Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel supply apparatus, and more particularly to a fuel supply apparatus that detects leakage in a housing.
In a gas station or the like, for example, a fuel supply device having a nozzle for each supply oil type is installed, such as for gasoline supply and light oil supply.
In this type of fuel supply device, when fuel is supplied to a fuel tank (fueled supply body) of a customer's car, for example, fuel is accidentally supplied using a light oil supply nozzle where gasoline is to be supplied. In order to prevent different oil type accidents, an oil type discrimination function tends to be provided (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
In the fuel supply device having the oil type discrimination function, attention is paid to the fact that gasoline and light oil have different saturated vapor pressures (steam concentrations), and vapor (oil vapor) of residual oil in the fuel tank before refueling. ) Is applied to the vapor concentration detection sensor to detect the oil vapor concentration. Then, based on the detection result, the oil type of the remaining oil liquid in the fuel tank is determined, and the oil type of the remaining oil liquid in the fuel tank matches the oil type of the supply oil liquid stored in advance from the oil supply device. Only when this is done, refueling is possible and the refueling pump is activated.
As the vapor concentration detection sensor, for example, a semiconductor gas sensor that detects the oil vapor concentration of vapor is used. This semiconductor gas sensor detects a change in resistance value according to a difference in oil vapor concentration of gasoline, light oil or the like as a change in output voltage.
In addition, an intake / exhaust pump that sucks the vapor in the fuel tank is provided in the housing of the fuel supply device via a vapor suction line that opens at the tip of the fuel supply nozzle. After completion of oil type determination such as after refueling, a cleaning process is performed to remove the oil vapor adhering to the vapor concentration detection sensor by rotating the suction / exhaust pump reversely and blowing air in the housing to the vapor concentration detection sensor. ing.
In the above fuel supply device, for example, pipes arranged in the casing or seal portions applied to joint portions of each device (pump, flow meter, etc.) are deteriorated due to changes in temperature, humidity, vibration, etc. It has been studied to detect fuel leakage caused by the above.
Here, it is conceivable to provide a detection sensor for detecting a fuel leak in the housing, but in this case, a detection sensor is separately provided to detect the fuel leak, which increases the cost accordingly. turn into.
In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a fuel supply device that can detect a fuel leak in a casing without newly providing a detection sensor for detecting a fuel leak in the casing. .

According to the present invention, immediately before fuel supply, the air in the housing is supplied to the oil vapor concentration detecting means for detecting the type of fuel supply, the oil vapor concentration contained in the air in the housing is detected, and the detection is performed. The fuel vapor concentration detection means for detecting the type of fuel supply is used to determine whether or not the oil vapor concentration in the housing is greater than a predetermined value set in advance. This can also be used as a means, thereby realizing fuel leak detection in the housing while suppressing an increase in cost.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an embodiment of a fuel supply apparatus according to the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, a
A
Further, a
The
The
Therefore, the
The
The
Further, the
In the storage area (RAM or ROM) of the
The leakage detection determination program removes oil vapor adhering to the
In addition, the leakage detection determination program detects the oil vapor concentration detected by the
Further, the leakage detection determination program outputs the intake gas signal after the oil vapor concentration detected by the
The oil type discrimination program discriminates the oil type (gasoline or light oil) stored in the fuel tank by comparing the detection value detected by the
In general, gasoline and light oil are often used as oil types handled at a gas station, and therefore, in this embodiment, a case where oil type determination between gasoline and light oil is performed will be described as an example.
Gasoline and light oil are the same hydrocarbon system and the main component is saturated hydrocarbon (C n H n + 2 ), but in terms of the number of carbon, gasoline is in the range of C 4 to C 12 , and light oil is in the range of C 15 to C 20 . Consists of ingredients. That is, light oil is composed of components having a high boiling point (boiling point 250 to 300 ° C.), and gasoline is composed of components having a low boiling point (boiling
When discriminating between such light oil and gasoline, the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2B, in order to determine the oil type of the fuel tank from the output voltage of the

Hereinafter, the control process for the casing leak determination will be described with reference to FIG. This control process is started when the cleaning process is completed after refueling. Further, as described above, the threshold value A2 (determination value Aa) is stored in advance in the storage area (RAM or ROM) of the

In step S12, the detection timer is reset. Subsequently, in S13, it is checked whether or not the count time t1 of the detection timer has reached a predetermined detection time T1 set in advance. The detection time is set to a time required for leakage determination by the in-casing leakage determination means described later. In S13, when the count time t1 of the detection timer has not reached the predetermined detection time T1 set in advance (in the case of NO), the process proceeds to S14, and it is checked whether the

Subsequently, the process proceeds to S16, where the oil vapor concentration (M1) contained in the air in the
In the next S17, it is checked whether or not the measured value M1 is equal to or greater than a predetermined determination value Aa (threshold value shown in FIG. 4A). In S17, when the measured value M1 is equal to or higher than a predetermined determination value Aa (the threshold shown in FIG. 4A) (in the case of YES), the oil vapor concentration detected by the
