Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional bathtub requires a care-giver having a special body strength or special skills to give a care-receiver unable to take a bath by him/her-self a bath, regardless of its type, and a bathtub facilitating giving the care-receiver a bath and lifting the care-receiver from the bath is desired especially for home care.SOLUTION: A bathtub body has a peripheral wall, a part of the peripheral wall is provided with an opening/closing side wall horizontally opened to be parallel with a bathtub floor, the bathtub internally has a movable sliding floor surface fully drawn out on the opened opening/closing side wall, the care-receiver is positioned on the drawn sliding floor surface in an appropriate posture, the sliding floor surface is housed into the bathtub together with the care-giver, and then the opening/closing side wall is closed to a position forming the entire peripheral wall of the bathtub to form the complete bathtub, thus the care-giver is able to readily give the care-receiver a bath.

Description

The present invention relates to a bathtub that can be accommodated in a bathtub while a part of the peripheral wall of the bathtub opens and closes and a bather is placed on a movable slide portion.

General bathtubs are made with dimensions and shapes that are intended for use by healthy adults.
For this reason, bathing for care recipients requires a lot of labor for bathing not only by the person but also by a caregiver.

The contents of the care recipients are wide, depending on the severity of the disability, so that there are seven levels from the support 1-2 required to the care degree 1-5 in the care insurance system.
The most important point in bathing and nursing problems is whether or not the person can take a bath on their own, and the most important issue in the nursing field is whether or not they can cross the side wall of the bathtub by themselves. However, it is a reality that bathing for a care recipient who does not have the power to cross the side wall of the bathtub by himself / herself requires a great effort of the caregiver.

Even if you do not straddle the bathtub side wall by yourself, if you can take a bath across the side wall of the bathtub with the help of a caregiver, it is still possible with the caregiver's own human power, In some cases, even with the assistance of a caregiver, standing walking in the bathroom does not remain in the first place, and it is necessary to use various devices such as hanging equipment installed in the bathroom, or by using human-powered naval tactics of multiple caregivers. It is necessary to have a caregiver sit on a bathtub chair installed in the bathtub, and the effort is far beyond the imagination of healthy people.

In the case of a bathtub in a facility that has been designed and built according to its purpose in advance, such as a nursing care facility, it may be possible to install a bathtub with appropriate equipment. The work requires the caregiver to have appropriate skills and cannot be easily supported by an inexperienced person for safety.
In addition, at home care sites, it is impossible to install bathing aids due to the structure of the bathroom and the volume of the space, and the number of caregivers who can work in the bathroom is restricted, so safe and easy care is required. The reality is that it is difficult for people to take a bath.

Conventionally, various devices have been made as a nursing bathtub. Bathing with a shallow bath tub, less straddling bathers, or with the bottom of the bath facing the waist of the bather, and part of the wall of the bathtub being movable up and down Bathtubs and hot tubs have been devised that allow the person to sit on the bottom and then raise the movable wall to the same height as the other peripheral walls, but they are not suitable for use by healthy people. It is a nursing-only bathtub, and it is not possible to provide a practical solution both economically and physically because it is necessary to be provided with a bathtub for a healthy person in a general household.

Japanese Patent No. 4183269 suggests a wall surface that slides a part of the peripheral wall of the bathtub up and down in order to solve the problem of the bathtub that cannot be shared by a healthy person and a disabled person who cannot easily cross the bathtub wall surface.
The structure of walking in the bathtub through an opening made by sliding a part of the peripheral wall of the bathtub before filling it into the bathtub is suitable for people with disabilities who do not straddle the bathtub wall but can walk on their own. It is effective.
However, bathing of care recipients who are difficult to walk on their own in this bathtub requires guidance from the slide part into the bathtub with the assistance of the caregiver, and in that case the peripheral wall itself on the bathtub body side excluding the slide part is the caregiver. This is an obstacle for the caregiver, and the physical burden on the caregiver is large.
In addition, bathing of a care recipient who cannot assist walking requires inserting the body of the bather through the gap of the slide part or crossing the peripheral wall of the bathtub body by some method. The caregiver's considerable labor and the operation of the special lifting equipment are required, and it cannot be said that this is a drastic solution to bathing for the care recipient.

Japanese Patent No. 4183269

An object of this invention is to provide the bathtub which a care recipient and a healthy person can use safely and comfortably.

The open / close side wall 2 is expanded horizontally, the slide floor 8 is pulled out from the bathtub body 1 to the top of the open / close side wall 2, the bather is placed on the slide floor 8, and the slide floor 8 is slid into the bathtub body 1 together with the bather. And store.
After the bather is stored in the bathtub main body 1, the hot water stored in the auxiliary tank 3 is supplied from the water supply hole 31 into the bathtub main body 1 by fixing the open / close side wall 2 to the bathing position and opening the stop valve 53.
A check valve 54 provided upstream of the water supply hole 31 prevents the hot water in the sanitary upper bathtub body 1 from flowing back to the auxiliary tank 3.
Hot water that is insufficient for sufficient bathing is replenished from the faucet 52 by switching the knob of the temperature adjusting mixing valve 51.
After bathing, the drain plug 16 of the drain hole 15 is removed and drained. After draining, the open / close side wall 2 is expanded horizontally and the sliding floor 8 is slid together with the bather to guide the bather out of the bathtub body 1.

FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line BB in FIG.
The packing 13 is fixed to the contact surface with the open / close side wall 2 on the bathtub main body 1 side by an appropriate method, and is compressed by the bathtub main body side surface of the open / close side wall 2 fixed at the bathing position. Prevent leakage of hot water in 1.

FIG. 10 is an explanatory view of a second embodiment of the bathtub according to the present invention.
Not only the fixing method of the open / close side wall 2 with the lock pin 4 shown in FIG. 1, but also there is a fixing method with a patching lock 41 having an appropriate tightening force and dimensions.
In addition, each component of the hot water supply device 5 described with reference to FIG. 8 can be either a manual product or an electric product according to the use of the bathtub.
From the capacity of the bathtub body 1 and the ability to supply hot water from the auxiliary tank 3, the stop valve 53 and the check valve 54 can be provided with a plurality of circuits as necessary.
Further, in order to ensure the vertical load transmission at the contact surface between the open / close side wall 2 and the bathroom floor surface 6 in a state where the open / close side wall 2 is deployed horizontally, a corrugate 24 (wave Plate) molding or the like may be performed to eliminate the adverse effect per piece due to full contact between the two.
