Claims (20)
- 対象において高眼圧を下げる方法であって、治療上有効な量の、以下の式Iに係るビタミンD化合物を少なくとも一方の眼に投与し、その際、対象の眼内圧は少なくとも15%低下させる方法。
R1及びR2は、H、メチル若しくは3’−ヒドロキシプロピリジンであり、又は=CH2若しくはメチレンとして一緒にされ;R3及びR4は、H、アルキル(1〜3の炭素)、アルコキシから選択され、互いに同一であっても異なっていてもよく;Xは、ヒドロキシル基又は保護されたヒドロキシル基であり;Aが酸素であれば、そのときR4は存在しないという条件でAは酸素又は炭素であり、C及びDは、Hであるか又は=CH2として一緒にされる基である。] - 前記ビタミンD化合物が、1日当たり約0.2μg〜約1mgに及ぶ量で投与される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が外用製剤として投与される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記外用製剤が点眼剤である請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が、1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3(1,25−(OH)2D3)、2−メチレン−19−ノル−(20S)−1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3、1α,25−ジヒドロキシ−19−ノル−ビタミンD2、2−(3’−ヒドロキシプロピリデン)−19−ノル−1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3(E−異性体)、17−20デヒドロ−2−メチレン−19−ノル−(20S)−1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3(E及びZ−異性体)、26−ホモ−1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3、26,27−ジメチル−1α,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3、25−ヒドロキシビタミンD3から成る群から選択される請求項1記載の方法。
- 対象において緑内障を予防する方法であって、緑内障を発症するリスクのある対象に、治療上有効な量の、以下の式Iに係るビタミンD化合物を少なくとも一方の眼に投与することを含み、その際、緑内障を発症するのが妨げられる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が、1日当たり約0.2μg〜約1mgに及ぶ量で少なくとも一方の眼に投与される請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が5μg/日より多い用量で投与される請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が外用製剤として投与される請求項9記載の方法。
- 対象の眼において眼内圧を下げる方法であって、
a)第1の眼のベースライン眼内圧を測定する工程と、
b)第2の眼のベースライン眼内圧を測定する工程と、
c)治療上有効な量の以下の式Iに係るビタミンD化合物を第1の眼及び第2の眼に投与する工程と、
d)第1の眼及び第2の眼の眼内圧を測定する工程と、
を含み、
第1の眼及び第2の眼の高眼圧が少なくとも15%下げられる方法。 - 前記ビタミンD化合物が、1日当たり約0.2μg〜約1mgに及ぶ量で投与される請求項13記載の方法。
- 前記ビタミンD化合物が外用製剤として投与される請求項13記載の方法。
- 対象の眼において眼内圧を下げる方法であって、
