Abstract

Claims (10)
- コアガスタービンエンジン(12)と、
前記コアガスタービンエンジンに連結される低圧タービン(14)と、
前部ファンアセンブリおよび後部ファンアセンブリを含み、該ファンアセンブリのそれぞれが前記低圧タービンに単一の駆動軸により連結される逆回転ファンアセンブリ(16)と、
前記逆回転ファンアセンブリの下流に位置し、前記低圧タービンと同じ方向のみに回転する、前記低圧タービンに直接連結される昇圧圧縮機(24)と、
を備えるガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。 - 前記低圧タービン(14)と前記逆回転ファンアセンブリ(16)との間に連結されるギアボックス(100)をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記低圧タービン(14)と前記ギアボックス(100)との間に連結される駆動軸(34)をさらに有する、請求項2に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記低圧タービン(14)と前記逆回転ファンアセンブリ(16)との間に連結され、略トロイダル断面形状を有し、実質的に前記駆動軸(34)を取り囲むギアボックス(100)をさらに有する、請求項3に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- その下流に前記昇圧圧縮機(24)が配置されるファンフレーム(13)をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記逆回転ファンアセンブリ(16)が、第1方向(80)に回転するように構成される前部ファンアセンブリ(50)と、反対の第2方向(82)に回転するように構成される後部ファンアセンブリ(52)とからなる、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記前部ファンアセンブリ(50)に連結される第1出力端(105)と、前記後部ファンアセンブリ(52)に連結される第2出力端(106)とからなるギアボックス(100)をさらに有する、請求項6に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記第1出力端(105)が前記前部ファンアセンブリ(50)を第1回転速度で駆動し、前記第2出力端(106)が前記後部ファンアセンブリ(52)を該第1回転速度と異なる第2回転速度で駆動する、請求項7に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記昇圧圧縮機(24)と前記低圧タービン(14)との間に連結される可撓継手(150)をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
- 前記低圧タービン(14)に連結される太陽歯車(300)と、
前記太陽歯車と互いにかみ合う複数の遊星歯車(302)であって、各々が第1直径を有する第1歯車部分(350)と、該第1直径と異なる第2直径(362)を有する第2歯車部分(352)とを含む前記複数の遊星歯車(302)とからなるギアボックス(100)をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のガスタービンエンジンアセンブリ(10)。
