Description

The present invention relates to an illuminating device that is mounted on, for example, an automobile or a motorcycle and displays a plurality of display portions formed on a display board by emitting light by turning on corresponding light sources.

As this type of lighting device, for example, one described in Patent Document 1 below is known. The lighting device includes a circuit board, a light source mounted on the circuit board, and a display board having a light-transmitting display portion at a position corresponding to the light source. The display unit of the nature is displayed with light emission.

The display board includes a light-transmitting substrate, a light shielding layer formed on the back side of the substrate, a display portion formed by extracting a part of the light shielding layer into the shape of an indicator mark, and a display portion. A ground color layer having a light-shielding property formed on the front surface of the substrate with a corresponding cut-out portion, and a light-absorbing layer (smoke layer) formed on the front side of the substrate so as to cover the cut-out portion When the light source is turned off, the display portion is almost invisible due to the action of the light absorbing layer.

3)Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2006-082275 (FIG. 3)

By the way, in the illuminating device described in Patent Document 1, there are cases where a display panel formed by drawing so that the plate surface has an inclination or a step is used. For example, a plurality of plate surfaces having a step in the front-rear direction with respect to the viewing direction. When the display unit is provided for each of the above, since the distance between the light source and the display unit differs depending on the position where the display unit is formed, in order to suppress the variation in the light emission luminance of the display unit, the distance between the light source and the display unit A method of adjusting the intensity of transmitted light by changing the number of stacked light absorbing layers or using light absorbing inks having different transmittances has been used. However, these methods require a plurality of printing steps to print the light-absorbing layer, which causes an increase in cost.

Accordingly, the present invention focuses on the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide an illumination device capable of adjusting the luminance of a display unit with a small number of types of light control ink and a small number of printing steps.

The present invention includes a ground color portion and a first display portion and a second display portion that are spaced apart from each other so as to form a predetermined translucent design within the ground color portion by printing on a substrate. A display plate, and a first light source and a second light source disposed behind the display plate at positions corresponding to the display units, and the first and second light sources are turned on to turn on the first and second light sources. In the illumination device that causes the second display unit to emit light, the region corresponding to each of the first display unit and the second display unit uses the same ink, and the transmittance is the same as that of the first display unit. The present invention is characterized in that a first light control layer and a second light control layer comprising a dot layer that are adjusted to be different from those of the second display portion are provided.
With such a configuration, the luminance of the display unit can be adjusted with a small number of types of dimming ink and a small number of printing steps, so that cost reduction can be achieved.

In the invention, it is preferable that the dot layer is formed using a light shielding or light absorbing ink.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the illuminating device which can adjust the brightness | luminance of a display part with few kinds of inks for light control and a printing man-hour can be provided.

An illuminating device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes, for example, a vehicle meter, and a circuit board 3 and a pointer between a back cover 1 made of a light-shielding synthetic resin and a front cover 2 made of a transparent synthetic resin. A display unit U including a meter 4, a light emitting diode 5, a frame 6 and a display board 7 is arranged.

The circuit board 3 is a hard wiring board made of, for example, paper phenol or epoxy resin, and is mounted with a drive main body and a light emitting diode 5 described later of a pointer type meter.

The pointer-type meter 4 includes a drive main body 41 and a pointer 42. The main body of the drive main body 41 is attached to the back surface of the circuit board 3 so that the pointer shaft 43 penetrates the circuit board 3. It is connected to the pointer shaft 43 and extends along the front surface of the display board 7. The indicator 42 is formed of a translucent material at least in the indicator portion, and receives light from the light emitting diode (first light emitting diode described later) 5 to emit light.

Further, two pointer-type meters 4 formed in this way are incorporated and combined with the display board 7 to constitute a speedometer located on the left side and a fuel meter located on the right side in FIG.

The light-emitting diode 5 includes a first light-emitting diode 51 that emits light from the pointer 42, a second light-emitting diode 52 that emits light from a first design portion, which will be described later, of the display board 7, and a second design, which will be described later. A third light-emitting diode (first light source) 53 (see FIG. 2) that emits light from a portion, and a fourth light-emitting diode (second light source) 54 (that emits light from a later-described third design portion of the display panel 7). (See FIG. 3).

The frame 6 is made of, for example, milky white synthetic resin, and combines the circuit board 3 and the display board 7, and transmits the light from each of the light emitting diodes 51 to 54 to the pointer 42 and the first design part to the third design part. It also has a guiding function, and particularly has a lighting chamber 61 in which the third and fourth light emitting diodes 53 and 54 are accommodated at a location corresponding to the second and third design portions.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the display panel 7 includes a substrate 71, a light shielding layer 72 formed on the back surface of the substrate 71, a colored layer 73 formed on the front surface of the substrate 71, and the colored layer 73. And a protective layer 75 covering the ground color layer (ground color part) 74 and the colored layer 73.

The substrate 71 is made of, for example, a colorless and transparent synthetic resin sheet material. The sheet material has a three-dimensional shape to be described later after the light shielding layer 72, the colored layer 73, the ground color layer 74, and the protective layer 75 are formed. It is drawn so as to be.

The light-shielding layer 72 is made of a black ink layer having a light-shielding property which is solidly formed by screen printing, for example, and a part thereof is partially cut out and formed in a shape corresponding to a design part to be described later. And the first and second light control layers 721 and 722 formed of a plurality of dot layers are formed in the first light transmitting portion 21. Of the first and second dimming layers 721 and 722, the first dimming layer 721 adjusts the light transmittance of the third light-emitting diode 53 that passes through a second design portion to be described later. The second light control layer 722 adjusts the light transmittance of the fourth light-emitting diode 54 that passes through a third design portion, which will be described later. The first and second light control layers are formed of a dot layer. 721 and 722 and the light shielding layer 72 made of a solid coating layer are printed and formed in the same process using the same ink.

The colored layer 73 is made of a translucent milky white layer that is solidly formed by screen printing, for example, and covers the entire surface of the substrate 71.

The ground color layer 74 determines the ground color (background color) of the display board 7. For example, the first region R1 corresponding to the speedometer located on the left side in FIG. 1 and the fuel meter located on the right side in FIG. The corresponding second region R2 is set to black, and the third region R3 outside these regions is set to a marble pattern (stone pattern).

In this case, the first and second regions R1 and R2 and the third region R3 are formed by printing with different inks, and the first and second regions R1 and R2 are formed by solid coating, for example, by screen printing. The third region R3 is composed of, for example, Y, M, C, and K (yellow, magenta, cyan, and black), which are independent basic color dot layers of four colors. The ground color layer 74 forms a marble pattern by completely or partially laminating layers, and these four basic color dot layers can be formed using digital printing such as screen printing, offset printing, and inkjet printing. it can.

In the ground color layer 74, a second light transmitting portion 741 having a shape corresponding to the first light transmitting portion 21 is formed by punching printing, and the first light transmitting portion 21 and the second light transmitting portion 741 are formed. As a result, first to third design portions 76, 77, 78 are formed.

The first design portion 76 is composed of scales, numbers, and characters to be indicated by the pointer 42, forms a translucent design corresponding to the speedometer and the fuel gauge, and is lit and displayed by the second light emitting diode 52. The

The second design portion (first display portion) 77 is composed of an indicator mark for displaying the vehicle state, for example, the optical axis direction of the headlamp, in the first region R1, and the third light emitting diode 53 emits light. Is displayed.

The third design portion (second display portion) 78 includes an indicator mark that displays a vehicle state different from the second design portion 77, for example, a gear position, in the third region R3. Light emission is displayed by the diode 54.

As described above, the display board 7 obtained by printing the light shielding layer 72, the colored layer 73, the ground color layer 74, and the protective layer 75 on the substrate 71 has the second region R2 and the third region R3 on the same plane. The first region R1 is drawn into a concave shape that is recessed toward the back side (circuit board side) when the flat third region R3 is used as a reference. Thereby, the distance D1 (refer FIG. 2) of the 2nd design part 77 located in 1st area | region R1 and the 3rd light emitting diode 53 is the 3rd design part 78 located in 3rd area | region R3. The distance from the fourth light emitting diode 54 is smaller than the distance D2 (see FIG. 3), and the second design portion 77 is closer to the light emitting diode 5 than the third design portion 78.

In the present embodiment, the dot layers constituting the first and second light control layers 721 and 722 have different formation densities, concentrations, and sizes (covering areas) in accordance with such differences in the distances D1 and D2. Thus, the light transmittance from the light source 5 is provided to be different between the second design portion 77 and the third design portion 78.

That is, the first light control layer 721 has a transmittance lower than that of the second light control layer 722 because the second design portion 77 is closer to the light emitting diode 5 (than the third design portion 78). The second dimming layer 722 has a higher transmittance than the first dimming layer 721 because the third design portion 78 is farther from the light emitting diode 5 (than the second design portion 77). The light emission luminances of the second design portion 77 and the third design portion 78 are adjusted so as to approach each other so that there is no sense of incongruity.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the substrate 71 is printed so that the ground color layer (ground color portion) 74 and the ground color portion 74 are separated from each other so as to form a predetermined translucent design. Display panel 7 provided with two design parts (first display part) 77 and third design part (second display part) 78, and behind each display part 7, each design part 77, 78 A third light-emitting diode (first light source) 53 and a fourth light-emitting diode (second light source) 54 are provided at corresponding positions, and the first and second light-emitting diodes 53 and 54 are turned on. In the illumination device that emits light from the second and third design portions 77 and 78, the region corresponding to each of the second design portion 77 and the third design portion 78 has the same transmittance using the same ink. The first tone consisting of a dot layer that is adjusted differently between the second design portion 77 and the third design portion 78. By providing the layer 721 and the second light control layer 722, the brightness of the second and third design portions 77 and 78 can be adjusted with a small number of types of light control ink and a small number of printing steps. Cost reduction can be achieved.

In the present embodiment, the dot layer is formed using a light-shielding ink. However, if the brightness of the second and third design portions 77 and 78 can be adjusted, a light-absorbing ink such as smoke or an arbitrary color can be used. Color ink may be used.

In this embodiment, the first and second light control layers 721 and 722 are provided on the back surface of the substrate 71. However, as another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. It may be provided on the front side of 71 so as to be visible, or may be provided on both sides of the substrate 71.

In this embodiment, the dot layer formation density is varied according to the distances D1 and D2 between the second and third design portions 77 and 78 and the light source 5, but the brightness and number of the light sources 5 to be used are different. Accordingly, the transmittance may be different.
