Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an X-ray diagnostic apparatus for mammography examination that acquires projection image data in a subject such as a breast.
By the way, in the above-described mammography apparatus, when the breast is thick, X-rays may be exposed for several seconds. The X-ray exposure time is determined by automatic exposure control in which the apparatus determines an optimal dose, but the operator cannot know the determined exposure time in advance. Therefore, if the exposure time is long, the operator has a suspicion that the apparatus is operating abnormally, and may stop the X-ray exposure before the exposure is completed. If the X-ray exposure is stopped before the completion of the exposure, the optimum X-ray dose determined by the apparatus is not irradiated, and the obtained image may be insufficient for diagnosis. In the mammography apparatus, as described above, the X-ray exposure is performed by pressing the breast, and the compression of the breast is released immediately after the end of the X-ray exposure. During the compression, the patient (subject) feels a lot of pain, but during imaging, the patient (subject) does not move to obtain an accurate image. Therefore, knowing when the X-ray exposure ends is necessary information for the patient. However, the conventional apparatus cannot know the exposure time.
In addition, in digital tomosynthesis performed in recent years, since the breast compression period becomes longer, it is more important for the patient to know when the compression is released. However, even such digital tomosynthesis cannot be known by conventional devices.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an X-ray for mammography examination that allows the operator to continue the exposure with peace of mind even when the X-ray exposure takes a long time and allows the patient to easily predict the end of the exposure. It is to provide a line diagnostic apparatus.
That is, the present invention includes an X-ray generation unit that irradiates a subject with X-rays and performs imaging, and a detection unit that detects the X-rays generated by the X-ray generation unit through the subject. In an X-ray diagnostic apparatus for mammography examination, comprising: an arm portion provided; a support member that rotatably supports the arm portion; and an operation device that operates the X-ray generation means. It is characterized by comprising display means for displaying an X-ray exposure period by the ray generating means.
Further, the present invention provides an X-ray generation means for imaging by exposing an X-ray to a subject, and an X-ray generated by the X-ray generation means by moving the X-ray generation means around the subject. An arm unit including a detection unit that detects a line through the subject, a support body that rotatably supports the arm unit, and an operation device that operates the X-ray generation unit. The X-ray diagnostic apparatus for mammography examination further comprises a display means for displaying an X-ray exposure period by the X-ray generation means.
According to the present invention, since the progress of the X-ray exposure is visually displayed for the target period (target dose), the operator can feel safe even when the X-ray exposure takes a long time. Since the shooting can be continued and the end of the exposure can be easily predicted for the patient, the pain can be eased and the body can be stopped.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 1, the mammography examination X-ray

And the
The

In FIG. 3, the
In the

Next, the operation of the mammography examination X-ray
First, with reference to the flowchart of FIG. 4, an operation for performing manual imaging in which the operator determines the X-ray conditions will be described.
In the embodiment described below, the processing operation for imaging the subject P is the same as that of a conventional X-ray diagnostic apparatus for mammography examination, and therefore detailed description thereof is omitted here. The X-ray exposure and its display will be described.
When this sequence is started, first, in step S1, the operator sets the conditions (tube voltage, mAs) for X-ray exposure by operating the imaging
On the other hand, when the apparatus is ready in step S4, the process proceeds to step S5, and X-ray exposure by the
The display by the progress bar is, for example, as shown in FIG.
FIG. 5A shows a display before the start of exposure, and is a state in which nothing is displayed on the
For example, as shown in FIG. 5D, the display by the progress bar represents 0% at the left end and 100% at the right end when the entire display extends over both ends of the
Next, in step S7, the X-ray exposure time from the
Since it is known that the 100% display of the progress bar is the X-ray pulse width calculated in step S3 as described above, the current exposure period is compared with the entire exposure period, and the ratio From this, you can see the current situation. That is, in the example of FIG. 5C, it can be seen that the current exposure state is a substantially half period (fifth stage) of the whole.
The progress bar display changes over time between 0% and 100% until the X-ray exposure time reaches the set pulse width in steps S5 to S7. That is, immediately after the start of exposure, it is displayed as (10%) as shown in FIG. 5B, and after intermediate display, it is displayed as (100%) as shown in FIG. The
In step S7, when the X-ray exposure time reaches the set pulse width, the process proceeds to step S8, where the
When the exposure is thus completed in step S8, the progress bar display on the
Thus, since the period can be known from the X-ray dose to be finally exposed by the display state of the progress bar, the surgeon can perform the operation with peace of mind. The progress bar display also makes it easier for the subject to predict the remaining time, thus eliminating the anxiety caused by the unknown remaining time and relieving pain from the compression by the breast compression plate. Can do.
Next, an example in which the X-ray conditions for the main exposure are determined by pre-exposure will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
Here, the X-ray conditions are, for example, the tube voltage, tube current, X-ray pulse width, X-ray filter, and the like of the
When this sequence is started, the X-ray exposure button 51 is operated (pressed) in step S11. Next, in step S12, a pre-exposed X-ray condition (tube voltage, mAs) is determined from the compression thickness of the breast of the subject 20. In step S13, the pre-irradiation tube current of the
On the other hand, when the apparatus is ready in step S14, the process proceeds to step S15, and X-ray pre-exposure by the
Next, in step S20, it is determined whether or not the apparatus is ready (OK). Here, when preparation is not yet completed, it transfers to said step S15 and the processing operation of step S15-S20 is repeated. On the other hand, when the apparatus is ready in step S20, the process proceeds to step S21, and the main X-ray exposure by the
Next, in step S23, the X-ray main exposure time by the
Thus, even if the X-ray conditions for the main exposure are determined by pre-exposure, the period can be known from the X-ray dose to be finally exposed according to the display state of the progress bar.
Next, an example in which the main exposure is performed without pre-exposure and the exposure end is controlled by the
When this sequence is started, first, in step S31, the operator operates the imaging
On the other hand, when the apparatus is ready in step S34, the process proceeds to step S35, and X-ray exposure by the
Here, the display of the progress bar shown in FIGS. 5A to 5E corresponds to the exposure period in the above-described example using manual imaging and pre-exposure, but this
In step S <b> 37, a signal during X-ray exposure by the
On the other hand, when the accumulated X-ray dose reaches the target value in step S37, the process proceeds to step S38, and the X-ray exposure by the
In this way, the period can be known from the X-ray dose to be finally exposed according to the display state of the progress bar.

(Second Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described.
In the first embodiment described above, an example is described in which imaging is performed with all X-ray tubes fixed. However, in the second embodiment, an example of display of an X-ray exposure period by tomosynthesis imaging is described. Will be described.
In this second embodiment, the basic configuration and operation of the mammography examination X-ray diagnostic apparatus are the same as those in the first embodiment described above. The same reference numerals are assigned to the same parts, illustration and description thereof are omitted, and only different parts will be described.
FIG. 8 is a schematic view for explaining an X-ray diagnostic apparatus for mammography examination according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
In FIG. 8, tomosynthesis imaging is imaging in which X-ray exposure is performed by X-ray tubes 11 (11a, 11b, 11c) at a plurality of positions while the
9A to 9C are display examples of a progress bar by tomosynthesis imaging, in which the upper part shows a
First, imaging is started at the position of the
Next, when imaging of the position of the
Then, when imaging at the position of the
Thereafter, when imaging at the position of the
When imaging at the position of the
As described above, in the case of tomosynthesis imaging, while the arm portion is moving, it gradually extends from the progress bar 0% side of the whole display including the arm portion moving period, and when the whole movement and photographing are finished, a full frame display is displayed. (100%). X-ray exposure is performed a plurality of times during the movement of the arm, and a progress bar is displayed in the X-ray exposure period display frame each time, and a bar from 0% to 100% is displayed during exposure. It extends and reaches the full length when the predetermined exposure period is reached. After the last X-ray exposure is completed and the entire display bar including the arm movement period is the longest, both bars are extinguished, indicating that the operator and the subject have finished imaging. I can know.
Therefore, even in tomosynthesis imaging, which takes a long time, it is easy to predict the remaining time by displaying a progress bar on the subject, so the anxiety caused by the unknown remaining time is eliminated. Thus, it is possible to relieve the pain of compression by the breast compression plate.
In the above description, the tomosynthesis imaging is described as three places, but of course, the present invention is not limited to this, and it goes without saying that it is possible at a plurality of places.
Further, in the first and second embodiments described above, the display on the display device has been described as the display by the progress bar, but the present invention is not limited to this.
For example, even if it is a circular meter display or a slide bar display, it may be a display that shows how much the current period is in the entire period. Further, it may be a countdown display by displaying numbers, or an elapsed period may be displayed by a change in color or density by color display or gradation display.
Further, the notification unit 49 having the same function as that of the
