Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rolled recording medium in which a recording medium having a separator layer is wound around a core and supplied in the form of a roll, and the end of the recording medium (winding end) is improved by improving the portion fixed to the core. The present invention relates to a roll-shaped recording medium that solves a problem that occurs when a part peels off a core.
In a recording system such as an ink jet recording system or a thermal recording system, a system in which a recording medium is wound in a roll and continuously supplied is used to the same extent as a system in which recording media are supplied one by one.
Usually, the roll of the medium is processed by winding the medium on a pipe-shaped core tube, fixing the leading end of the medium, applying a constant tension, and winding it several times while slitting to a constant width. When a recording medium with a roll separator layer is used in a printer, printing is performed while the recording medium with a roll separator layer is pulled out by a paper feed roller of the printer.
When the recording medium with a roll separator layer is completely free from the core tube, that is, when the medium is not fixed to the core tube, the position is not fixed at the start of winding and tension is applied. Since it is difficult to wind in a state, workability is poor. From this point, the core tube and the medium are fixed with an adhesive tape, and winding is started.
In the final stage of printing on a roll medium with a printer, if the core and the recording medium are firmly fixed, the medium is not sent because the recording medium does not peel from the core if printing is in progress. Printing on the same part of the printer for a long time, which may cause a printer head failure.
Conventionally, the following improvements have been made to eliminate such inconvenience.
For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a medium in which a long medium is fixed to a winding core with an adhesive tape, and the medium is cut.
However, even when the above method is applied, tension is applied when cutting the cut line or the perforation, and a load is generated on the driving device that is driven to pull out the recording medium, which also increases the frequency of occurrence of failure.
Also, the separator layer and the recording medium are different in material and thickness, and the breaking force when cutting a cut or perforation is also different. Only the separator layer or the recording medium is broken, or the separator layer is peeled off due to partial breakage, and is conveyed. The control is disabled or the transport mechanism is entangled.
An object of the present invention is to solve the problems that occur in the roll-shaped recording medium.

The 180 degree peeling force between the recording medium and the separator medium was 2.8 N / 25 mm and 300 mm / min.
