Description
1.マットの総重量に基づいて、少なくとも25重量%の玄武岩繊維と、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも10重量%の繊維からなるブレンドから構成される不織布マットであって、前記不織布マットは、マットの総重量に基づいて少なくとも80重量%の前記玄武岩繊維と、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される繊維と、から集合的に構成される、不織布マット。
−実条件取り付け試験(RCFT)
本試験を用いて、実際の使用時において触媒コンバータなどの汚染防止要素に見られる実際の条件を代表する条件下で、シート材料によってもたらされる圧力を測定する。
本開示の目的上、本試験を用いて、本明細書に記載の非膨張性の不織布マットの特定の高温における収縮を評価する。この試験では、不織布マットを700℃又は750℃まで等温加熱し、その後室温まで冷却する際の不織布マットの厚さを、一定圧力下で連続的に測定して記録する。しかしながら、本テストは、コンバータの実環境をシュミレートすることを意図しない。
引張試験を用いて、マットの製造及び使用プロセスに関連し得る不織布マットの特定の取り扱い特性を評価する。不織布マットは、取り扱われる、モノリスに巻き付けられる、又は缶詰めにされるときに裂けない又は破断しないことが望ましい。コンバータアセンブリの中にマットを実装した後では、引張り強度ははもはや問題ではない。
Claims (10)
- マットの総重量に基づいて、少なくとも25重量%の玄武岩繊維と、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも10重量%の繊維と、から構成されるブレンドから構成される不織布マットであって、前記不織布マットが、前記マットの総重量に基づいて、少なくとも80重量%の前記玄武岩繊維と、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される前記繊維と、から集合的に構成される、不織布マット。
- 少なくとも80重量%の前記玄武岩繊維と前記非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維とを集合的に含む、請求項1に記載の不織布マット。
- 前記ブレンド中に存在する、前記玄武岩繊維、及び非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される前記繊維が、実条件取り付け試験の25℃から700℃/400℃までの3回の熱サイクルの後に、前記繊維のブレンドから構成される前記不織布マット内に存在する、任意の個々の玄武岩繊維、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、及び熱処理されたシリカ繊維からなる類似の不織布マットの弾性値よりも少なくとも1.1倍大きい弾性値を有する不織布マットを集合的に提供する、請求項1又は2に記載の不織布マット。
- 前記マットが、非晶質耐火セラミックス繊維、生体溶解性のセラミックス繊維、熱処理されたシリカ繊維、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される前記繊維を、マットの総重量に基づいて少なくとも15重量%含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の不織布マット。
- 500℃を超える加熱の前の出来上がった状態のままの前記不織布マットが、前記マットの総重量に基づいて5重量%以下の有機材料を含有する、請求項4に記載の不織布マット。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のマットを有するケーシングの中に実装される汚染防止要素を備える汚染防止装置。
- 二重壁排気構成要素と、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の前記マットとを備える排気システムであって、前記マットが、前記二重壁排気構成要素の壁の間の間隙の中に位置決めされる、排気システム。
- 前記二重壁排気構成要素が排気管である、請求項7に記載の排気システム。
- 前記二重壁排気構成要素が、汚染防止装置のエンドコーンである、請求項7に記載の排気システム。
- 前記二重壁排気構成要素が排気マニホルドである、請求項7に記載の排気システム。
