもずっと短い周期の基地局による検出のための系列である。送信電力上昇は基地局による検出に必要な送信電力レベルよりも低いことが保証されている送信電力レベルから開始する。加入者ユニットは前記短符号を繰り返し送信しながら前記基地局によるその信号の検出まで送信電力を急速に上昇させる。基地局は、その短符号をいったん検出すると、送信電力上昇を停止するように加入者ユニットに指示を送る。

Claims (3)
- 無線ネットワークにおける使用のための加入者ユニットであって、
前記加入者ユニットが前記無線ネットワークに最初にアクセスすることを試みるとき、第1のセットの送信ビットを送信するように構成された送信機と、
前記第1のセットの送信ビットが検出されたことを示す第1の指示を受信するように構成された受信機とを備え、
前記送信機は、前記受信した第1の指示に応答して、第2のセットの送信ビットを送信するようにさら構成され、
前記送信機は、前記第1の指示を受信しないことに応答して、第3のセットの送信ビットを送信するようにさらに構成され、前記第3のセットの送信ビットは、前記第1のセットの送信ビットと異なり、
前記送信機は、前記第2のセットの送信ビットを送信することの後に、第4のセットの送信ビットを送信するようにさらに構成され、
前記加入者ユニットは、前記第4の送信ビットに関して閉ループ電力制御を容易にするようにさらに構成されたことを特徴とする加入者ユニット。 - 請求項1に記載の加入者ユニットであって、前記受信機は、前記第2のセットの送信ビットが受信されたことを示す第2の指示を受信するようにさらに構成され、前記送信機は、前記第2の指示が前記受信機によって受信されるという条件で前記第4のセットの送信ビットを送信することを特徴とする加入者ユニット。
- 請求項1に記載の加入者ユニットであって、前記第1のセット、第2のセットおよび第3のセットの送信ビットは、閉ループ電力制御されないことを特徴とする加入者ユニット。
