Abstract
【解決手段】通信装置は、縦波の誘導電界の信号を放射する高周波結合器と、横波の放射電磁界若しくは電波信号を放射するアンテナを備え、横方向に広がりのある通信可能範囲を持つ。ターゲット・ポイント付近で通信が安定するというメリハリのある操作性、偏波(すなわち、アンテナの向きの依存性)のない使い勝手を実現すると同時に、横方向に広がりを持つ通信可能範囲によってターゲット・ポイントを目指した位置合わせの精度を緩和することができる。

Description
データを伝送する高周波信号の処理を行なう通信回路部と、
前記通信回路部に接続される高周波信号の伝送路と、
前記高周波信号を入力して、縦波の誘導電界の信号を放射する高周波結合器と、
前記高周波信号を入力して、横波の放射電磁界若しくは電波信号を放射するアンテナと、
を具備する通信装置である。ここで言う高周波結合器は、請求項2に記載の発明によれば、前記伝送路の一端に接続され電荷を蓄える結合用電極と、前記結合用電極に対向して配置され前記電荷に対する鏡像電荷を蓄えるグランドと、前記高周波信号が供給された際に発生する定在波の電圧振幅が大きくなる部位に前記結合用電極を取り付けて前記結合用電極に流れ込む電流を大きくするための共振部と、前記結合用電極のほぼ中央の位置にて前記共振部に接続する金属線からなる支持部を有し、前記結合用電極に蓄えられた前記電荷の中心と前記グランドに蓄えられた鏡像電荷の中心を結ぶ線分からなる微小ダイポールを形成して、前記微小ダイポールの方向となす角θがほぼ0度となるように対向して配置された通信相手側の高周波結合器に向けて前記縦波の誘導電界の信号を出力するように構成されている。
(2)より強い電界で結合させるための共振部があること。
(3)通信に使用する周波数帯において、結合用電極を向かい合わせに置いたときにインピーダンス・マッチングが取れるように、直列・並列インダクタ、及び、結合用電極によるコンデンサの定数、あるいはスタブの長さが設定されていること。

Claims (10)
- データを伝送する高周波信号の処理を行なう通信回路部と、
前記通信回路部に接続される高周波信号の伝送路と、
前記高周波信号を入力して、縦波の誘導電界の信号を放射する高周波結合器と、
前記高周波信号を入力して、横波の放射電磁界若しくは電波信号を放射するアンテナと、
を具備する通信装置。 - 前記高周波結合器は、前記伝送路の一端に接続され電荷を蓄える結合用電極と、前記結合用電極に対向して配置され前記電荷に対する鏡像電荷を蓄えるグランドと、前記高周波信号が供給された際に発生する定在波の電圧振幅が大きくなる部位に前記結合用電極を取り付けて前記結合用電極に流れ込む電流を大きくするための共振部と、前記結合用電極のほぼ中央の位置にて前記共振部に接続する金属線からなる支持部を有し、前記結合用電極に蓄えられた前記電荷の中心と前記グランドに蓄えられた鏡像電荷の中心を結ぶ線分からなる微小ダイポールを形成して、前記微小ダイポールの方向となす角θがほぼ0度となるように対向して配置された通信相手側の高周波結合器に向けて前記縦波の誘導電界の信号を出力する、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記高周波結合器は、主に前記結合用電極の正面方向に前記縦波の誘導電界の信号を放射し、
前記アンテナは、前記横波の放射電磁界若しくは電波信号が、前記高周波結合器が持つ通信可能範囲に対して横方向の広がりを与えるように配置される、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記伝送路は、前記高周波結合器から放射される前記縦波の誘導電界の信号の経路と、前記アンテナから放射される前記横波の放射電磁界若しくは電波信号の経路の位相が一致するように、それぞれの経路の位相の信号総長が調整されている、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記高周波信号の伝送路を前記高周波結合器又は前記アンテナのいずれか一方に選択的に接続するスイッチをさらに備え、前記高周波結合器又は前記アンテナのうち伝送状態のより良い方に接続して切り替えダイバーシティーを行なう、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記アンテナは、放射電磁界若しくは電波信号を放射する長さを有する前記支持部の金属線からなる、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記アンテナは、前記結合用電極の誘導電界の放射方向に配設された金属片からなる、
請求項1に記載の通信装置。 - 前記金属片は、2分の1波長又は2分の1の整数倍の長さの線状に構成され、それ自身が単独でアンテナとして共振する、
請求項7に記載の通信装置。 - 前記金属片は、1波長又は波長の整数倍の長さのループ状に構成され、それ自身が単独でアンテナとして共振する、
請求項7に記載の通信装置。 - 前記金属片は、共振したときの電位の振幅が最大になる部位に前記結合用電極から放射される強い誘導電界が当たる場所に配設される、
