Abstract
Description
図7に示すように、直径8.0mm、厚さ0.06mmの第一ノッチを、外径16mm、厚さ0.3mmのアルミニウムシートに、30度の円弧を除いて形成し、それぞれ直径4.0mm、厚さ0.1mmの第二ノッチをアルミニウムシートに、2個の30度の円弧を除いて形成した。その後、アルミニウムシートの中央を下方に押し下げ、深さ0.65mmの窪み部を形成した。このようにして、安全ベントを製造した。
安全ベントを製造する時に、第一ノッチの厚さが0.1mmであり、各第二ノッチの厚さが0.06mmであった以外は、例1と同じ方法でバッテリーを製造した。
安全ベントを製造する時に、第一ノッチの直径が7mmであり、第一ノッチの厚さが0.06mmであった以外は、例1と同じ方法でバッテリーを製造した。
電流遮断装置の通し孔の面積の合計が電流遮断装置の総面積の約18%に等しい以外は、例1と同じ方法でバッテリーを製造した。
Claims (11)
- キャップアセンブリーであって、
バッテリーの円筒形容器の開口上側末端上に搭載されてなり、電極アセンブリーが前記円筒形容器の中に取り付けられてなるものであり、
前記キャップアセンブリーが、
前記バッテリー中で発生した高圧ガスにより破裂するように形成された予め決められたノッチを有する安全ベントと、
前記バッテリーの内側圧力が増加した時に電流を遮断するための、前記安全ベントの底部に溶接により連結された電流遮断装置と、及び
前記電流遮断装置の外周を取り囲むための電流遮断装置ガスケットとを備えてなるものであり、
前記電流遮断装置が、ガスを排出するための2個以上の通し孔を備えてなり、
前記通し孔が、前記通し孔の面積の合計が前記電流遮断装置の総面積の20%〜50%に等しくなるように形成されている、キャップアセンブリー。 - 前記電流遮断装置が、
前記電流遮断装置の中央に、上向きに突き出るように形成された突出部を備えてなり、
前記突出部が、前記安全ベントの窪み部の底部に溶接により固定され、
ゼリーロールのカソードに接続されたカソードリード線が、前記突出部を除く前記窪み部の底部を介して前記電流遮断装置に電気的に接続され、
前記突出部の同心円上に3〜5個の通しスリットが形成され、
前記突出部の同心円上に前記通しスリットを相互接続するためのブリッジが形成され、
前記ブリッジのそれぞれがノッチを有する、構造に構築されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリー。 - 前記通し孔が、前記通し孔が前記電流遮断装置の中心の周りで、半径方向で対称的になるように円弧状に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリー。
- 前記安全ベントが、前記安全ベントの中心に、下方に窪むように形成された窪み部を備えてなり、
前記安全ベントが、前記安全ベントの、前記窪み部を形成する上側屈曲部及び下側屈曲部に第一ノッチ及び第二ノッチをそれぞれ備えてなり、
前記安全ベントの前記上側屈曲部に形成された前記第一ノッチが、片側が開口し、開口曲線に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリー。 - 前記第二ノッチが、対向する末端が開口し、開口した曲線に形成される、請求項4に記載のキャップアセンブリー。
- 前記キャップアセンブリーが、前記電流遮断装置、前記電流遮断装置ガスケット、前記安全ベント、正温度係数(PTC)素子、及び少なくとも一個の排気口を有するトップキャップを積み重ねた構造に構築されてなり、
前記積重構造の外周にガスケットがさらに取り付けられてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリー。 - 前記電流遮断装置ガスケットが、前記電流遮断装置ガスケットの中央に開口部を備え、前記中央開口部が、前記電流遮断装置の前記通し孔を覆わない形状に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリー。
- 前記電流遮断装置の前記通し孔、前記電流遮断装置ガスケットの前記開口部、及び前記安全ベントのノッチが互いに直線的に整列し、前記電流遮断装置の前記通し孔、前記電流遮断装置ガスケットの前記開口部、及び前記安全ベントの前記ノッチが互いに連絡する、請求項7に記載のキャップアセンブリー。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のキャップアセンブリー及びカソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極アセンブリー(ゼリーロール)を備えてなる、円筒形バッテリー。
- 前記ゼリーロールの上側末端上に搭載されたディスク形状絶縁部材をさらに備えてなり、
前記ディスク形状絶縁部材が、前記ディスク形状絶縁部材の中央に、ガス排出及び電極端子接続用の開口部を備えてなり、
前記ディスク形状絶縁部材が前記開口部の周囲に、少なくとも一個の通し孔を備えてなり、
前記少なくとも一個の通し孔が、前記ディスク形状絶縁部材の面積の20%〜50%に等しいサイズを有する、請求項9に記載の円筒形バッテリー。 - 前記ディスク形状絶縁部材の前記少なくとも一個の通し孔が、前記電流遮断装置ガスケットの前記開口部及び前記電流遮断装置の前記通し孔と、直線的に整列し、前記ディスク形状絶縁部材の前記少なくとも一個通し孔が前記電流遮断装置ガスケットの前記開口部及び前記電流遮断装置の前記通し孔と連絡してなる、請求項10に記載の円筒形バッテリー。
