Claims (13)
- GI管の組織を通過して、組織に定着することが可能であるように適応された端部を有するテザーと、前記テザーの長さに沿って付着される少なくとも1つの装置本体とを備えた、被験者の胃腸障害を治療するための装置であって、前記少なくとも1つの装置本体が、通常開状態の弾性的に圧縮可能な構造であり、
(i)前記通常開状態で前記GI管の管腔を少なくとも部分的に閉塞すること、および
(ii)前記テザーを前記組織から切り離した後、前記GI管を通過すること
が可能である、
装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの装置本体が、前記GI管の洞、幽門および/または十二指腸領域を少なくとも部分的に遮断するように構成され、かつさらに前記端部が胃の組織を通過し、前記テザーの長さが、前記少なくとも1つの装置本体を前記幽門から7cm以内に配置するように選択される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置本体が開いた円錐体、パラシュート、または傘として形作られる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置本体は25mm以下の最大直径を有し、それによって前記GI管を通過することができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記テザーの長さに沿って付着される複数の装置本体を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記テザーの前記端部が前記組織に定着された場合に、前記複数の装置本体のうち第1の装置本体は十二指腸に存在し、前記複数の装置本体のうち第2の装置本体は洞内に存在する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの装置本体が1立方センチメートルの最大排水容積を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記テザーが前記組織に定着された場合に、前記少なくとも1つの装置本体が胃と十二指腸との間を移動することができる、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの装置本体が1ニュートン未満の力によりその最小包含容積まで圧潰可能に構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が前記組織から切り離された後、前記GI管内に存在する前記装置の全部分が前記GI管を通過する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 被験者の胃腸障害を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)組織に定着することが可能である端部を有するテザーの長さに沿って付着された少なくとも1つの装置本体を含む装置と、
(b)送達装置と、
を備え、前記送達装置は、
(i)胃腸の壁の組織を通じて前記テザーの前記端部を送達する組織貫通要素と、
(ii)前記テザーの前記端部が組織の標認点から所定の距離を置いて配置されるように、前記組織を通じて前記テザーの前端部を送達するための組織の部位を決定するための距離マーカと
を含む、
システム。 - 前記送達装置は、前記組織貫通要素の移動軸に対し垂直な方向に前記組織を吸込むための真空チャンバを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記組織貫通要素は、その内腔に配置されたプッシュロッドを含み、さらに前記組織貫通要素は、前記組織貫通要素および前記プッシュロッドを1回のオペレータ動作で順次変位させるように構成された前記ハンドルを含む、請求項11に記載の送達装置。
