Abstract
Description
In the present invention, particulate matter (Particulate Matter; hereinafter referred to as PM) in exhaust gas of a diesel engine is collected by a diesel particulate filter (hereinafter referred to as DPF) and discharged to the outside. The present invention relates to an exhaust gas purification system that reduces the amount of PM.
An exhaust gas purification system that collects PM discharged from a diesel engine with a filter called DPF and reduces the amount of PM discharged to the outside is known. As such an exhaust gas purification system, a system using a continuous regeneration type DPF device including a DPF and a DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) provided on the upstream side of the DPF is known.
In the continuous regeneration type DPF device, when the exhaust gas temperature is high, PM trapped in the DPF is continuously burned and purified, and the DPF is self-regenerated, but when the exhaust gas temperature is low, the DOC Since the temperature is not lowered and activated, it becomes difficult to oxidize PM and self-regenerate DPF. As a result, PM accumulates on the DPF and the clogging of the DPF proceeds, causing a problem of increased exhaust pressure.
Therefore, in the exhaust gas purification system, when the PM accumulation amount in the DPF exceeds a predetermined amount, the fuel is subjected to multistage delayed injection (multi-injection) or post-injection (post-injection) in the cylinder (in-cylinder). DPF regeneration is performed in which the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing into the DPF is forcibly raised to burn and remove the PM collected in the DPF.
Multistage delayed injection (multi-injection) is performed in order to raise the temperature of the exhaust gas discharged from the engine and raise the temperature of the DOC to the catalyst activation temperature. In post-injection (post-injection), a large amount of unburned fuel is supplied into the exhaust gas, and the supplied unburned fuel is oxidized (combusted) at the DOC, so that the exhaust gas temperature at the DPF inlet is burned by PM. This is done to raise the temperature above that.
Further, in the exhaust gas purification system, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) control is performed in which part of the exhaust gas discharged from the engine is recirculated to the intake side to reduce NOx.
In this EGR control, an EGR pipe that connects an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold of the engine is provided, and an EGR valve that is provided in the EGR pipe is adjusted to adjust the opening degree of the EGR valve, whereby EGR that is the amount of exhaust gas recirculated to the intake side The amount (or EGR rate) is controlled. The EGR pipe is provided with an EGR cooler for cooling the exhaust gas recirculated to the intake side.
In conventional exhaust gas purification systems, if EGR control is performed during DPF regeneration (during post-injection), exhaust gas containing a large amount of unburned fuel is recirculated to the intake side, causing engine parts (piston rings, etc.) May be damaged or the performance of the EGR cooler may be deteriorated. Therefore, the conventional exhaust gas purification system has a problem that the EGR control cannot be performed during the DPF regeneration, and the exhaust gas during the DPF regeneration deteriorates.
Therefore, the present applicant performs the exhaust pipe injection in which fuel is directly injected into the exhaust pipe instead of the post injection (post injection), and performs the EGR control even during the DPF regeneration. An exhaust gas purification system that improves exhaust gas is being proposed. In this exhaust gas purification system, the opening degree of the EGR valve is determined based on the engine speed and the fuel injection amount.
By the way, in the DPF regeneration, when the flow rate of the exhaust gas increases during the DPF regeneration, a large amount of fuel must be injected to raise the temperature of the exhaust gas, which causes a problem of deterioration of fuel consumption. In order to suppress such a deterioration in fuel consumption, the exhaust gas purification system controls the boost pressure of the turbocharger low in order to efficiently raise the temperature of the exhaust gas by reducing the flow rate of the exhaust gas as much as possible during DPF regeneration. Is common.
However, in the above-described exhaust gas purification system that performs EGR control during DPF regeneration, if the accelerator pedal is depressed during DPF regeneration to accelerate the vehicle, the engine speed and fuel injection amount increase and the exhaust manifold pressure increases. However, since the pressure (boost pressure) of the intake manifold remains low, a large amount of exhaust gas is recirculated to the intake side. At this time, since the opening degree of the EGR valve is controlled regardless of the boost pressure, the EGR valve is opened despite a small amount of air taken in by the engine, and a large amount of exhaust gas is recirculated to the intake side. The amount will be excessive.
If the EGR amount becomes excessive, the flow rate of the exhaust gas supplied to the continuous regeneration type DPF device decreases. As a result, the air-fuel ratio λ, which is the ratio of the air amount to the fuel amount, falls below 1, and unburned fuel is discharged at the DOC. It becomes impossible to oxidize. Then, the unburned fuel is discharged into the atmosphere without being treated, and there arises a problem that white smoke or black smoke is generated.
Furthermore, if the EGR amount becomes excessive, the flow rate of exhaust gas supplied to the turbine of the turbocharger also decreases, so that the turbine rotation delays. As a result, the boost pressure is delayed, resulting in insufficient power, resulting in poor acceleration performance. Problem arises.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to solve the above problems, suppress the deterioration of exhaust gas during DPF regeneration, and even when the vehicle is accelerated during DPF regeneration, white smoke and black smoke are not generated, It is an object to provide an exhaust gas purification system capable of obtaining an excellent acceleration performance.

The acceleration EGR valve control unit further turns the EGR valve on for a predetermined time when the fuel injection amount exceeds a determination threshold determined according to the engine speed during regeneration of the diesel particulate filter. You may make it control to close.
According to the present invention, exhaust gas that suppresses deterioration of exhaust gas during DPF regeneration and does not generate white smoke and black smoke even when the vehicle is accelerated during DPF regeneration, and can provide sufficient acceleration performance.

As shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B, the

If YES is determined in the step S2, the process proceeds to a step S5.
If NO is determined in step S2, in step S3, the acceleration EGR valve control unit 176 increases the engine speed exceeding a predetermined threshold, and the vehicle speed increases exceeding a predetermined threshold. In addition, it is determined whether the fuel injection amount has increased beyond a predetermined threshold, and it is determined whether the vehicle has started and accelerated. If YES is determined in the step S3, the process proceeds to a step S5.
If NO is determined in step S3, in step S4, the acceleration EGR valve control unit 176 obtains a determination threshold value by referring to the determination threshold map 177 based on the engine speed, and the fuel injection amount is determined. It is determined whether it is larger than the threshold value. If YES is determined in the step S4, the process proceeds to a step S5. If NO is determined in step S4, the control is terminated.
In step S5, the acceleration EGR valve control unit 176 controls the
As described above, in the exhaust gas purification system according to the present embodiment, the acceleration EGR valve control unit 176 that controls the
When the
Further, since the amount of exhaust gas recirculated to the intake side (EGR amount) becomes 0, the flow rate of the exhaust gas supplied to the continuous regeneration
Further, in the exhaust gas purification system according to the present embodiment, the
That is, according to the present invention, white smoke or the like is not generated even when the vehicle is suddenly accelerated during DPF regeneration while suppressing deterioration of exhaust gas during DPF regeneration, and sufficient acceleration performance can be obtained. An exhaust gas purification system can be realized.
Further, in the exhaust gas purification system according to the present embodiment, even when the vehicle is started and accelerated during DPF regeneration, the
Furthermore, in the exhaust gas purification system according to the present embodiment, the
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it is needless to say that various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
