Abstract

Claims (7)
- 差別化サービス制御パラメータ(94)に応じて無線ネットワーク(10)を介してデータパケットを送信するように構成されたノード(20)であって、
前記差別化サービスコードパラメータ(94)の個別化された制御をもたらすように構成され、さらに前記データパケットの中のペイロード(230)に対する個別化された制御をもたらすようにも構成されたコントローラ(26)を備え、前記コントローラ(26)は、
前記無線ネットワーク(10)を介して送信されるべきデータ(60)を受け取り、
前記データ(60)に優先レベル(92)を割り当て、
前記優先レベル(92)に基づいて、前記ノード(20)に関する前記差別化サービス制御パラメータ(94)設定を調整し、
前記無線ネットワーク(10)に関する信号品質指標(210)を算出し、さらに
前記信号品質指標(210)に基づいて、前記ペイロード(230)の中に含められる前記データ(60)の量を調整するようにさらに構成されるノード(20)。 - 前記信号品質指標(210)は、受信信号強度指標値、ノイズフロア値、信号対雑音比値、パケット再送レート、およびビーコンが逸せられたレートのうち1つに基づく請求項1記載のノード(20)。
- 前記コントローラ(26)は、前記受け取られたデータ(60)からデータのサブセット(220)を除去することによって、前記ペイロード(230)の中に含められるべきデータ(60)の量を調整するように構成される請求項1記載のノード(20)。
- 患者監視デバイス(20)である請求項3記載のノード(20)であって、前記受け取られたデータ(60)は、前記患者監視デバイス(20)によって獲得された生理学的データ(60)を含み、さらにデータの前記サブセット(220)は、警報データ(60b)、波形データ(60c)、およびバイタルサインデータ(60a)のうち1つを含むノード(20)。
- 前記コントローラ(26)は、前記受け取られたデータ(60)の分解能を低減することによって、前記ペイロード(230)の中に含められるデータ(60)の量を調整するように構成される請求項1記載のノード(20)。
- IEEE802.11eプロトコルに準拠してアクセスポイント(14)と無線通信するように構成された請求項1記載のノード(20)であって、前記差別化サービス制御パラメータ(94)は、差別化サービスコードポイントであるノード(20)。
- 前記コントローラ(26)は、前記データ(60)に前記優先レベル(92)を割り当てるために、前記データ(60)の分類(80)を決定し、さらに前記分類(80)に基づいて加重和計算(92)を実行するようにさらに構成される請求項1記載のノード(20)。
