このmiRNAセットへのmiRNAの組み入れは、Wilcoxon検定のp値が小さい順に繰り返し、最大のEfficacyを得られた時点の遺伝子(ポリヌクレオチド)のセットを求めた。その結果を図3に示す。図3の縦軸は胃がんの補助化学療法感受性を判定できる確率を、横軸は表1に記載の配列番号の順に増やした、胃がんの補助化学療法感受性の有無の判定に必要なmiRNA(ポリヌクレオチド)の合計数をそれぞれ示す。例えば、横軸の数字が5のときは表1の配列番号1〜5のmiRNA(ポリヌクレオチド)の組み合わせで予測した結果を、20のときは配列番号1〜20のmiRNA(ポリヌクレオチド)の組み合わせで予測した結果がそれぞれ示されている。13種類のmiRNA(ポリヌクレオチド)のセットの場合にEfficacyが最大であり、81%であった。以上のとおり、5−FU系プロドラッグによる補助化学療法感受性の有無を非常に高い確率で判定できるmiRNA(ポリヌクレオチド)のセットが見出された。
