Description

The present invention relates to a method for repairing a metal surface of a metal panel.

When the outer wall surface of a building deteriorates, it is known to repair the deteriorated outer wall surface by painting (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).
However, the metallic luster on the outer wall surface formed using metallic outer wall panels such as aluminum panels and stainless steel panels (for example, see Patent Document 3) characterized by the beauty due to the luster of the metallic surface is lost due to deterioration over time. In this case, if the outer wall surface that has lost its metallic luster has been painted with a paint such as acrylic paint, urethane paint, or silicon paint, the outer wall made of metal that takes advantage of the beauty of the luster of the metal surface The meaning using the panel disappears.
Therefore, when the metallic luster of the surface of the metal outer wall panel is deteriorated, the deteriorated metal outer wall panel is replaced with a new metal outer wall panel.

However, there has been a problem that the cost for replacing the deteriorated metal outer wall panel with a new metal outer wall panel is high, and it takes a lot of construction time.
The present invention provides a method for repairing a metal panel that can regenerate the metallic luster of the metal surface of a metal panel such as a metal outer wall panel having a deteriorated metallic luster, and can protect the metal surface that has been regenerated. To do.

The method for repairing a metal panel according to the present invention includes a cleaning step for cleaning a metal surface of a deteriorated metal panel, and a polishing step for removing a deteriorated portion of the metal surface of the deteriorated metal panel and a deposit attached to the metal surface. And an ultraviolet curable resin coating application step for applying an ultraviolet curable resin coating to the metal surface in a state where the metal surface after the polishing process is shielded from sunlight, and an ultraviolet curable resin coating applied to the metal surface A UV curing resin coating curing process that cures the UV curing resin paint by irradiating the UV curing resin paint with UV light while being shielded from light, so that the metal surface of the deteriorated metal panel is cleaned In addition, since the metal surface of the metal panel which has been recovered to a metallic surface having a metallic luster through the polishing process and has returned to the metallic luster is covered with the cured ultraviolet curable resin, the ultraviolet curable resin Thus the metal surface of the metal panel is protected, can prevent deterioration of the metal surface is possible maintain the metallic luster of the metal surface.
Since the metal panel is a metal outer wall panel in which the metal surface forms the outer wall surface of the building, the metallic luster of the outer wall surface can be regenerated, the metallic luster can be maintained, and deterioration of the outer wall surface can be prevented.

As shown in FIG. 2, a metal outer wall panel 1 such as an aluminum outer wall panel or a stainless steel outer wall panel as an example of a metal panel is, for example, an outer wall mounting base 3 (see FIG. 3) to constitute the outer wall surface 4 of the building 2.
The metal outer wall panel 1 has, for example, a rectangular metal plate portion 5 having a thickness a of about several centimeters and a length of one side of the metal surface forming the outer wall surface 4 of about 1.0 m to 1.5 m (see FIG. 3). ) And a mounting portion 6 (see FIG. 3) for mounting the metal plate portion 5 to the outer wall mounting base 3. The mounting portion 6 includes, for example, an engaging portion that engages with the outer wall mounting base 3, and is fixed to the outer wall mounting base 3 by a fixing tool (not shown). The metal surface forming the outer wall surface 4 is formed into a surface having a metallic luster.
In general, the gloss of the metal surface of the metal outer wall panel 1 forming the outer wall surface 4 of the building 2 is deteriorated and lost over time.
By performing the method of repairing a metal outer wall panel according to the embodiment, the deteriorated metal surface of the metal outer wall panel 1 forming the outer wall surface 4 of the building 2 can be regenerated, and the regenerated metal surface can be protected. .

As shown in FIG. 1, the method of repairing the metal outer wall panel 1 according to the embodiment includes a cleaning step S1, a polishing step S2, an ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S3, an ultraviolet curable resin coating curing step S4, including.
In the cleaning step S1, after applying the cleaning liquid to the metal surface of the metal outer wall panel 1 to be repaired, which has lost the metallic luster that forms the outer wall surface 4 of the building 2, the cloth or sponge is not shown. Clean the metal surface with a wipe.
After cleaning in the cleaning step S1, for example, as shown in FIG. 3A, the metal surface 12A of the metal outer wall panel 1 forming the outer wall surface 4 has deteriorated portions such as oxidized portions and pitting portions. 10 and the deposits 11 that have not been removed by the above cleaning remain.
In the polishing step S2, the metal surface 12A of the metal outer wall panel 1 to be repaired after polishing is polished with an abrasive to oxidize the metal surface 12A of the metal outer wall panel 1 forming the outer wall surface 4. The metal surface 12A is formed on the metal surface 12 having a metallic luster by removing the deteriorated portion 10 such as the portion or the pitting portion or the deposit 11 that has not been removed by the cleaning. That is, the deteriorated metal surface 12A of the metal outer wall panel 1 that has lost its metallic luster is polished and regenerated into the metallic surface 12 having the metallic luster (see FIG. 3B).
Thus, the deteriorated metal surface 12A of the metal outer wall panel 1 that has lost its metallic luster is regenerated into the metallic surface 12 having the metallic luster through the cleaning step S1 and the polishing step S2.
In the ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S3, as shown in FIG. 3C, the sunlight 14 does not hit the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 having a metallic luster after polishing using the light shielding means 13. In such a state, the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 is applied to the metal surface 12. In the ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S <b> 3, the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 is applied to the metal surface 12 to a thickness of about 1 μm to 2 μm so as not to impair the metal texture of the metal surface 12. That is, normally, the ultraviolet curable resin coating is applied to a thickness of about 15 μm to 20 μm. However, in the present invention, in order not to impair the metal texture of the metal surface 12, the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 is The metal surface 12 is thinly coated with a thickness of about 1/10 of the normal coating thickness. Thus, in order to form a coating film of the UV curable resin coating 15 having a uniform thin thickness on the metal surface 12, for example, the microfiber fiber 21 as shown in FIG. What is necessary is just to perform application | coating operation | work using the coating tool 20 which can apply | coat the ultraviolet curable resin coating material 15 to the metal surface 12. FIG.
In the ultraviolet curable resin coating curing step S4, as shown in FIG. 3D, the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 applied to the metal surface 12 is shielded from light by using the light shielding means 13 so that the sunlight 14 does not hit it. In this state, the ultraviolet curable resin paint 15 applied to the metal surface 12 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays 17 by the ultraviolet irradiator 16 to cure the ultraviolet curable resin paint 15.
In the UV curable resin coating application step S3 and the UV curable resin coating curing step S4, UV curing is performed under the condition that the sunlight 14 does not hit the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 using the light shielding means 13. Since the operation of applying the mold resin coating 15 and the operation of curing the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 are performed, the surface of the cured ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 may be unevenly cured. The outer wall surface 4 can be formed with good quality.
Finally, the surface 18 of the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 applied and cured on the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 is washed.
By the repair method of the metal outer wall panel 1 described above, the metallic luster of the metal surface 12A of the deteriorated metal outer wall panel 1 is regenerated, and the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 that has returned to the metallic luster is cured. Since it is covered with the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15, the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 can be protected, and the outer wall surface 4 that can maintain the metallic luster of the metal surface 12 and prevent the metal surface 12 from deteriorating can be formed.
The series of steps of the cleaning step S1, the polishing step S2, the ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S3, and the ultraviolet curable resin coating curing step S4 are performed collectively on the plurality of metal outer wall panels 1. Work efficiently.

For example, a neutral detergent or water may be used as the cleaning liquid.
As the abrasive, for example, a powder or the like may be used. Specifically, a silica-based abrasive mainly composed of silica (silica) having a particle diameter of about 13 μm and a viscosity of about 2000 to 3000 mPa · S (25 ° C.) may be used. When the deteriorated state of the metal surface 12A, for example, when the metal surface 12A is heavily soiled or uneven, a material obtained by adding a carbon silicon abrasive (5 μm to 10 μm) to the silica abrasive is used as an abrasive. It is preferable to do. For example, what added carbon silicon type abrasives (5 micrometers-10 micrometers) about 3%-10% of the total amount of silica type abrasives to silica type abrasives should be used.
For example, a light shielding sheet may be used as the light shielding means.
As the ultraviolet irradiator 16, for example, when the metal outer wall panel 1 is an aluminum outer wall panel, an ultraviolet irradiator capable of outputting an illuminance of 250 mmw / cm 2 is used for the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 for 1 to 2 seconds. Irradiated.

As the ultraviolet curable resin paint 15, it is preferable to use a resin having good adhesion to the metal surface 12 as compared with an ultraviolet curable resin paint applied to the surface of wood such as a flooring floor.

According to the embodiment, since the cleaning step S1 and the polishing step S2 are performed, the metal surface 12A of the deteriorated metal outer wall panel 1 is regenerated (restored) into a metal surface 12 having a metallic luster having an original design and texture. it can.
Further, since the ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S3 and the ultraviolet curable resin coating curing step S4 are performed, the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 whose metallic luster has returned is covered with the cured ultraviolet curable resin coating 15. Therefore, the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel is protected by the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15, and the outer wall surface 4 that can maintain the metallic luster of the metal surface 12 and prevent the metal surface 12 from being deteriorated can be formed.
Further, in the UV curable resin coating application step S3, since the UV curable resin coating 15 is applied to the metal surface 12 to a thickness of about 1 μm to 2 μm, the metal texture of the metal surface 12 can be kept intact. 12 can be reproduced in a state close to a new one.
In addition, since the ultraviolet curable resin paint 15 having good adhesion to the metal surface 12 is used, and the cured film obtained by curing the ultraviolet curable resin paint 15 has a hardness equivalent to the hardness 5H of the pencil core. The outer wall surface 4 having metallic luster and excellent weather resistance and durability can be formed.
Further, since the curing time of the ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 is about several seconds, the work period can be shortened.
In addition, since the ultraviolet curable resin coating application step S3 and the ultraviolet curable resin coating curing step S4 are performed in a state in which sunlight is not applied to the metal surface 12 of the metal outer wall panel 1 using the light shielding means 13, Curing unevenness of the surface 18 of the cured ultraviolet curable resin coating 15 can be eliminated, and the outer wall surface 4 having a clean finish can be formed.

The repairing method of the present invention can also be applied to repairing metal panels used as finishing panels such as a waist wall, an inner wall, an inner wall of a blow-by portion, and a floor.
