Abstract
Description

20.強化された複合補強材を加工する方法であって:
ウェブと、ウェブから反対方向に延びた一対のフランジを有する複合構造体を形成し、これには、複合布層をウェブとフランジの間の領域の積層された複合テーププライの上に形成することが含まれ;
キャップ表面をフランジに連結させ;
複合布層をフランジに連結したキャップ表面に形成し;
ウェブ、フランジ及びキャップの間に補強用充填材を配置し;そして、
接着剤を使用して、補強用充填材を複合構造体とキャップ上の複合布層に結合させる
ことを含む方法。

22.各第1及び第2チャネルの対向する表面に複合布層を配置し;

24.航空機用途のために強化された複合補強材を加工する方法であって:
一方向複合テープの複数プライの積層体を形成し;
積層体を第1及び第2Cチャネル、キャップとベースに形成し;
Cチャネル、キャップとベースを、ウェブと、ウェブの各端部に一対のフランジを有するI断面構造体に組み立てて;
複合布を、ウェブとキャップ及びウェブとベースの交差点において半径充填材区域を形成する領域のCチャネル、キャップ及びベースの表面に適用し;
補強用充填材を構造用接着剤で包み;
補強用充填材と接着剤を半径充填材区域に配置し;
アセンブリを硬化させる
ことを含む方法。
積層複合テープでできたI断面形状の構造体であって、ウェブと、ウェブの各端部に第1及び第2セットのフランジを含み、一対のCチャネル、ベース、及びキャップを含み、Cチャネルがウェブとフランジの間に半径領域を含み、向かい合って互いに連結してウェブを画定しており、キャップが第1セットのフランジに連結し、ベースが第2セットのフランジに連結しており、キャップとベースが半径領域においてウェブとそれぞれ交差して半径充填材区域を画定している構造体;
半径充填材区域を画定しているI断面形状の構造体の領域を覆っている複合布層;
半径充填材区域の補強用充填材;並びに、
充填材を囲み、充填材を半径充填材区域において複合布に結合させる接着剤の層
を含む複合補強材。
Claims (10)
- 複合補強材であって、
積層複合テープからできている第1、第2及び第3部材であって、第1及び第2部材によりウェブとウェブから延びた一対のフランジが画定され、第3部材がフランジに連結し且つウェブに対しておおむね横方向に延在しているもので、第1、第2及び第3複合部材が交差して空隙を形成している第1、第2及び第3部材;
空隙に配置され実質的に空隙を充填している充填材;
充填材の領域の各部材の少なくとも1つの複合布層;並びに
充填材を囲み、充填材を複合布に結合させる接着剤の層
を含む複合補強材。 - 第1及び第2部材がウェブと各フランジの間の半径領域を含み、布層が半径領域を覆っている、請求項1に記載の複合補強材。
- 接着剤の層が構造用接着剤の折り畳まれたシートを含む、請求項1に記載の複合補強材。
- 少なくとも1つの複合布層が、エポキシマトリクスに保持されたグラファイト繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の複合補強材。
- 接着剤の層と少なくとも1つの複合布層とが、半径領域を越えて延びている、請求項1に記載の複合補強材。
- 複合部材の少なくとも1つの複合布層が互いに相対的にずれている、請求項1に記載の複合補強材。
- 複合補強材の加工方法であって:
複合繊維テープを使用して、各々がフランジと半径部分とを有する一対の複合チャネルを形成し;
各チャネルの半径部分の上に複合繊維布の層を配置し;
複合繊維テープを使用してベースを形成し;
ベースの少なくとも一部の上に複合繊維布の層を配置し;
充填材周囲に接着剤の層を配置し;
チャネルとベースの組み立てを行い;
チャネルとベースの半径部分の間の半径充填材区域に充填材と接着剤の層を配置し;そして
アセンブリを硬化させる
ことを含む方法。 - チャネル、ベース及びキャップの形成がそれぞれ、一方向強化繊維を有する複合テープの複数のプライを積み重ねることを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 充填材周囲に接着剤の層を配置することが、接着剤のシートで充填材を包むことによって行われる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 複合繊維布の層を、半径充填材区域の外側の各Cチャネル、ベース及びキャップの部分に配置し;
接着剤の層を、半径充填材区域の外側の部分の複合繊維布の層間に導入する
