Claims (19)
- 隆起領域及び陥凹領域を含む非ランダムテクスチャを含む外面を有し、該隆起領域が、そのような外面の少なくとも一部分の周りに繰返し方式で配置され、かつ平均軸線方向距離及び平均半径方向距離だけ少なくとも1つの隣接する隆起領域から分離される、
ことを特徴とする血管閉塞装置。 - コアワイヤを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記コアワイヤは、1次構成に形成され、更に
前記コアワイヤは、装置の前記外面の少なくとも一部分を形成する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の血管閉塞装置。 - 前記コアワイヤは、テクスチャ加工されることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記コアワイヤの周囲に包まれた1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントは、前記コアワイヤと接触することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントと前記コアワイヤの間に間隙が存在することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 金、ニッケル、チタン、タンタル、プラチナ、及びこれらの合金から構成される群から選択された金属を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントは、プラチナであり、及び/又は前記コアワイヤは、プラチナであることを特徴とする請求項5から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 螺旋状コイルであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 展開時に自己形成する2次形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記2次形状は、複数の接続ループセグメントを含む2次形状から構成される群から選択され、
各セグメントが、隣接するセグメントとは異なる平面にあり、クローバーの葉形、螺旋形、8の字形、花形、渦形、卵形、ランダム形、及び実質的に球形である、
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の血管閉塞装置。 - 脱離接合部を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 前記脱離可能接合部は、機械的、水圧的、電気的、電磁的、熱的、又は音波的手段によって脱離可能であることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 動脈瘤を少なくとも部分的に塞ぐ方法であって、
請求項1から請求項14のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞装置を動脈瘤内に導入する段階、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項3に記載の血管閉塞装置を作る方法であって、
テクスチャコアワイヤを1次螺旋形状に巻き、それによってテクスチャ外面を有する血管閉塞装置を作る段階、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の血管閉塞装置を作る方法であって、
1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントをコアワイヤの周囲に巻く段階と、
巻かれた1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントを有する前記コアワイヤをマンドレルの周りに巻いて微小コイルを形成する段階と、
を含み、
前記フィラメントの少なくとも一部分が、前記コアワイヤが血管閉塞装置の外面の一部分を形成し、それによってテクスチャ外面を有する血管閉塞装置を作るようにオープンピッチ構成に巻かれる、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項7に記載の血管閉塞装置を作る方法であって、
1つ又はそれよりも多くの溶解可能、分解可能、又は収縮可能な材料で少なくとも部分的に被覆されたコアワイヤを準備する段階と、
1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントを前記コアワイヤの周囲に巻く段階と、
前記分解可能又は収縮可能な材料を溶解、分解、又は収縮させ、それによって前記1つ又はそれよりも多くのフィラメントと前記コアワイヤの間に間隙を有する血管閉塞装置を作る段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記材料は、熱の印加時に分解され、又は該材料は、溶媒によって溶解されることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
