Abstract
【解決手段】プリコーディングを通して信号を伝送するにおいて、開ループ伝送モードが適用されるか、それとも閉ループ伝送モードが適用されるかによって互いに異なるように規定されたコードブックサブセットを用いることによって、フィードバックオーバヘッドを減少させる方法を提供する。このとき、各伝送モード別コードブックサブセットは、各伝送モード別に最適化されると仮定する。

Claims (11)
- 送受信側間に予め決定されたコードブックから所定プリコーディング行列を選択し、
前記選択されたプリコーディング行列を用いて送信信号にプリコーディングを行うことを含み、
前記選択されたプリコーディング行列は、前記送信側が開ループ伝送方式又は閉ループ伝送方式のうちいずれの方式を用いるかによって、前記コードブックの互いに異なるサブセットから選択されることを特徴とする信号伝送方法。 - 前記送信側が2個の伝送アンテナを用いて信号を伝送する場合、
前記コードブックは、
- 前記送信側が前記閉ループ伝送方式を用いる場合、
前記送信側は、前記コードブックのうちランク2である場合のインデックス0に対応するプリコーディング行列を用いない、請求項2に記載の信号伝送方法。 - 前記送信側が前記開ループ伝送方式を用いる場合、
前記プリコーディング段階では、固定されたいずれか一つのプリコーディング行列が用いられる、請求項2に記載の信号伝送方法。 - 前記固定されたいずれか一つのプリコーディング行列は、
- 前記送信側が2個の伝送アンテナを用いて信号を伝送し、前記送信側が前記閉ループ伝送方式を用いる場合、
前記プリコーディング段階で用いられるプリコーディング行列は、
- 前記送信側が前記閉ループ伝送方式を用いる場合、前記信号伝送方法は、
前記受信側からプリコーディング行列選択のためのフィードバック情報を受信することをさらに含み、
前記フィードバック情報は、ランク2である場合に対して2ビットの長さを有し、ランク1である場合に対して1ビットの長さを有する、請求項1に記載の信号伝送方法。 - 受信信号によって送受信側間に予め決定されたコードブックから前記送信側が用いる所定プリコーディング行列に対する情報を生成し、
前記生成されたプリコーディング行列情報を前記送信側に伝送することを含み、
前記コードブックは、閉ループ伝送方式が用いられる場合と開ループ伝送方式が用いられる場合に互いに異なるサブセットを用いるように設定され、
前記プリコーディング行列に対する情報は、前記コードブックのうち前記閉ループ伝送方式が用いられる場合に用いることができるサブセット内の特定プリコーディング行列を示すように設定されることを特徴とするフィードバック情報伝送方法。 - 前記送信側が2個の伝送アンテナを用いて信号を伝送する場合、
前記コードブックは、
- 前記閉ループ伝送方式が用いられる場合に用いることができるサブセットは、前記コードブックのうちランク2である場合のインデックス0に対応するプリコーディング行列を除いたものである、請求項9に記載のフィードバック情報伝送方法。
- 前記プリコーディング行列に対する情報は、ランク2である場合に対して2ビットの長さを有し、ランク1である場合に対して1ビットの長さを有する、請求項10に記載のフィードバック情報伝送方法。
