Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell module.
A fuel cell is a device that generally obtains electric energy using hydrogen and oxygen as fuel. Since this fuel cell is excellent in terms of the environment and can realize high energy efficiency, it has been widely developed as a future energy supply system.
In general, a fuel cell has a large output obtained by stacking a plurality of fuel cells to form a fuel cell stack. Patent Document 1 discloses a reformer-integrated fuel cell in which a reformer is disposed on the upper part of a stack of fuel cells. In this technique, the oxidant gas flows through the reaction gas introduction member and is introduced into the lower end of each fuel cell.
By the way, in the fuel cell module configured to burn the fuel off gas that has not been used for power generation on one end side of the fuel cell as in the technology according to Patent Document 1, the temperature on one end side of the fuel cell is high, There may be a temperature difference that the temperature at the other end is low. Further, in the fuel cell module configured to supply the oxidant gas supplied to the power generation of the fuel cell to the other end side of the fuel cell, the temperature of the other end side of the fuel cell decreases, There is a possibility that the temperature difference in the vertical direction becomes large.
An object of this invention is to provide the fuel cell module which can make the temperature difference in a fuel cell small.
A first fuel cell module according to the present invention includes a fuel cell stack in which a plurality of fuel cells that generate power with an oxidant gas and a fuel gas are stacked in a casing, and one end of each fuel cell. Using the oxidant off-gas, which is disposed between the arranged reformer, one end side of each fuel cell and the reformer, and was not used for power generation of the fuel cell, A combustion section that burns combustion off gas that has not been provided, and a first side surface along the stacking direction of the fuel cells in the fuel cell stack, and reforms the oxidant gas that is used for power generation of the fuel cells. Between the fuel cell and the oxidant gas introduction member for supplying the fuel cell to the other end of the fuel cell after flowing in this order from one end to the other end of the fuel cell, and the fuel cell stack Oxidant gas Side combustion off-gas flow path provided on the opposite side of the inlet member, first combustion off-gas outlet flow path formed between the reformer and the oxidant gas introduction member, reformer, and side combustion off-gas flow And a second combustion off-gas outlet passage formed between the first combustion off-gas outlet passage and the first combustion off-gas outlet passage so that the flow rate of the combustion off-gas in the first combustion off-gas outlet passage is the second combustion off-gas outlet passage. It is characterized by being configured to be larger than the flow rate of the combustion off gas in the flow path.
According to the first fuel cell module of the present invention, the oxidant gas flowing in the oxidant gas introduction member can be efficiently heated by the combustion off gas in the combustion section. Thereby, the temperature difference in the direction from the one end side of the fuel cell to the other end side can be reduced.
The said structure WHEREIN: You may provide the flow volume adjustment means for making the flow volume of the combustion off gas in a 1st combustion off gas derivation flow path become larger than the flow volume of the combustion off gas in a 2nd combustion off gas derivation flow path. . Further, the flow resistance of the combustion off gas in the first combustion off gas outlet flow path may be configured to be smaller than the flow resistance of the combustion off gas in the second combustion off gas outlet flow path. Further, the bottom surface of the reformer may be inclined upward toward the first combustion off-gas outlet passage. Furthermore, it is good also as a structure where the flow path volume of the 1st combustion off gas derivation flow path is larger than the flow path volume of the 2nd combustion off gas derivation flow path.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the fuel cell module which can make small the temperature difference in a fuel cell can be provided.
Hereinafter, modes for carrying out the present invention will be described.
FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view including a cross section of the

Oxygen electrode: 1 / 2O 2 + 2e − → O 2− (solid electrolyte)
Fuel electrode: O 2− (solid electrolyte) + H 2 → H 2 O + 2e −

A

As shown in FIG. 3A, the

FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the overall configuration of the
The inlet of the oxidant gas of the
The fuel gas (fuel offgas) that has not been used for power generation in the
On the side of the

Further, in the

FIG. 6A is a perspective view showing the oxidant
FIG. 6B is a perspective view of the oxidant
The
Note that the first combustion off-gas flow path resistance in the first combustion off-gas
