Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a laser processing method and apparatus for deflecting and scanning laser light from a laser oscillator with a remote head and irradiating a workpiece to be cut.
Conventionally, laser cutting using laser light has been used for cutting metal plates, plastic plates, and the like. Laser cutting is mainly used when high-speed machining or repeated machining of the same shape is required.

As shown in FIG. 4, the
When the
However, in the

Therefore, by using a remote head that uses a long-focus galvanometer mirror or the like as a laser beam scanning method, large-sized devices such as the articulated robot and XY table are not required. Is possible. In addition, the accuracy during high-speed machining is improved by using the remote head.

As shown in FIG. 5, the
When cutting the
However, when a workpiece is cut using a laser cutting device using a remote head, such as the
Therefore, Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for limiting the magnitude of the acceleration of the laser machining head relative to the workpiece or the magnitude of the time change of the acceleration in order to improve the quality of the laser cut surface.
However, the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 achieves improvement in the quality of the laser cut surface by preventing the deterioration of the quality of the laser cut surface due to the laser processing speed. Etc. cannot be removed. Therefore, even if the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 is applied to a laser cutting device that uses a remote head and is coaxial with laser light and cannot spray assist gas onto a workpiece, dross or the like remains. The resulting deterioration in the quality of the laser cut surface cannot be prevented.
Therefore, in view of the problems of the prior art, the present invention is to perform processing by deflecting and scanning a laser beam from a laser oscillator with a remote head and irradiating a workpiece to be processed. Even if it is not possible to spray assist gas coaxially with the workpiece, laser processing can be performed to remove molten gas, dross, etc. generated by laser processing, and to prevent degradation of the quality of the laser cut surface caused by the dross, etc. An object is to provide an apparatus and method.
As an invention of a method for solving the above-mentioned problems, in a laser cutting method in which a laser beam from a laser oscillator is deflected and scanned by a remote head and irradiated to a workpiece, the laser beam irradiation surface of the workpiece is processed A first box that covers the entire laser light irradiation range formed of a material that transmits the laser light, and the laser light is disposed on the back surface of the laser light irradiation surface of the workpiece. A second box that covers the entire portion corresponding to the rear surface of the irradiation range is disposed, and then the gas is supplied into the first box so that the first box maintains a positive pressure, and the second box While evacuating the second box so that the pressure in the box remains lower than that in the first box, the member to be processed is irradiated with a laser beam changed and scanned by the remote head. Specially for processing To.
Here, the processing in the present invention means processing in which a portion penetrating the workpiece is generated by irradiating the laser beam, and for example, cutting and drilling of the workpiece are applicable.
As a result, since the first box is maintained in a state in which the pressure is higher than that of the second box, the second box is moved from the first box (laser irradiation surface of the workpiece) during laser processing. The gas flows toward (the back surface of the laser small slope of the workpiece). The gas flow can remove molten gas, dross, and the like generated by laser processing, and can prevent degradation of the quality of the laser processed surface caused by the dross.
That is, even if the assist gas cannot be sprayed on the workpiece coaxially with the laser beam irradiated to the workpiece, the molten gas, dross, etc. generated by the laser processing are removed, and the laser cut surface caused by the dross is removed. Quality deterioration can be prevented.
Moreover, it is good to process the said to-be-processed member, keeping the differential pressure | voltage between the said 1st box and the said 2nd box constant.
In order to stabilize the quality of the processed part by laser processing, it is necessary to keep the gas flow velocity around the processed part constant. Here, the flow velocity of the gas flowing from the first box to the second box is proportional to the differential pressure in the second box. Therefore, by processing the member to be processed while keeping the differential pressure between the first box and the second box constant, it is possible to stabilize the quality of the processed part by laser processing.
In addition, as an invention of an apparatus for solving the problem, in a laser processing apparatus having a laser oscillator and a remote head that deflects and scans the laser light from the laser oscillator and irradiates a workpiece,
A first box that is disposed on the laser beam irradiation surface of the workpiece and has a laser beam incident direction that is formed of a material that transmits the laser beam and covers the entire laser beam irradiation range; and the laser beam of the workpiece A second box that is disposed on the back surface of the irradiation surface and covers the entire portion corresponding to the back surface of the laser light irradiation range, and a gas so that the first box maintains a positive pressure in the first box. And a gas supply means for supplying pressure, and a pressure reducing means for reducing the pressure in the second box so that the pressure in the second box is lower than that in the first box. To do.
Further, a differential pressure gauge for detecting a differential pressure in the first box and the second box is provided, and the gas supply amount by the gas supply means and the pressure reducing means are set so that the differential pressure becomes constant. The amount of decompression should be adjusted.
As a result, the pressure inside the
As described above, according to the present invention, the laser beam from the laser oscillator is deflected and scanned by the remote head and irradiated to the member to be processed, which is coaxial with the laser beam irradiated to the workpiece. Even if the assist gas cannot be sprayed on the workpiece, the molten gas, dross, etc. generated by the laser processing can be removed, and the deterioration of the quality of the laser machined surface due to the dross can be prevented.

Next, a laser cutting method using the laser processing apparatus 1 having the above configuration will be described.
First, the workpiece 2 is arranged so that the machining range B of the workpiece 2 is positioned below the galvano head 20, and the

Next, the
Next, the
The laser light oscillated by the

At this time, when the cutting progresses and a part penetrating from the laser light irradiation surface to the back surface is generated in a part of the workpiece 2, the gas in the
FIG. 3 is a graph showing temporal changes in pressure in the
As shown in FIG. 3, at the start of

With the above configuration and operation, the gas flows from the laser irradiation surface to the back surface of the workpiece 2 during laser cutting. That is, even if the assist gas cannot be sprayed on the workpiece coaxially with the laser beam irradiated to the workpiece, the molten gas, dross, etc. generated by the laser cutting are removed, and the laser cut surface caused by the dross etc. is removed. Quality deterioration can be prevented.
