Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing aromatic phosphate esters in waste oil and a treatment system for waste oil containing polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB).
Conventionally, it is known to add organometallic additives, phosphorus compounds, and the like to lubricating oils in order to improve wear resistance. As an organometallic additive, ZnDTP (zinc-dithiophosphate) effective for preventing wear and preventing oxidation is frequently used. TCP (tricresyl phosphate) and the like are known as typical phosphorus compounds (Patent Document 1). This tricresyl phosphate is adsorbed on the metal surface and decomposes to form a phosphate film to prevent wear.
By the way, after its use, it is stored as waste oil in drums.
Since this tricresyl phosphate is flame retardant, the lubricating oil containing the tricresyl phosphate may not be combusted and may be stored for a long period of time. If it can be removed efficiently, combustion treatment can be carried out, but an efficient removal method has not yet been established.
Also, PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls: a general term for polychlorinated biphenyls: chlorinated isomers of biphenyls), which are used as insulating oils in heat media, are strictly stored, but PCB processing facilities are located in various places. (Japan Environmental Safety Corporation (JESCO) has been established as a PCB treatment facility, and PCBs have been installed in several locations throughout the country under the supervision of the country. A waste treatment facility is installed and a treatment business is carried out (Non-Patent Document 1).
2)。 In recent years, various technologies for processing PCBs used for such insulating oils have been proposed (about the evaluation method and the evaluated technology of PCB processing technology in the Industrial Waste Treatment Business Promotion Foundation: Non Patent Document 2).
The present applicant has previously proposed a hydrothermal oxidative decomposition apparatus as a PCB processing technique, and performs PCB processing for detoxification (Patent Document 2 or 3).
By the way, when the lubricating oil and the insulating oil as described above are mixed and stored as waste oil, the aromatic phosphate ester has flame retardancy and hygroscopicity. In the dechlorination / decomposition treatment method using Na, although PCB can be detoxified with PCB alone, there is a problem that it is not possible to treat PCB waste oil containing aromatic phosphate treatment containing moisture.
In addition, although the PCB can be decomposed in the hydrothermal oxidative decomposition apparatus, when the aromatic phosphate ester is mixed, the apatite (Ca 5 (PO 4 ) 3 (F, Cl, OH) is added during the hydrothermal treatment process. )) Is generated, from the viewpoint of the soundness of the processing equipment, establishment of an efficient method for removing aromatic phosphate ester as a pretreatment is desired.
In view of the above problems, the present invention provides an aromatic phosphate ester removing device and polychlorinated biphenyl in waste oil capable of removing aromatic phosphate ester in advance when decomposing waste oil with a hydrothermal oxidative decomposition apparatus.

Here, in this example, metallic iron (Fe) was exemplified as a material for mineralizing aromatic phosphate ester in waste oil by extreme pressure reaction decomposition.

In the following [Chemical Formula 1], TCP (tricresyl phosphate) is taken as an example as an aromatic phosphate ester, and metallic iron (Fe) is taken as an example.
As shown in the reaction formula, TCP (tricresyl phosphate) is decomposed by extreme pressure reaction decomposition, and P is mineralized as FePO 4 .2H 2 O, Fe 2 P, FeP 2 .

While hydrolysis does not proceed, the pressure is returned to the
The analysis result in the
Here, as the filter 26, it is preferable to use a metal filter (for example, an iron-based mesh filter). This is because the phosphoric acid ester 12 remaining in a trace amount in the oil layer can be efficiently removed by attaching and removing phosphorus (P) from the metal iron (Fe) with a metal filter.
Thereafter, the treated waste oil 27 is treated by a predetermined waste oil treatment device (combustion treatment, hydrothermal decomposition treatment, etc.).

An apparatus for removing an aromatic phosphate ester in waste oil according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of an apparatus for removing aromatic phosphate esters in waste oil according to the second embodiment. FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram of an apparatus for removing an aromatic phosphate ester in another waste oil according to the second embodiment.

When the content of the aromatic phosphate 12 is small, the amount of

The

While emulsification by extreme pressure decomposition does not proceed, the circulation line L 14 is used to return to the
The analysis result in the
Here, as the predetermined concentration, for example, when 10% or less of the aromatic phosphate ester 12 is contained in the oil, when determining the ratio of phosphoric acid (H 3 PO 4 ) in water, When the acid is about 20% or more, it is judged that extreme pressure decomposition has progressed and the mineralization of the aromatic phosphate has been completed.
On the other hand, when judging the ratio of phosphorus (P) in the oil, when the phosphorus is about 10 to 100 ppm, the extreme pressure decomposition proceeds and the transition from the
This determination may be made both or may be either one.
The
The threshold for completion of extreme pressure cracking depends on the requirements of the processing facility, but generally <100 ppm is considered in the oil after reaction. When water is added, the form existing on the water layer side is phosphoric acid (H 3 PO 4 ), and the surface of the metal (iron) is inorganic phosphorus (Fe 2 P, FeP 2 ).
Thereafter, the
Here, as the filter 26, in order to efficiently remove a small amount of aromatic phosphate ester remaining in the
Thereafter, the treated waste oil 27 is treated by a predetermined waste oil treatment device (combustion treatment, hydrothermal decomposition treatment, etc.).
According to the present invention, the aromatic phosphate ester in the waste oil can be efficiently treated by hydrolysis, and the subsequent waste oil (lubricating oil) becomes incombustible and combustion treatment is possible.
