Abstract
Description

Claims (16)
- 表面を備える針であって、
該表面は、該表面内に形成される複数の第1の超音波反射凹部を有し、該第1の凹部は、介在セクションによって相互から分離されて、該針の長さ方向の少なくとも一部分に沿って分布し、該第1の凹部のそれぞれは、トラフを有する該介在セクションの対応する端部に隣接する第1の端部と第2の端部との間の局面に沿って延在し、該トラフにおいて、該第1の凹部のそれぞれの表面が、該第1の凹部のそれぞれの第1の端部に向かってオフセットされている該針の長手方向軸に最も密接に接近する、針。 - 長手方向本体は、該長手方向本体を通って延在する管腔を含む、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記長手方向本体の遠位端に位置する先端をさらに備え、該先端は、前記針の前記長手方向軸に対して角度を付けて形成され、該針によって貫通される身体組織をその中に受容するように構成される、請求項2に記載の針。
- 前記第1の凹部のそれぞれは、前記針の全円周の周囲に延在する、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記第1の凹部のそれぞれは、前記針の円周の一部分の周囲のみに延在する、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記第1の凹部のそれぞれの前記第1の端部は、該第1の凹部の遠位端にある、請求項1に記載の針。
- 複数の第2の超音波反射凹部をさらに備え、該複数の第2の超音波反射凹部は、前記介在セクションによって相互から分離されて、前記針の長さの少なくとも一部分に沿って分布し、該第2の凹部のそれぞれは、トラフを有する該介在セクションの対応する端部に隣接する第1の端部と第2の端部との間の局面に沿って延在し、該トラフにおいて、該第2の凹部のそれぞれの表面が、該第2の凹部のそれぞれの第2の端部に向かってオフセットされている該針の長手方向軸に最も密接に接近する、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記第2の凹部のそれぞれの前記第2の端部は、該第2の凹部の近位端にある、請求項7に記載の針。
- 前記介在セクションの長さは、前記針に沿って変化する、請求項7に記載の針。
- 前記介在セクションは、長さが実質的に等しい、請求項1に記載の針。
- 複数の第3の超音波反射凹部をさらに備え、該複数の第3の超音波反射凹部は、前記介在セクションによって相互から分離されて、前記針の長さの少なくとも一部分に沿って分布し、該第3の凹部のそれぞれは、トラフを有する該介在セクションの対応する端部に隣接する第1の端部と第2の端部との間の局面に沿って延在し、該トラフにおいて、該第2の凹部のそれぞれの表面が、該第2の凹部のそれぞれの該第1の端部と第2の端部との間の実質的に中心にある、該針の長手方向軸に最も密接に接近する、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記第1および第3の凹部は、前記針の前記長さに沿って交互に並ぶ、請求項11に記載の針。
- 前記針の長手方向本体は、ステンレス鋼およびタングステンのうちの1つで形成される、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記針の少なくとも一部分を被覆するコーティングをさらに備え、コーティング層の材料は、身体組織の音響インピーダンスと実質的に一致するように選択される音響インピーダンスを有し、該身体組織の内側で該針が使用される、請求項1に記載の針。
- 前記コーティング層の材料を通る音の速度は、前記身体組織を通る音の速度よりも実質的に小さく、該身体組織の内側で前記針が使用される、請求項14に記載の針。
- 表面を備える医療装置であって、
該表面は、該表面内に形成される複数の第1の超音波反射凹部を有し、該第1の凹部は、介在セクションによって相互から分離されて、該装置の長さ方向の少なくとも一部分に沿って分布し、該第1の凹部のそれぞれは、トラフを有する該介在セクションの対応する端部に隣接する第1の端部と第2の端部との間の局面に沿って延在し、該トラフにおいて、該第1の凹部のそれぞれの表面が、該第1の凹部のそれぞれの第1の端部に向かってオフセットされている該装置の長手方向軸に最も密接に接近する、医療装置。
