Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap member for a bathroom drain outlet, which can effectively trap hair.SOLUTION: A trap member 1 is provided in a drain outlet 21 which is provided in a floor 20 of a washing place of a bathroom. The trap member 1 has a plurality of vanes 3 radially provided between an annular frame 10 and a central shaft 4. Each of the vanes 3 is inclined in the same direction. When hot and cold water flows into the drain outlet 21, each of the vanes 3 undergoes force in the same rotational direction by the hot and cold water flowing thereinto, and the trap member 1 is rotated to make the hair trapped by each of the vanes 3.

Description

  The present invention relates to a trap member for trapping foreign matter at a bathroom drain outlet.

  When foreign matter such as hair flows into the drainage channel of the bathroom, the foreign matter adheres to the inner wall of the drainage channel, gradually narrows the channel, and eventually becomes almost impossible to drain. In order to prevent foreign matter from flowing into the drainage channel, a method is generally employed in which a filter member is disposed in advance at the drain outlet and the foreign matter is trapped by the filter member.   A bathroom drainage trap member installed at a bathroom drainage port to prevent foreign matter from flowing into a drainage channel following the drainage port, wherein a propeller member is disposed at the drainage port, and the propeller member is caused by inflowing water.
