Claims (10)
- 埋め込み型医療装置(「IMD」)であって、

テレメトリ信号を送受信するための前記アンテナと通信可能に結合されるコントローラと、を備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記アンテナによって受信された信号の特定の特性に基づいて、前記アンテナの性能を測定し、
前記複数の電極によって、前記少なくとも1つの誘電層の少なくとも一部分に対して、バイアスを印加して、前記アンテナの前記性能を変更するように構成される、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記少なくとも1つの誘電層と前記アンテナとは、共焼成されたモノリシックアンテナ構造体の一部である、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記少なくとも1つの誘電層は、セラミック材料を含む、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項3記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記セラミック材料は、約850℃から約1150℃の間の融点を有する低温度共焼成セラミック(LTCC)材料と、高誘電率を有する共焼成可能なペーストを含む、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項3記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記セラミック材料は、約1100℃から約1700℃の間の融点を有する高温度共焼成セラミック(HTCC)材料を含む、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記アンテナ構造体は複数の誘電層から得られ、前記アンテナは前記複数の誘電層の中に埋め込まれ、
さらに前記複数の電極と前記アンテナとは、同一の誘電層上に形成される、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記アンテナ構造体は複数の誘電層から得られ、前記アンテナは前記複数の誘電層の中に埋め込まれ、
さらに前記複数の電極と前記アンテナとは、異なる誘電層上に形成される、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記コントローラは、さらに、前記アンテナにビームステアリング機能を付与するために、前記少なくとも1つの誘電層に、前記バイアスを印加するように構成され、前記アンテナに入り、および前記アンテナから出る通信信号を選択的に増幅させることができる、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記コントローラは、さらに、前記アンテナにビームステアリング機能を付与するために、前記少なくとも1つの誘電層に、前記バイアスを印加するように構成され、前記アンテナに入り、および前記アンテナから出る通信信号を選択的に減衰させることができる、埋め込み型医療装置。 - 請求項1記載の埋め込み型医療装置において、
前記コントローラは、さらに、前記IMDのために、前記アンテナによって受信される前記信号の利得を変更すること、または前記アンテナと、埋め込み位置の周りの伝搬環境との間のインピーダンス整合をとることの少なくとも1つを実施して、前記バイアスを印加するように構成される、埋め込み型医療装置。
