Description

The present invention relates to a synthetic resin molded product whose surface is decorated with an insert label.

In a container for cosmetics or the like in which decoration in a package occupies a large portion of the product power, it is desired that the product image is greatly improved by exhibiting various decorating properties by painting, printing, and the like.
As one of methods for imparting such a decorating property, there is a method in which an insert label is set in advance in a mold as an insert material and is attached to the surface of the molded product simultaneously with the molding of the molded product.

The decoration method using this insert label (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as “label”) achieves label sticking at the same time as molding of the molded product, and does not require a separate separate sticking operation. Since there is no step between the surface of the product and the label, it can be seen that the molded product and the label are integrated, and a strong and stable sticking of the label to the molded product can be reliably obtained. Excellent operational effects are exhibited.
For example, Patent Document 1 describes an invention related to an insert label.

FIG. 6 is a longitudinal sectional view showing an example of a layer structure of an insert label that has been generally used conventionally.
This label 111 is formed by forming a printed layer 113 on the surface of an opaque base material layer 112 made of synthetic paper, and this printed layer 113 is a protective layer 116 made of a varnish that contains an antistatic agent for preventing electrostatic charge. In addition, an adhesive layer 115 is laminated on the back surface to be bonded and fixed to the surface of the synthetic resin molded product by insert molding.

Here, the decoration method with this type of insert label has advantages such as good appearance and high productivity as described above, while the decoration mode is flat, so that the depth is deep, In addition, there is a problem that the so-called eye catching effect is poor, such as a three-dimensional visual effect not being sufficiently exhibited.

Therefore, the present invention has a technical problem of providing a variety of textures and a deep three-dimensional visual effect to the decorating method using the insert label, and the insert label exhibits a high eye-catching effect. An object of the present invention is to provide a synthetic resin molded product.

The main configuration of the present invention related to the means for solving the above technical problem is:
In a synthetic resin molded product that is insert-molded with the insert label disposed on the cavity surface of the mold as an insert material, and the surface is decorated with this insert label,
The insert label shall be a synthetic resin film as a base layer,
On the surface side of this base material layer, it has a rough surface transfer region in which the fine uneven structure of the roughened region formed by roughening in the cavity surface is transferred simultaneously with the insert molding. is there.

In insert molding, a high-temperature molten resin that forms a molded product or a resin that has been softened at a high temperature acts to press the label against the cavity surface of the molding die due to the molding pressure. Is made of a synthetic resin film that is relatively soft and has a low softening temperature.
It was discovered that fine irregularities on the cavity surface were transferred to the base material layer by insert molding if the cavity surface was preliminarily formed with roughening processing such as embossing or hairline processing. The present invention described below has been achieved.

In the above configuration and the following description, for example, “back side of the base material layer”, the “front side” or “back side” is used for convenience in order to clarify the entire label or the stacking direction of each layer constituting the label. Here, the term “back side” indicates the surface of the synthetic resin molded article and the “front side” indicates the opposite side.
Further, an adhesive layer is usually laminated on the entire back surface of the base material layer of the label. In addition, a decoration layer such as a print layer is laminated in a predetermined area for the purpose of decoration and display as necessary.

And the decorative molded product of the said structure is
It can be easily formed by setting the label as an insert material on the cavity surface of the mold in which a roughened area having a predetermined shape is arranged in a predetermined area by roughening and molding a molded product. it can.
That is, by the molding pressure of the high-temperature molten resin or the softened resin at the time of insert molding, the fine uneven shape of the roughened area of the cavity surface is the surface side of the base material layer of the label pressed against the cavity surface. And a rough surface transfer region having a fine uneven shape having a predetermined shape is formed in a predetermined region on the surface side of the base material layer.

In this way, by arranging a rough surface transfer region with a fine uneven shape of a predetermined shape in a predetermined region on the surface side of the base material layer, the light reflection mode on the surface of the molded product can be variously changed. In combination with the fact that the label is integrated and stuck to the surface of the molded product without any step by insert molding, the visual effect that the surface of the molded product itself has various textures can be achieved. It can be demonstrated.

In addition, various designs such as designs, patterns, characters, designs, etc. can be configured by combining the rough surface transfer area and other areas (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as non-roughened areas). A deep and even three-dimensional visual effect can be imparted by the difference in the light reflection mode.

The rough surface transfer region can be easily formed with good reproducibility simply by roughening the cavity surface.
Furthermore, if it is configured with a member that can replace the cavity surface at the part where the label is in close contact, it is possible to obtain molded products having rough surface transfer regions of various designs by simply replacing this member.

According to another configuration of the present invention, in the main configuration described above, the insert label is made of a synthetic resin film having a transparent base layer, and a decorative layer is laminated on a predetermined region on the back side of the base layer. Is.

Here, the decorative layer can be appropriately selected from a printing layer, a metal thin film layer, a coating film layer, or a laminate of a printing layer and a metal thin film layer, in accordance with the purpose of the decoration. According to this, the combination of the rough surface transfer area disposed on the front surface side of the transparent base material layer and the decorative layer laminated on the back surface side makes it possible for the decorative layer to be lifted by the transparent base material layer. The effect is demonstrated, and a variety of deep and sophisticated decoration effects can be brought out.

Still another configuration of the present invention is that, in the main configuration described above, the decorative layer is a metal thin film layer.

According to the above configuration, the rough surface transfer region disposed on the front surface side of the transparent base material layer and the metal thin film layer laminated on the back surface side are combined to form a metal-like material by the rough surface transfer region and the non-transfer region. Various textures can be given to the metallic appearance by changing the gloss.
Furthermore, a three-dimensional visual effect can be produced by combining a mirror-like portion formed by the non-roughened region and a dull shining portion formed by the roughened surface transfer region to produce a shadowy visual effect.

Still another configuration of the present invention is the configuration in which, in the main configuration described above, the molded product is a projection having a predetermined shape protruding on the surface, and the insert label is adhered along the shape of the projection. It is said that.

The decorative molded product with the above configuration is
It can be molded by setting the insert label on the cavity surface in which the concave portion forming the convex portion of the molded product is engraved so as to cover the concave portion in a bridging manner and molding the molded product. The base layer film of the insert label can be softened by contact with a high-temperature molten resin, and further deformed by stretching and deforming according to the molding pressure of the molten resin to conform to the shape of the recess. It can laminate | stack through the contact bonding layer along the shape of the surface also including the convex part of goods.

And according to the said structure, the convex part of a molded article, the rough surface transfer area | region of a base material layer, and the non-transfer area | region are combined, for example, a convex part is coat | covered with the rough surface transfer area | region formed in the shape of this convex part. By adjusting these relative arrangement positions, the shadow of the convex portion can be emphasized, and a more three-dimensional decoration effect can be exhibited.

Here, the shape of the convex portion can be appropriately selected from a design such as a pattern, a pattern, a character, a design, etc. depending on the purpose of decoration, but in addition to the decoration effect, the cavity surface in insert molding It is necessary to take into account the stretch deformability of the label along the concave portion formed on the surface, and the projection height of the convex portion is preferably 0.6 mm at the maximum. If it exceeds 0.6 mm, the shape of the convex portion cannot be reproduced or wrinkles occur.

Also, if the thickness of the base material layer is too thick, as described above, the stretch deformability along the concave portion of the cavity surface is impaired, and if too thin, the optical effect by the transparent body is not sufficiently exhibited, The thickness of the base layer film is preferably in the range of 0.075 to 0.2 mm.

Still another configuration of the present invention is that, in the above main configuration, the base layer of the insert label is made of a film made of polystyrene resin.

In the above configuration, the styrene resin includes polystyrene resin, high impact polystyrene resin, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (AS) resin, ABS resin, and the like.
These polystyrene resin films have transparency except for the ABS resin, and the softening temperature is low in the transparent film. At the same time as the insert molding, a fine uneven shape in the roughened area of the cavity surface is formed. Therefore, it is possible to easily transfer with high accuracy, and it is possible to form a rough surface transfer region with a fine uneven shape with high quality.

Furthermore, the stretch deformability in insert molding is also good, and even when forming a convex part on the surface of the molded product, it can be easily stretched and deformed along the shape of the concave part engraved on the cavity surface. A label can be laminated | stacked on the surface of a molded product along the shape of the surface also including the convex part of a molded product.

Here, the base material layer of the insert label used as the insert material in the decorative molded product of the present invention is not limited to the polystyrene-based resin film, but synthetic resin, injection molding, blow molding, heat used in the molded product. Considering the molding method such as molding, the shape of the molded product, the shape of the convex part, and the molding resin temperature and molding pressure,
During insert molding, it can be softened by a high-temperature molten resin, and the fine uneven shape of the roughened area can be transferred by the molding pressure. Furthermore, the convex portion of the molded product is stretched and deformed along the shape of the concave portion of the cavity surface. It is possible to select a synthetic resin film having easy stretchability that can be coated.
In addition to the above-mentioned film made of polystyrene resin, for example, a polyester that is made flexible by adding a copolymer component such as cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) to ethylene glycol or terephthalic acid, which is a monomer component, to increase easy stretchability An easily stretched film can be used without impairing transparency by means of copolymerization or fine dispersion of a rubber component, depending on the purpose, such as using a system film.

Since the decorative synthetic resin molded product of the present invention has the above-described configuration, the following effects are exhibited.
That is, in what has the main composition of the present invention, by arranging a rough surface transfer region by a fine uneven shape of a predetermined shape at a predetermined position on the surface side of the base material layer,
The light reflection pattern on the surface of the molded product can be changed in various ways, and the surface of the molded product itself can be combined with the fact that the label is integrated and stuck on the surface of the molded product without any steps. Visual effects such as having a good texture can be exhibited.

In addition, the rough surface transfer area on the surface of the base material layer, convex portions formed on the surface of the molded product, decorative layers such as a printed layer and a metal thin film layer, and a transparent base material layer are added. Combined with the effects of the constituent elements, it is possible to bring out an unprecedented high-quality, diverse, deep and even three-dimensional decoration effect.

In addition, the rough surface transfer area on the surface of the base material layer is a surface that is formed by roughening the cavity surface at the same time as insert molding, and can be formed easily and with high productivity. It is.

DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 and 2 show a first embodiment of a decorative synthetic resin molded product according to the present invention, FIG. 1 is a perspective view, and FIG. 2 is a partial sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. It is.
This molded product 1 is a lid for a rectangular thin dish-shaped compact container, and is an injection molded product made of ABS resin colored in black.

Further, the flat top wall 4 is a character whose plane shape is a stylized character, “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “H”. "A total of eight convex portions 2 are formed to protrude. The protrusion height of the convex portion 2 is 0.4 mm at the maximum.
Further, a label 11 is attached to a rectangular region including the convex portions 2 of the top wall 4 by insert molding using the label 11 as an insert material. As shown in FIG. It sticks so that the surface shape of the convex part 2 may be followed.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the layer structure of the label 11 used in this example. The decorative layer extends over the entire area on the back side of the base material layer 12 made of a colorless and transparent film made of AS resin, which is a polystyrene resin. 13, a metal thin film layer 13a is laminated, and an adhesive layer 15 for adhering to the surface of the molded product 1 is laminated.
Here, the thickness of the base material layer 12 is 0.125 mm, and the thicknesses of the other layers are each about several microns.

The adhesive layer 15 is made of an ethylene / vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate copolymer resin from the viewpoint of heat resistance, and the metal thin film layer 13a formed by a vacuum deposition method, a sputtering method or the like is made of, for example, polyethyleneimine, polyether polyol / polyethylene. Isocyanate, polyester polyol / polyisocyanate and the like are laminated in close contact with the base material layer 12 through an anchor layer diluted with water or an organic solvent.

By making the label 11 have the layer structure as described above, in the rectangular region where the label 11 of the item wall 4 of the molded product 1 is stuck, the metal thin film layer 13a projects through the transparent base material layer 12 and protrudes. The gloss of metallic tone appears as a whole including the part 12.
Furthermore, in this embodiment, the area covering the respective protrusions 2 on the surface side of the base material layer 12 is a rough surface transfer area R having a shape matching the shape of the protrusions 2 (FIGS. 1 and 2). As described later, the hair surface fine irregularities formed by the roughening process are transferred to the cavity surface of the mold as described later, and the peripheral non-transfer area NR having a mirror-like gloss In contrast, a dull luster reveals an unprecedented texture that feels like a metallic background.

Further, a visual effect that shades the convex portion 2 is exhibited due to the difference in gloss between the rough surface transfer region R and the peripheral non-transfer region NR, and the three-dimensional shape of the convex portion 2 is further emphasized, and the protruding height is increased. Even with the convex portion 2 of about 0.4 mm, a three-dimensional visual effect can be exhibited sufficiently.
And the above-mentioned visual effect by the convex part 2, the metal foil film layer 13a, and the rough surface transfer area | region R is exhibited through the transparent base material layer 12, and a deep and three-dimensional decoration effect Is demonstrated with high quality.

Next, FIG. 4 is a schematic explanatory view of a mold configuration for insert-molding the decorative molded product shown in FIGS.
The mold 31 includes a cavity mold 33 and a core mold 32, and a stylized letter “A” is formed on the cavity surface 33 s of the cavity mold 33 to form the convex portion 2 on the surface of the molded product 1. A concave portion 33a corresponding to a symbol of “H” is formed.
The surface of each recess 33a is a roughened region Rm, and a fine concavo-convex structure is formed by a roughening process (hairline processing in this embodiment).

Molten resin that forms the molded product 1 in the cavity 34 with the label 11 closely attached to the cavity surface 33s as shown in FIG. (ABS resin in this embodiment) is injected and filled.
And in the part in which the recessed part 33a is located, in the state where the label 11 part located in a bridge | bridging shape in the recessed part 33a, especially the base material layer 12 part made from AS resin, the flexibility increased with high temperature molten resin, With the filling pressure, the label 11 can be stretched and deformed along the shape of the concave portion 33a in a deep drawing shape, and the label 11 can be laminated along the shape of the convex portion 2 as shown in FIG.
Here, the metal thin film layer 13a was stretched and deformed in a state where the base layer 12 and the adhesive layer 15 were sandwiched in close contact from the front and back, so that the metal thin film layer 13a was uniformly stretched and no cracks or wrinkles were observed.

At the same time as the insert molding, the label 11 is pressed against the cavity surface 33s by the hairline-shaped fine irregularities in the roughened region Rm of the cavity surface 33s by the filling pressure of the high-temperature molten resin at the time of insert molding. Then, the rough surface transfer region R is formed on the surface side of the base material layer 12 as shown in FIGS.

Next, FIG. 5 is a plan view showing a second embodiment of the decorative synthetic resin molded product of the present invention.
The shape of the molded product 1 is an injection molded product made of ABS resin colored with rectangular plate pieces. A label 11 having the same configuration as the insert label (see FIG. 2) used for the decorative molded product of the first embodiment is formed by insert molding over substantially the entire surface of the flat surface of the molded product 1 excluding the peripheral portion. It is stuck.

On the surface side of the label 11, that is, on the surface side of the base material layer 12 made of a transparent AS resin film, as shown in FIG. 5, the shape of “star shape” or “snow crystal” The symbol that has appeared.
In this embodiment, these “star shape” or “snow crystal” symbol portions are designated as non-transfer areas NR, and the area around these designs as the rough transfer area R, and the rough transfer area where a dull metallic luster appears. In R, mirror-like glossy “star shape” and “snow crystals” float in the transparent base material layer 12 and exhibit an unprecedented decoration effect that shines brightly Is done.
Even when the surface of the molded product 1 does not have a convex portion as in the molded product of the first embodiment as in this embodiment, a high degree of application is made by utilizing the contrast between the rough surface transfer region R and the non-transfer region NR. The decoration effect was able to be demonstrated.
