Abstract
Description
スカンジナビア国の股関節に関する登録情報を参照して既に明らかになっているように、10年後の残存率が95%以上となるシステム(最も良く固定されたまたは固定されていない股関節の骨幹または窩のそれぞれの種類のいずれの場合であっても)さえある。
これに対して4つの理由が挙げられる。
ジョイントソケットのための材料は、身体の中で20年以上経年変化しないことを要する。
ジョイントソケットの材料は、非常に長い期間にわたる耐摩耗性を有することを要する。
ジョイントソケットの表面の材料は、周囲の骨材と永続的かつ安定的に接合されることを要する。
ジョイントソケットの材料は、周囲の骨材に機械的負荷を均等に導入することを要する。
図1は、本発明に係るジョイントソケットを用いた全体的な股関節内部人工器官を示している。
図2は、本発明に係るジョイントソケットの第1の例示的な実施形態の断面図を示している。

全体的な股関節内部人工器官2で、ジョイントヘッド3は、シャフト6の近位端に取り付けられており、大腿骨の骨髄の溝の中に埋め込まれる。
部分的な股関節内部人工器官の場合は、対照的に、ジョイントソケット1だけが骨盤の骨材の中に固定される。
ジョイントソケット1は、耐経年劣化性の材料からなり、ジョイントヘッド3とともに一組の低摩擦の滑動部を形成し、本発明に係るジョイントヘッド3は、インプラント表面4を備えている。かかるインプラント表面4は、多孔質表面を備えた材料で形成されている。ジョイントソケット1の等弾性構造は、海綿骨材の値と本発明に係る弾性係数が適合するように特別に設計された材料によって生理学的荷重伝達機構が達成されている。
本発明に係るジョイントソケット1の等弾性構造は、例えば、強度や耐力などの機械的特性が、ジョイントソケットが埋め込まれた骨材の機械的特性に相当するのであれば、備えている。

Claims (14)
- 股関節内部人工器官(2)のためのジョイントソケット(1)であって、
前記ジョイントソケット(1)はもっぱら耐経年劣化性材料からなり、ジョイントヘッド(3)とともに、一組の低摩耗滑動部を形成し、前記ジョイントソケット(1)は多孔質表面を備えた材料で形成されたインプラント表面(4)を備え、さらに前記ジョイントヘッド(3)と協働する前記ジョイントソケット(1)の等弾性構造と、弾性係数が海綿骨材の値に適合するように特別に設計された材料とによって生理学的荷重伝達機構が達成される
ことを特徴とするジョイントソケット。 - 前記ジョイントソケット(1)のための材料が、0.3GPaから2.0GPaの間、好ましくは0.5GPaから1.5GPaの間の弾性係数を有する複合材料である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記ジョイントソケット(1)のための複合材料が、好ましくは0.5GPaから1.5GPaの範囲および特定の好みによっては0.8GPaから1.2GPaの範囲の弾性係数を備えている
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記複合材料が、所定の比率のポリマーからなる
ことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 第2の材料を用いた強化材が前記ポリマーに備えられている
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記強化材が、金属、セラミック、グラファイト若しくは相対的により高強度の第2のポリマーを含む、繊維または粒子である
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記インプラント表面(4)が、チタン、タンタル、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸カルシウム若しくはバイオガラスといった不活性物質または生物活性物質からなる
ことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記安定化されたUHMWPEが、酸化防止剤の添加によって耐経年劣化性および耐酸化性となっている
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記UHMWPEへの前記酸化防止剤供給がビタミンEである
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 粉末のビタミンEが、前記UHMWPE粉末の焼結重合前、中または後に供給される
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記ジョイントソケットは、単一の材料からなる
ことを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のジョイントソケット。 - 前記インプラント表面(4)が、チタンまたはリン酸カルシウムの粒子を備えている
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のジョイントソケット。 - セラミックはめ込み材(5)が一体化された前記インプラント表面(4)に基づくそのモジュール構造によって特徴付けられている請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のジョイントソケット。
- 前記インプラント表面(4)が、チタンまたはリン酸カルシウムの粒子を備えている
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のジョイントソケット。
