Abstract

Claims (13)
- 燃焼器(10)であって、
a.燃焼チャンバ(20)と、
b.前記燃焼チャンバ(20)の少なくとも一部分を円周方向に囲みかつ外部表面(22)及び長手方向中心線(24)を形成した内部壁(16、18)と、
c.前記内部壁(16、18)の外部表面(22)上に配置された複数のタービュレータ(28)と、
d.前記内部壁(16、18)の少なくとも一部分を円周方向に囲みかつ該内部壁(16、18)との間にプレナム(40)を形成したスリーブ(36)と、
e.前記内部壁(16、18)の周りに位置しかつその少なくとも一部分の周りにベルマウス形状(42)を有する周辺部を形成した前記スリーブ(36)の終端部(38)と
を備える燃焼器(10)。 - 前記内部壁(16、18)が徐々に減少する外周を有する、請求項1記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記内部壁(16、18)の外部表面(22)上の所定の位置(34)に前記複数のタービュレータ(28)のより高い集中配置をさらに含む、請求項1又は請求項2記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記複数のタービュレータ(28)が、前記内部壁(16、18)から延びかつ該内部壁(16、18)からの遠位端に尖端部(33)を有する段付き突出部(30)を含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記スリーブ(36)内に複数のアパーチャ(44)をさらに含む、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記スリーブ(36)の終端部(38)の周辺部が、該周辺部の周りに連続ベルマウス形状(42)を有する、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記スリーブ(36)の終端部(38)が、前記内部壁(16、18)の長手方向中心線(24)に対して約45°に整列している、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記スリーブ(36)の終端部(38)が、前記内部壁(16、18)の長手方向中心線(24)に対して約90°に整列している、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記スリーブ(36)の終端部(38)が、前記内部壁(16、18)の長手方向中心線(24)に対して約135°に整列している、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記複数のタービュレータ(28)の所定の位置(34)にわたり流体流れを選択的に導くための手段をさらに含む、請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 前記流体流れを選択的に導くための手段が、前記複数のタービュレータ(28)の約90%よりも少ない範囲にわたっている、請求項10記載の燃焼器(10)。
- 燃焼チャンバ(20)を冷却する方法であって、
a.前記燃焼チャンバ(20)の外部表面(22)に複数のタービュレータ(28)を設置するステップと、
b.前記複数のタービュレータ(28)の所定の部分(34)にわたり流体流れを選択的に導くステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記燃焼チャンバ(20)の外部表面(22)上の所定の位置(34)に前記複数のタービュレータ(28)を集中配置するステップをさらに含む、請求項12記載の方法。
