Abstract
【解決手段】搭載用車両タンクにおける燃料補給の圧縮熱を、タンク外部のラジエータを介してタンク内の熱吸収体によって、搭載用タンク内部から排出し、タンク内の熱吸収体から外部ラジエータ(及び/又は関連するブロワシステム)への冷媒の循環に、燃料ガスが高圧燃料補給所から低圧搭載用タンクへとタービンを横断するときの燃料ガスの力学的エネルギーによって出力を供給する装置である。タービンはガス冷却システムに出力を与える。

Description
本発明は、燃料補給所で圧縮天然ガス及び水素用の車両への搭載用の車両ガス燃料タンクへの効率的な高圧燃料補給用のシステムに関するものであり、該燃料補給所では、大容量高圧燃料貯蔵タンクが消費者(利用者、民間)用分配手段を介して車両に燃料を提供する。
本発明の原理による特定の制御構造及びパラメータ、センサ、弁の配置及びシステムは、全体の車両設計を考慮したものであることが好ましい。例えば、圧力、温度及び他のセンサ及び制御部は、冷媒流体の流れファン速度及び継続期間、及び車両タンクの正式な動作プロトコルに関する他のパラメータ、燃料補給用の弁システム、及び車両作動の過程における加圧燃料の消費を開始、停止及び調整するために、タンク及び/又はライン圧力及び温度を計測するように設けられてもよい。複数のタンクアセンブリで有用な車両制御システムの実施例は、本願と同一の出願人に譲渡され、2004年12月2日に米国特許商標庁に出願された、「水素車両ガスの用法及び燃料補給システム」である、本願と同時係属の米国特許出願番号11/001、881号明細書に含まれている。

Claims (15)
- 燃料ガス貯蔵用の搭載用タンクを有する車両上のタンク内の流体の熱吸収媒体を循環する循環システムを備える装置であって、前記タンクが燃料補給所において燃料ラインを介して高圧下で燃料補給され、前記循環システムが、
1)前記タンク内の導管中を流れるとともに、前記搭載用タンクの燃料補給から生じる圧縮熱を吸収する、前記流体の熱吸収媒体と、
2)導管回路内で前記媒体が循環する導管回路、及び前記タンク外部のラジエータへの導管の相互連結部であって、そこで前記媒体により吸収された熱が前記タンク外部の環境へ排出されることと、
3)前記高圧ガス補給所と前記搭載用タンクとの間の前記燃料ライン中に介装されて、前記燃料ライン内のガス流の力学的エネルギーを得て、前記導管回路を介して前記熱吸収媒体を循環させる循環システムを作動させる、タービンと、
を備える、装置。 - 前記タービンは、前記循環システムの少なくとも一つの他の構成部材に相互接続されて、前記導管回路を介して前記流体の熱吸収媒体を循環させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記媒体を冷却するための補助的なブロワを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ブロワは、前記タービンに機械的に連結されている、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記タービンは、電気的ジェネレータに機械的に連結されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記電気的ジェネレータは、前記導管内の媒体を循環するためのポンプ、及び前記媒体を冷却するために配置されたブロアに、動力を供給する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記タンク内の熱吸収体を、前記タンク外部の前記ラジエータに相互連結しているヒートパイプを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記導管内を循環している前記熱吸収媒体は、閉ループ中を循環する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記タンク内の前記媒体用の流体循環回路中の導管ループを環状に囲む複数の熱吸収フィンを備え、
前記媒体によって吸収された熱は、外部ラジエータへの前記導管中を循環する流体に移動して、該熱はそこで排出されて、前記流体はその後タンク内部に再循環する、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記ラジエータは、
1)車両フレームアセンブリ上の熱排出エレメント構造と、
2)前記熱排出エレメントに隣接する車両フレームアセンブリ内の流体循環ループと、
を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 複数の搭載用タンクを備え、少なくとも一つのタンクが、
1)前記タンク内の導管中を流れるとともに、前記搭載用タンクの燃料補給から生じる圧縮熱を吸収する熱吸収媒体と、
2)前記導管と前記タンク外部のラジエータとの相互連結部であって、そこで吸収された熱が前記タンク外部の環境へ排出される、相互連結部と、
3)前記高圧ガス補給所と前記搭載用タンクとの間の前記燃料ライン中に介装されて、前記燃料ライン内のガス流の力学的エネルギーを得て、前記導管回路内の前記熱吸収媒体を循環させる前記循環システムを作動させる、タービンと、
を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の装置。 - 前記複数のタンクの充填シーケンスは、全てのタンクが並行して同時に充填される、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記電気的ジェネレータが、ポンプに動力を供給して、前記導管内の前記媒体を循環する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記電気的ジェネレータが、前記媒体を冷却するブロワに動力を供給する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のタンクの充填シーケンスが、全てのタンクが一度に直列の順で個々に充填される、請求項11に記載の装置。
