Abstract

Claims (10)
- 超伝導マグネット用のコイル支持機構(20)であって、
端部フランジ間に複数のチャンネルを有する主巻き型体部(22)と、
端部フランジの間で主巻き型体部に結合されたスプリント(26)と、
スプリントの端部のうちの1つまたは幾つかに隣接して主巻き型体部に結合された荷重拡散器(28)であって、スプリントの端部のうちの該1つまたは幾つかと該荷重拡散器の間にギャップ(42)を有するようにした荷重拡散器(28)と、
を備えるコイル支持機構(20)。 - 前記主巻き型体部(22)は複合材料から形成されており、前記スプリント(26)は金属材料から形成されており、かつ前記荷重拡散器(28)は複合材料から形成されている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記主巻き型体部(22)は、荷重拡散器(28)と異なる複合材料から形成されている、請求項2に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記スプリント(26)はステンレス鋼から形成されており、かつ前記荷重拡散器(28)はエポキシ積層体から形成されている、請求項2に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記ギャップ(42)は、超伝導マグネットの通常動作時において、スプリント(26)の端部が荷重拡散器と当接するようなサイズとしている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記荷重拡散器(28)は平板を成している、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記荷重拡散器(28)は階段状の界面(50)として構成されている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記荷重拡散器(28)は、スプリント(26)の一部分をその内部に受け容れるためのスロット(62)を有するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記荷重拡散器(28)は、多角形状の界面(110)を有するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
- 前記スプリント(26)は、荷重拡散器(28)の肩部(52)を係合させるための少なくとも1つの突起(132)を備えている、請求項1に記載のコイル支持機構(20)。
